    Gelato case.

New coffee place in Dunwoody at Ashford Lane, right at the roundabout. Great place to meet with friends for food, gelato and more. Martin and I came here after he wanted to check this place out and get a coffee, but we both ended up ordering the lemon and mint tea. We were greeted very warmly when we walked through the door. I love the layout of this new business. There are many tables and chairs; however, if you need to plug in an electronic device for charging purposes, the long counters along the front and side windows have charging towers, each with three electrical outlets, a USB A port and two USB C ports. Since it was already dark outside, I'm sure that this place is always bright, with natural light during the day and bright lights inside at night. All the employees were welcoming, friendly and helpful. One of the employees was a corporate trainer, ensuring this franchise was following corporate procedures. We were the only two customers for a while, taking pics while sipping our teas, and two more customers came in an ordered some gelato. One the menu there were many types of drinks, so I'm pretty sure that there is something for everyone who visits. Today was opening day. Congratulations to the crew at Foxtail Coffee Co.! I hope you do well!

First time at Foxtail coffee and I'm glad I chose this brand new location. It's very spacious, I came with 2 more friends and our drinks and pastries were pretty delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a place where you can easily work remotely, it's comfortable, lightning is good and it has several seating areas and power outlets. It's casual and quiet. I definitely will be coming back.

This based on the first day of business and my first encounter. After having dinner across the street at Tin Drum, I noticed that a new coffee shop had opened in the old Panera location at Ashford crossing. I walked in and was immediately greeting warmly. I asked if they had just opened and said that today was their first day of business. Since I'm feeling a bit ill, I decided to try out their lemon mint tea with honey. From checking in, I saw that there are other locations but I needed to add this one. This feels like a family business and the seating area is nice and comfortable. The large windows give you a great view of the traffic circle. I plan to come back and try out the other coffees.

I am so glad that this coffee shop is in Dunwoody! It's so cute and cozy. As soon as I ordered my coffee, it was being made instantly and was ready as soon as I walked to find a seat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was very tasty and delicious. I'm only drinking decaf at the moment and I loved that all the espressos were able to be made as decaf. I sat in the coffee shop for hours as I waited for my dog to finish his grooming appointment nearby and truly enjoyed the ambience.

I got the matcha tiramisu latte and the black sesame tiramisu latte. They both had strong flavor and were creamy. I also got the American Wagyu, shrimp katsu, crispy spicy tuna, salmon avocado temakis. I got the temakis to-go so Iiked how the seaweed wrap was separated from everything so it didn't get soggy before eating. They were all good but the standout was the American Wagyu which was so flavorful and tender!

I've heard amazing things about Cuddlefish where I recently learned they had a cafe with their own…read morepastries and drinks. I saw a lot of social media about their hand roll (temaki) omakase and lunch special. Apparently, the quality and foundation of Cuddlefish has changed quite a lot within the past couple years. The prices have gone up, their staff busier than ever. There is free parking in the parking garage around the corner, which is super nice. It's less than a 5 min walk with plenty of spaces. The area is fairly nice because in winter, there's a roller skating ring, ice cream place (Ben and Jerry's), and cafe (Rosetta). Generally, you can make lunch or dinner reservations here, which I HIGHLY recommend as a CYA. There are outdoor and indoor seating, as well as temaki bar seating for if you choose to do the temaki omakase. If you do the omakase, make sure to arrive on time because the dishes are made in order by the chefs for everyone. It's every Monday and Tuesday for $79. When we arrived in the early afternoon for lunch, we were told it would be a 40 min wait and that we would be notified via text when a table opened up. However, we wound up waiting an hour before we were seated -- in fact at a time that was empty the entire time we were waiting. Our server came by once to say she was going to give us water (another person did) and to take our order. After that, she never even looked our way to our table or checked in with us. I'm not even sure that that blonde lady was even in charge of our table anymore at this point. I'm sure the place was dying down in terms of business because they were no longer seating people or accepting reservations. I think it's unprofessional to forget about your tables and to quite literally have a conversation with everyone else aside from your tables and not even glance in their direction. The lunch special includes 3 selected handrolls, cucumber salad, taiwanese popcorn chicken, and daily house dessert. I think it's super cute and fresh that they wrap their nori in a plastic wrapper to preserve the nori freshness and crispness. There's also the spicy tuna hosomaki with rice pearls, but it was a LOT of rice and overpowered by the crunch off the rice pearls. The cucumber salad was simple with a soy sauce based marinade. I think the cucumber slices were thin and tad flimsy, lacking crunch. The taiwanese chicken nuggets were abundant (priced normally at $10), good crunch with a hint of flavor from the basil. The dessert was actually quite delicious! It was like a soft moist peach cobbler in a muffin shape. It was sweet, moist, and flavorful -- as a great plating ended. Here were the 3 temakis starting with the best: yellowtail salsa, salmon + cucumbers, and shrimp katsu. The shrimp katsu had an overwhelming amount of fruits (pineapple and cantaloupe), and I feel like the katsu needed a bit of sauce to make sure it wasn't too dry. The pieces also quickly fell because of how small they were. The yellowtail overall had better flavor, especially with the toppings adding a bit of crunch. I think the lunch special would be worth trying as a newcomer, but it took 25-30 min for it to even come out. At the end, I think the fryer or machine broke but the hostess continued to seat people. So even people with reservations were turned away due to needing to reset the kitchen. I think now theres a lot of stipulations on their omakase and happy hour. For omakase, you're only allowed to order 3 at a time with one from each category and 2 hour limit, automatically combined with a 20% gratuity. Happy hour special is only Wed-Thurs 2-7pm with selected $5 temaki rolls and drink specials. It's supposed to give a very modern vibe. You are, in fact, given a QR code to pay.

