First impressions are everything when it comes to the service industry, and my first experience with this company leads me to believe that I will go elsewhere for gutter cleaning service in the future. I definitely will not be recommending this company to my friends or family. I rarely write reviews but I feel that in this case it is necessary to let other Yelp users know that this company does not operate in good faith. They make empty promises and do not follow through on what they say they will do. However, I do have to give the owner/manager credit for his timely responses (hence the 2 stars). The root of the problem is that the communication skills of the crew which he sends out to the actual job site is very poor. The crew he sent to my house barely spoke English so it was almost impossible to communicate with them on a professional level. I paid $240 for literally 15-20 minutes of actual work. His crew arrived and completed their "cleaning" in less than hour. They were supposed to send me before and after pictures, but I was told after the fact that was not on the invoice. Problem with that is I took a screen shot of the messages from Yelp in which I stated and confirmed multiple times that the owner/manager would send me before and after pictures of my gutters. Owner was not even willing to compensate or offer any sort of good faith discount for the misunderstanding and miscommunication. Update: I am shocked and disappointed that an owner of a service oriented business thinks it is alright to communicate with a paying customer like this (see screenshot of texts). Reply: Thank you Mr. Jefferson for your reply. However, I find it strange that Jocí (the supposed owner/manager) did not reply himself here on Yelp. He was quick to send me angry and sarcastic texts with eyes rolled emoji's but he did not have the professionalism to address me here on Yelp? Mind you he was the one who initiated the texts in the first place with an unprofessional text regarding me as "the type of negotiator who wants to win at any cost." He also said "A good negotiator knows that one day you win and one day you lose." I have no idea what he was talking about but this is just another example of the kind of service a customer could expect when dealing with Jocí. I do have video time stamping when your crew arrived and when they left and audio of your crews lack of communication skills. I saw on video your crew go up on the roof with a leaf blower and a garbage bag. They came back down 15-20 minutes later with the bag seemingly empty. Without the before and after pictures you agreed to send how do I know your crew did what Jocí called "a job well done"? I know that I did not see any pressure washer and you did not use my water hose. Furthermore, there was no trace of water when I got home and checked my gutters from the ground about an hour and a half after your crew had left. read more

If I could give 10 starts I would! They guys were very nice and did an AMAZING job cleaning our gutters and downspouts. They thought the job would take 90 minutes but they were here for more than 3 hours and of course the price did not change. They came right after our gardner so I was worried that everything they were blowing off the roof and out of the gutters would mess up our clean yard. No need to worry as they cleaned up everything on the ground even better than the gardner. I could not recommend these guys more. They did a great job! Now lets get some rain! read more

He sent me a backup estimate via email and we scheduled a date. They were a few minutes late, but they texted that they were going to be a few minutes late so I appreciated that. I sold my house and I wanted the windows and gutters to be cleaned before the close of escrow which is 5 days from today. I'm glad I found Fox Window & Gutter Cleaning Services online. Joci the manager was quick enough to give me a quote and scheduled the work to be done the same day. His crew was the kind of people I like to work with. Very thorough and fast workers. They were careful in removing the screens and some windows and respectful of my home. In less than 3 hours they were able to clean my gutters including my garage which was a separate building. There were 12 windows in the main house and 2 windows in the garage/multipurpose room. They also cleaned 1 big ceiling fan in the living room and 3 small ceiling fans in the kitchen/dining room and one bedroom. I would love to say I recommend them like everyone here but they never gave me a chance! I submitted an online request for a quote. Didn't hear from them so I called on Thursday last week (10/8). I told the gentleman who answered the phone that I requested a quote online but never heard from anyone. He couldn't seem to find any record of it. So, fine, I was perfectly happy to make an appointment over the phone. Saturday, 10/10 at 11am. No one ever showed up, no one called, and I still haven't heard from anyone. Joci did a fantastic job