We were driving through Lake Nona and I've never been to this location so I had to jump out and order something. First of all...what a cool location! I love the art and the high roofs. The staff was beyond friendly. My purple hair barista was awesome. She suggested a lavender oat drink for me and I trusted her idea and it was amazing. Every sip in my car brought a smile to my face. I also got a cake pop for my son. It was huge compared to other coffee shops. It did fall apart but my son loved it none the less. They are taking Covid very seriously with mask required and hand sanitizer by the counter. They are even selling it. Overall loved my coffee and would come back for more. read more

We have watched the renovation progress and were excited to have a coffee shop in walking distance of our house. The space is very nicely decorated and was very clean. It was a little chaotic inside but chalked that up to it being their first day. The staff were very friendly and ordering was easy. We ordered an Americano, a London Fog, a Bagel, a Choclate Croissant, and a cookie. The total was about $35 which is a little high but not ridiculous for a nice coffee shop. Even though there were only two small orders ahead of us it took almost twenty minutes to get our order. Again chalked this up to it being day one. When we did get our order we were extremely disappointed. The bagel was so hard it was like croutons. The croissant was gummy. The Americano was basically coffee scented warm water and the London Fog was also very watered down. We ended up throwing most of the drinks away. On bright note the cookie was really good. For the price point I expected so much better. We might go back and give it a second chance since it is so convenient for us but will definitely give it a while. read more

I'm usually all for foxtail's matcha drinks but boy is it different post quarantine. I do like the safety they have going on with the covering the lid but do not order the matcha. You will just taste whole milk. Since it was online ordering and I went to just pick up, I didn't get to try it until I was already home. Ahhh. This is one of my go-to coffee shops! I'm actually interested in trying out different locations. Sometimes it's a hit or miss on the chai latte but, this time the barista made it perfectly They are kind and chill workers though, sometimes you have to wait a bit to give your order. I think they need two-three people making drinks and one just taking orders. I enjoy that they partner with the apartment building next door for extra seating, a bathroom, etc. they also have plenty of street parking on the side and a covered garage! read more

This is a very cute coffee shop in the Lake Nona area of Orlando. It's a very peaceful, chill place adjacent to an apartment lobby where people were quietly working on their laptops. I came here for a quick pick me up and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had the option to add lavender bitters or orange bitters to the espresso for a café latte. I don't see too many of that option in the cafés near where I live. Therefore, since I do have lavender bitters, almond milk, and an espresso machine at home I've already "borrowed" their recipe for this (thanks for the idea!) ;) It was good! read more

I mainly come here for chai tea because its one of the bests but their coffee is pretty good a little too strong for me since I normally prefer cuban coffee but if you like your coffee strong this is the place. I normally go to the Lake Nona location and its usually understaffed and with a long wait line but their customer service is great and very fast! read more

I've been visiting Foxtail since they opened their first location near my former office in Winter Park, and from that moment I have been hooked! What I love about Foxtail is that their coffee is fresh, the beans are sourced ethically, and their staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Big fan. Possibly bias because I live down the street and have become quite the regular, but their lattes are delish and I would take them over Starbucks any day of the week. Their PSL just recently came out (sold out at one point which was a bummer at the time), and it's heavenly. I'm big on low sugar concoctions, and they accommodate very well. Pre-COVID, the Pixon area was open where one could grab a drink and relax with a book or laptop at your preferred cozy little section. Super chill. Highly suggest trying an iced latte with oat milk, lavender bitters and a pinch of vanilla. You won't be disappointed, that's a promise. read more

The coffee and the ambience is pretty good but the service, on this particular Saturday was subpar. I ordered a iced latte and really didn't care for it. I asked the cashier if I could replace it. He asked his manager, and the manager begrudgingly said yes. The barista replaced it with a hot latte, and I kindly said, I'm sorry, it's supposed to be iced. This seemed to make her angry as she made the iced latte and gave it to me. No acknowledgment, no apologies. As I was leaving out the store, I turned around and noticed them looking and saying something under her breath to another colleague. Cute location. Ok coffee. Convenient to get to the airport. Arrived at the airport ahead of my group of friends and was looking for a place to hang before picking back them back up in the rental car. This place is about 12 mins away. It had plenty of parallel street parking when I went but it was still early (around 8am) This coffee spot is under a hotel or some sort of resident building so there is a lot of foot traffic that comes through. It's in a pretty hip part of town and appears to be a local chain. Their cups and concept is cute. The decor is modern. It was clean and had plenty of seating when I went. I didn't try anything too crazy. I went with a regular cold brew and it was ok. Nothing crazy about it and it wasn't terrible. read more

