They got most of the spot out (I dropped said scarf on the floor so it was a lovely black stain) and were able to correct some of the pressing that happened. Although I selected them based on the ease of walking there from where I stay, there were two options in the vicinity. Westwood had the better ratings on Yelp. I was satisfied. I have no reason to go elsewhere. I don't have more to report, because a dry cleaner is utilitarian. I want to be a regular. This is where I will do that. I'll post again if anything changes.

The story; my husband purchased a Canada Goose coat for me 2 years ago. To replace my old North Face which I had been keeping since high school (I'm 39 now), which John has also dry cleaned for me in the past. Last year I took the coat in after winter was over maybe wearing it 5-10 times tops! I picked it up several months later as I don't live in the area and my office moved to the other side of Bethesda (near Montgomery mall). Never bothered to look at it, which is my fault until about 3 weeks ago (it's been a very mild winter) I took it out to wear and noticed that the lining of the coat was grey (black coat) and looked like it got way too much heat as if it was pressed. This was in the lining of the sleeves and pockets. I called and John said he needed to see it. I came in so he can take a look and I've never been so disrespected by a man in my life! He yelled at me repeatedly saying me my coat was worn out, and that he didn't want to hear my bull shit and walked away! Why on earth after giving you my money for over 10 years would I lie about a coat! I don't think Canada Goose would be in such high demand if a coat looked like that after a handful of times being worn. He was incredibly rude and didn't want to take any responsibility. Completely ruined a $600 + jacket, and had no empathy whatsoever. See you in small claims court John. You messed with the wrong one! In march 2015, i took a $3000 YSL leather jacket for a cleaning. when i picked it up the leather coat shrunk significantly. i asked Mrs. Kim for refund on the cleaning cost, and $1000 store credit, since the jacket was used, and i liked their work. She initially claimed jacket was like that, but i produced photos of me in jacket, and she then promised to stretch it back to original. Two weeks later, the stretching did not work, and i asked for a store credit again, Mrs. Kim refused, and gave me the phone number of Bruno, a leather specialist in NJ that cleaned my coat. Bruno asked me for all information and photos, which he received, and then he stopped answering my calls. However on April 27, 2015, i received a very unbiased letter from Nacional Cleaners Association stating that in their opinion my jacket was cleaned properly, and they don't know how my coat went from size 44 to size 40. On June 12, 2015, i wrote a letter to President Valet II, i demanded payment for $1999, which was current Ebay price for this jacket, and advised them of my intentions to sue in small claims court and to contact consumer protection agencies. Today i stopped in to pick up another batch of dry-cleaning, which i paid for, and i asked the status of my claim. Mrs Kim advised that she filed an insurance claim, but could not tell me when and how much i will be paid. i tried to explain to her that she needs to pay me regardless, and deal with the insurance claim later. And then Mr. Kim came out from the back... Mr. Jeong He Kim in a raised voice told me that he is done talking to me and done reading my letters and in an aggressive manner asked me to leave.