cleaning out the gutters and downspouts of my house! The entire experience of working with Joci was excellent. He arrived on-time (just a tad early, but that's OK!), and cleared a clogged downspout, and cleaned out the gutters of the house. I observed that he was conscientious of keeping his work area very clean - no messes left behind. My mom went on the roof to observe his work, and she noted that he did a fantastic job of clearing out all the gunk from the gutters...she has high standards (I should know...have had to deal with this my whole life), so that's rare kudos from her! Don't look any further ..... Joci and his crew are fantastic. In the past month we have used Fox Window and Gutter Cleaning twice. The first time was to clean our gutters. The gutters hadn't been cleaned in over 12 years. Joci and his team arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the day, and cleaned up before they left. One of our downspouts was badly clogged. I needed to call a plumbing company to snake the line to the street. However the plumbing company wouldn't touch the downspout. Really???? I had to call Josie back and ask him to remove the downspout so that the plumbing company could clear the clog. I know this sounds crazy but it's what happend. Joci returned and removed the downspout and when the plumbing company was finished, Joci came back and secured the downspout. And he didn't even charge me for two additional trips to my house. We were so impressed that we asked him to come back in a few weeks and clean our windows inside and out. The windows were completed in less than one day. Again Joci & his crew did an outstanding job. We have over 30 small pane windows in our home and the task had become too great for my husband & I. We are so delighted with the results. Joci and his team at Fox Window and Gutter do an AMAZING job! Five years ago, we installed new wood windows and skylights. They were beautiful and hard to clean, as our house is on the side of a hill. I was afraid to have someone wash them for fear they would damage them. After three years however, they were so dirty, I had to find someone. Fox had great reviews, so I gave them a call. Joci was booked up for several weeks, but I needed my windows clean before returning to school in August, so Joci moved some things around to squeeze me in. He and his team were prompt, professional, and left my windows, screens, and skylights beautifully clean. The second time he came out, he noticed that the shade on one of my skylights was not working well. It turned out that the solar cell had gone bad, but the shade was under warranty, so we got a new one for free. I mostly keep the shades closed, so if Joci had not noticed this issue, the shade may have been out of warranty before I noticed. Joci just came out a few weeks ago, and I was impressed at how he and his helper were very respectful about always putting on masks when inside my home as part of COVID protocols. Joci did an awesome job on our windows - inside and out! He thoroughly cleaned the windows, windowsills and screens and they are sparkling clean and beautiful! Even the hard to reach 3rd story windows are spotless - you can barely even tell there is glass there. I almost had him only do the outside windows to save money, but I'm so glad that I decided to do inside and outside - it makes a huge difference and saved me a huge amount of work and time. He was courteous, wearing shoe covers inside and bringing a drop cloth so water didn't get on the floors. He came as scheduled and gave an estimate. I asked these people for a quote for my 3300 sq ft house in Redwood City a couple of weeks ago and Joci came by to have a look. I received a form letter a day or so later addressed to "Dear Customer" with a quote of $880 for window cleaning services. I think this would work out to more than $20/window. Needless to say I had a good laugh and called someone else who did a good job for less than half that amount. So I can't speak to the quality of the work they do, but let's be honest, cleaning windows isn't rocket science, probably most cleaners do a good job. During the recent rainstorm, I contacted Fox to clean the gutters. Joci, the owner is a joy to work with. He emailed the quote to me within a few hours and scheduled an appointment within a few days. His crew was prompt, professional, and cleaned up after. The day after the gutters were cleaned, rain water was pouring down the front of the house. I called Joci immediately since another rainstorm was coming. He came out personally the next day to inspect the gutters and patched all the leaks, for no additional charges. How rare is that ! For some reason, my online request didn't get answered, but as soon as I called the phone number, I had the best service! I live out of town and needed the gutters cleaned at the house that my mother owns and my daughter lives in. They gave me an estimate within a day or two and were on the job as soon as I accepted it.
