    Atmosphere

The food was amazing!!! We came in for a late night bite before getting back out to the clubs and this place just hit the spot. With an easy going and welcoming atmosphere. The bartender (Susie- you rock!!!) was very attentive and courteous while also helping with recommending one of the best sandwiches I've had the pleasure of enjoying down in Wilmington (and I wasn't drunk, yet). The one bartender /server on hand was crushing the definition of hospitality. Thank you for being the restaurant/bar that we needed to kick start our New Year's Day!! Btw- best sandwich was the Ghostface Fillah- don't be scared- it's beyond amazing!!!!

incredible food, I love this place so much and plan to come here a lot in the future. The burger is amazing, the meatball sandwich is LEGENDARY, & the pasta salad is impeccable. Our bartender/ servers name was Lauren and she was so cool & nice.

A delicious SMASH BURGER was here haha. Excellent

Was killing time and wanted a quick meal, stopped inside this place. Perfect noise inside the bar, not sure how to explain it. Very comfortable. Really friendly and helpful waitress and a burger so good I forgot to take a picture of it. So here's an empty plate. Fantastic spot.

This place was GOOD. Went late at night and the bar was semi busy but good chill vibe! Ghost face fillah steak sandwich was 10/10, will be back

SMASH BURGER which is not actually smash burger

One fine late afternoon in downtown Wilmington, I was walking around for a quick place to grab lunch and Fox's came to mind. A couple of people at work had talked about this place so I gave it a try. When you first walk in you are promptly greeted and seated. The inside is spacious and casual, the entire feel is more motorcycle dive bar. We ordered the cheese fries and the smash burger. I was a little disappointed with the smash burger because it did not have any of the markings of a true smash burger. There were no crispy flat edges, no grilled onions on top. When I was ordering I was told they don't do grilled onions. What I got was just a regular cheeseburger and it was juicy and delicious - but they should seriously consider renaming the item on the menu. Cheese fries were delicious, and the sauce on top was generous, and they were fried perfectly well. Overall we had a decent and quick lunch here. If you are in town come check them out!

    RUBE GOLDBERG

Rubén was really good. As you can see the ruben slice on the left had about 3 pieces of meat and the one on the right was loaded with meat. I thought the portions on that were a bit odd. I ordered a side salad as well since it didn't come with a said and was really pleased with the salad it had really good arugula and cheese. Our service was quite bad my friend had to grab her own sauce from the pick up counter because the waitress took forever. We didn't get checked on and had to flag her down multiple times to get napkins, extra sauce what have you. The place was really small and compact maybe like 6-10 tables and a bar area. Overall the food was great the service was not.

BIG WES'S LIL' WIENERS and pretzel bites

First time as wilmington locals stopping in. We got the pretzel bites and the little weenies appetizer. Super fast and attentive service. It's a cute, quiet little bar with great food.

Stopped in before a comedy show at the wilson center to watch some football and grab a bite to eat. We love the ambiance. The bartender was friendly and easy to talk to. The fried cheese app was amazing, we were starving so I forgot to take a picture before we devoured it. My husband had the chili cheese hot dogs, he said "the dogs were good" I had the chicken thigh sandwich. It was amazing. Super flavorful, juicy, and the Hawaiian bun really topped it off. Nice liquor selection and great specials. We will be sure to visit next time in Wilmington!

This ais a partially eaten Rube Goldberg.. awesome sandwich!

I ordered a Rube Goldberg sandwich and it was fantastic. I will definitely eat here again!

It's spring break and azalea fest...so that worked out perfectly. We were greeted at the counter and the nice young gentleman asked if my daughter could have a cookie. Sure! Giant chocolate chips, so good. I ordered and they even offered me a coffee while I waited. I chose the Haley on a long roll. Nice crusty bread, fresh mozzarella, turkey, arugula and balsamic. Honestly, haven't had a hoagie that good in years. We also had their pasta salad, equally delicious. Plenty of seating inside, with a lot of cool photos on the walls. It felt just like being home. Clearly very poor quality produce used, any toddler could create a better sandwich id bet, if they cared not to pick out the cheapest poisons to consume. Egg sandwich sucked too. Flavorless mediocre antipasto salad. Desserts are so mediocre aswell. They stole the carrot cake I ordered. pound cake dry and flavorless. Trashy lays chips lazily thrown on as a side to everything. The "capri", the first thing im able to taste yet, the beef has a taste of raw tuna. Disgusting. Went into the trash. Along with all the money ive spent at this dumpster. Everywhere in wilmington ive been has been slightly less than mediocore, Mediocre ingredients everywhere, preperation doesnt matter at this point. even the "nicer" restuarants here. But this is just so so much worse. and oh the prices, the prices compelled me to write the review. Terrible service, I accidentally grabbed the wrong sandwich due to the terrible squeal the chef lets out. When I did, I was on the brink of getting splashed in a wave of diarrhea and urine, with how far the seams of his diaper had stretched. I guess he knows how much a customer can be peed on with the "food" they serve, and the seemingly good reviews they brag about getting in return.

There was a sign stand on the ground. Made a left at the sign and walked a few steps down and made a right when I reached the small tree/bush to the double door entrance. Skyline Cafe is essentially a duplicate of Brooklyn Cafe. Owner was nice and welcoming like my last experience at Brooklyn Cafe. There were small tables in the cafe itself and some chairs with personal tables joined to the chair by the front entrance. There were also a ton more tables around the corner but looked like it was a cafeteria/lunch break area, separate from the cafe. Coffee beans are organic from Hampstead. Wasn't a big fan of the coffee (had a drip) but I enjoyed the Ollie's donut (cake donut made with mashed potatoes) and cheese and jalapeño Kolache (Czech yeast pastry) with sour cream. Flavors of the donut included coconut, vanilla, chocolate, lemon. The donut was perfect to pair with coffee. The kolache was warmed up after ordering and was filling. There was a display case with to-go items such as Chobani Greek strawberry yogurt, coconut overnight oats with strawberry chia seed jam, dragonfruit chia seed pudding with coconut milk, and the Kitchen Sink sandwiches. Bathroom is down the hallway by the health clinic. No changing tables or high chairs.
