Grabbed a green tea from here and had a great experience. First, there are a bunch of parking spots right outside. I had no problem parking and it was reasonably busy in Foxtail. The seats were comfy and the cashier was polite and helpful. I was impressed by how large the space was as well. I ordered a green tea and it was brewed quickly. They didn't ask me how I wanted it (hot or cold) and gave it to me cold, which was a little surprising because I actually wanted it hot :) But the weather was scorching outside so I kind of get it. My wife liked her decaf latte as well. Overall, I'd definitely come back here to hang out, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and maybe try out the food! read more

This place is large with great seating varieties and have some quality coffee. I usually drink my coffee black, but this time I had their seasonal special "cold brew old fashioned" (~$6) and it was amazing. It really had the right notes, bitterness, and the perfect amount of sweetness. It resembled a coffee rather than a coffee flavored beverage. I appreciated the craft and the flavor profile. Great coffee spot in Apex. Awesome vibe and lots of activity. They have couches in and out with lots of other seating. The outdoor area is covered and there was a minimal breeze. They offer wonderful selections of cold and hot teas and different types of coffees, including café con Leche, and cold Cuban coffee. They offer goodies you can snack on and get breakfast too. Overall, the place is nice. The barista that took my order was so helpful and recommended one of their signature iced teas and I absolutely loved it. Came here on Sunday with friends, what a cute coffee shop! The interior is very cute- a huge mural with wood furniture/tables. They have a good size menu with breakfast and lunch items. I got a butterscotch iced latte with oat-milk- delicious! We also got the egg bites which were a little too dry and not flavorful. The croissant egg and cheese sandwich, however, was super tasty! Overall, a very nice coffee shop. We will be back to try more! read more

The matcha is to die for, the lattes are delicious. The oatmeal crème pie used to be listed as vegan on the menu but it's not anymore so I have stopped ordering it- it's very good but since it's no longer labeled I just don't want to take the chance! read more

Came here on a Sunday morning and the place was busy! Nice options for breakfast sandwiches and coffee and teas. There's also a variety of ice cream flavors. Just made my second visit to Foxtail, so it felt like the perfect time to drop a review. This place is 100% welcoming--super friendly staff and a beautifully designed space. There's plenty of seating, both indoors and out, and it's dog-friendly, which is always a win. The Wi-Fi? Fast and reliable.Parking? Plentiful and easy. I'm a pretty simple coffee drinker, so I stuck with a black coffee. It was solid--nothing to write home about--but at $3.25, it's a bit on the pricey side. That said, they do offer one free refill per visit, which helps balance things out. Will I be back? Absolutely. It's a great spot to chill, work, or meet up with friends (and pups). read more

I love the vibe and coffee at Foxtail! I came in on a rainy day and it was packed. All the seats on the outdoor patio were taken and full of bustling conversations as well as inside. They offer coffee drinks, loose leaf tea, pastries and gelato. I opted for a cappuccino and it was served in the cutest plant motif paper cup. I went out on a whim and tried the cold brew old-fashioned because of a positive yelp review and it was strange at first but I ended up really liking it! We were only driving through Apex, so I didn't get to try the gelato (which looks great) but it was packed in there! Maybe try to avoid busy hours, but there is lots of seating. read more

Great addition to the area. The variety of coffee offerings is quite nice, sticking a tad more to more traditional coffees that tastes quite decent (got a doppio espresso). The gelato looked fantastic so I will have to try that out next time. The service was friendly and prompt. Prices were fair though leaning a tad on the pricier side especially for plain black coffees. The interior was also quite nice, spacious and clean. There was plenty of seating available, whether you are a group or solo trying to get some work done, there is suitable seating for everybody with sockets for charging avialalbe everywhere. There was even a very nice outdoor seating area as well. Also quite appreciated that they offered some freshly roasted beans in a variety of blends, origins, and roast levels. read more

There will be more development in this area. The vibe is chill. Not overpowering lights (no it's not dark in there), friendly staff and PLENTY of seating both inside & out. The decor is fabulous and inviting and the place was packed as patrons huddled inside in the warmth on this cold day, and really lended a lively ambiance. Foxtail Coffee Co has their first location in North Carolina in Apex. It's a cute spot and I really like the outdoor space. It can get crowded so be prepared to wait. The longer line was a little bit confusing since there was no structure as to where it should go. I did like browsing the merchandise while standing in line. My husband grabbed a bag of coffee beans for home. For our drinks and food It was the egg, ham and cheese croissant with an iced chai latte for me and turkey sausage bagel sandwich with a latte for my husband. The food was not good, my sandwich was messy and the bagel was rock hard but I liked my chai. I'll have to return soon once it is more established and to try their gelato. read more

Not a bad coffee shop but not my favorite either-- the ambiance was really cute inside and I loved the outdoor patio as well. It's definitely a great place to work which a lot of people were there doing. The service was good and the staff was nice. I tried a few of the ice cream flavors, the raspberry cheesecake was my favorite but I ended up getting an affogato flight. I loved the original flight flavor the most, I also tried the lemon affogato which was super tart and I would suggest a different flavor. The coffee was not bad but quite forgettable, we tried the pistachio matcha and a coconut mocha. They were good but I wouldn't come back. It is great to find a place that has both good specialty drinks as well as a simple cup of coffee. The online ordering system works wonderfully and saves a lot of time. Great outdoor patio to get some work done with fresh air. Only downside would be the same as any coffee shop these days with pricing, especially on specialty coffees. read more

This was my first time trying a Foxtail Coffee and I really enjoyed it! I ordered a 24oz iced butterscotch oat latte with cheesy egg bites. Everything was delicious! The workers were very friendly. The shop is very spacious but still has a cozy vibe. They also have a large covered patio with plenty of seating options. The shop is also very dog friendly - dogs are allowed inside and the patio, and they make special dog treats as well! There is free wifi so it is a great spot to work as well. Love the ambience of this chain coffee shop. Really wish we could get a coffee shop in Apex that serves dine-in coffee in a real cup instead of paper. Had the Vanilla Caramel Cold Brew and it was just ok. If you like it with milk, you will need to tell them that because they won't ask. The female part of the staff is never welcoming they're pretty rude and look at you like you have a 3rd head. The men who work here are way more personable and professional. What a great addition to the downtown Apex area! The quality of the coffee drinks is fantastic and the gelato is delicious. We have been there a few times now and have had lattes, nitro cold brew and affogatos, all of which were top notch, and the atmosphere is great as well. Some of the drinks may take a little longer to prepare due to the care that is taken, which is quite acceptable in my opinion considering the quality. The staff and the owner are very attentive - my wife is gluten intolerant and the owner thoroughly explained all of the precautions they take to ensure there is no cross contamination. Vibe was great. I ordered hot chocolate with xtra chocolate. Got it pretty quickly. But it was neither hot nor chocolatey. A fellow customer mentioned the same thing about the lack of chocolate in their drink.