I was super excited to finally get a REAL coffee shop in the neighborhood, especially since I have loved their Alpharetta location since 2020. Since then, I've been back a few times to meet friends for a cup of coffee or grab a bag of whole beans to go to make my own espresso at home! It's not the cheapest bag of beans but it's definitely freshly roasted and good quality! I love their seasonal bevs - I've tried their fall drinks like the Tokyo Drift (Applewood smoked cortado, orange blossom syrup, freshly grated nutmeg, orange peel) and the Spice is Right (Iced, spicy, creamy, coffee cocktail vibe with cold brew, hot honey syrup, vanilla bean and milk). You can easily sub out alternate milks, even on the seasonal specialty drinks. I appreciate the themes and play on the seasons. And also just simple but delicious drinks like the Nitro Lavender Vanilla Oat Latte. The seating can be a huge issue. I seem to always stumble in during peak, maybe? There seems to be plenty of space but no seating/tables. Many tables for 2 or 4 would be taken by 1-2 people studying/working all day, which is understandable but still frustrating. There is some outdoor seating (dog friendly, woohoo!) but is extremely vulnerable to the elements. Overall, I'm grateful for more local and noncommercial coffee shops in Dunwoody! Bring em on!!

I think the drink itself is pretty good, kind of standard, but don't take this review to heart since I am not an oat/dairy milk drinker. The actual place is really cute and nice for hanging out with friends. There are plenty of outlets, water, wifi, and restrooms so if you need to do work you can! There are small tables and one larger table. Mellow jazz music plays in the background and there is one overhead fan so the temperature is just right. It is very much a minimalist type of atmostphere kind of gives me safari vibes because of the beige and tan accents with some greenery. Parking is free and always available in the big parking lot shared by all of the businesses in Abernathy Square. No matter which employee has been at the counter taking orders and making the drinks, they've always been quick, efficient, accurate, courteous and helpful with information about the drinks. A variety of teas, lemonades and smoothies are on the menu, which is displayed on easy to read monitors on the wall behind the prep area. There are two benches to sit on in the well lit space while waiting for your order, and no tables or chairs are available, so there's no opportunity to sit and work or visit with others. While you're waiting, you can walk a few steps over into the neighboring Japanese restaurant and decide whether you want to expand your drink break into a full fledged meal. My favorite boba tea is the Bubble Milk Black Tea, with 30% sweetness and less ice. In the many times I've had boba in drinks here, the boba has always had a good consistent chew. The drinks are in firm plastic cups with snap on lids, so the little ones can accidentally (or purposely) squeeze the cups and there won't be too much damage done to your vehicle upholstery on the way home, although if they drop or throw the cup on the floor it'll most likely be game over. Decent drink prices.