Checked out the newest franchise of foxtail this morning and was a little underwhelmed. It was busy which is always a good sign. We ordered two drinks, two sandwiches, and a donut and were told they would be right out, implying to take a seat. The barista brought over one of the drinks but then the other drink came out at the bar and we could barely hear over the crowd. The two sandwiches came out at the bar too but the donut came out at the register (which I only discovered because I noticed it sitting there and had to ask if it was ours) It seemed really unorganized and we would have been happy to wait at the bar for our drinks and food if we'd been instructed to do so. My boyfriend tried the vanilla caramel cold brew and it was delicious! I got a plain hot latte, my staple, and the espresso was burnt which made the whole latte taste bitter and I barely drank it. The donut was amazing, it was a big chewy donut with chocolate icing and a huge glob of espresso icing in the center- it was worth the hassle! The breakfast sandwiches were good, nothing to write home about, similar to some chains they come prepackaged so you can't make any modifications. I tried the egg and cheese biscuit and my boyfriend got the chicken croissant. Parking is tricky, there's some street parking, but you best bet is to park across the street at the town center garage and cross the street! The shop is decently sized but narrow, but it spills out into the lobby of "Pixon" and they have comfy seating and more tables. read more

I frequent this Foxtail location almost every Saturday because I love to read with a craft cold brew and a lot of natural lighting. There is ample seating, and the location is artfully decorated. Pictured is their original cold brew with vanilla flavor and cream for $6. While their cold brew is excellent, the Cafe Con Leche is my favorite drink on the menu. They have delicious baked goods as well, including banana bread and quiche. The staff here is friendly and coffee competent. A bonus is that they have outdoor seating with a water bowl for dogs! read more

Every single time I'm here-- which is almost daily, the staff are so great. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always have a back-up option or suggestion to try if they're out or short on a specific product. I have not had a poor experience here or with any of the baristas. In fact, I've taken the time to notice the fast work and stellar customer service while in the midst of pure chaos during busy times, with the line waiting outside the door. On the flip, I've seen them work diligently to keep all areas clean, sanitized and tidy when the shop is slow or after a major rush. An analogy that comes to mind is: like ducks, they are calm on the surface, but below they are paddling like crazy. I just don't think they get enough credit for being genuinely kind, being personable all while working under busy conditions & being short-staffed. Easily the best coffee shop in the Lake Nona area. Foxtail is a well-known chain in the greater Orlando area. Think much better than Starbucks but a shade lower than blue bottle. I've always enjoyed this location because there are few other good coffee shops in Lake Nona. From matcha drinks to lattes to Ethiopian brews, you can get any type of coffee that you would like here. There's always ample seating given the fact that you can also sit in the Pixon apartment complex lobby, which is very nice. Otherwise, the location can get crowded as it is the main coffee shop in the whole Tavistock/laureate park area. The shop is structured as one really long hallway with seating around 15-25 comfortably in the shop alone. Parking is located in a parking structure behind the building or on the street if you can get it. The drinks are decent, but there's been more than one time when I've had to ask for a replacement because he was either too sweet or there is too watery. The baristas have always been super nice though and have always made sure that I'm happy at the end of the day. The decor is super nice and there's even outdoor seating! I would definitely call ahead to order if you are a regular as I've had to wait as long as 10 to 20 minutes during peak times. read more

I come here because it's the best, smoothest coffee in the southern Orlando area and the atmosphere is artsy and inspiring. Highly recommend their drip coffee if you like smooth coffee! They'll even ask you whether you want a light, medium, or dark roast which is what really sets this place apart. When I visited my friends in Orlando, she said Foxtail was a must for breakfast! It did not disappoint for sure! Definitely a must visit if you live in town or are just visiting. For breakfast, I got an English muffin with eggs, cheese and ham (Canadian bacon) and a tall dark roast coffee. The coffee was smooth and flavorful. After it cooled down a bit, I drank it so quickly that it was gone in minutes. My breakfast sandwich was super juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite! The space itself has a clean, warm and welcoming vibe with all of the wood tones, natural light and bright tiles. It is joined with an apartment complex that has a lot of modern seating, gaming areas including a ping pong table and a coffee table with Pong programmed into it! Overall, Foxtail is a great place to run in and grab a quick bite and coffee or stop and spend some time catching up with friends and getting some work done! It is a little more expensive, but I always believe there is a reason to Treat Yo Self! read more

The location is craaazyyy cool! It's a small location because it's adjacent to a residential building in Lake Nona which is becoming a very trendy place. I'm thrilled that Foxtail is closer to home because I've heard their coffee is good. I was bold and went with a cappuccino with oat milk. Not crazy about the choice I made but the coffee is not bad at all. Will def come back to try other options such as Siphon, French Press and Pour over. The croissant was good too. Nice and toasty just how I like it. Service was great! They are friendly, courteous and helpful when I could not decide what I wanted. We will give it a 4 because I was not too crazy about the coffee per se. It tasted a bit burnt. But that gives me a chance to come back! read more

Great location in Lake Nona, nice to sit outside and enjoy beautiful weather especially during COVID. I've only been here a few times. I think for the price it's just not worth it. I spent over $6 (with tax and tip) for a large latte and didn't even get the latte art and my husband makes a creamier latte at home in my opinion. I personally would rather go to 407 Cafe or Vanessa's for better service, wider variety of menu options, and better prices. read more

The coffee shop itself is very nice and swanky on the inside, but the coffee and tea left a bit to be desired. I initially tried to order a flight of the cold brew coffee, but they said they didn't do flights even though it was on the menu. I went with an Ethiopian pour over which smelled good, but the notes were flat and bland. And for $5 I expected a little more care. My wife ordered a chai latte which was just chai concentrate that was way too spicy and sweet which I expect from a Starbucks, not a specialty coffee shop.
