Easily one of the best coffees I had in Orlando. Quick trip for business and needed a coffee joint before the conference began. While I easily could have just gotten Dunkin or something close, the reviews of Foxtail enticed me to go. Ten miles out of the way and in a brand new, super cool little shop, Foxtail crushed it. I have been frequenting foxtail in the mornings for about 6 months now but will likely stop going after the experiences I have had over the past month. The staff used to be really friendly and there's a lot of new faces now which is concerning to me as it seems the older employees agree it has gone downhill lately. Woman who works in the morning with short dirty blonde hair has taken my order/made my drink multiple times in the past few weeks wearing a tank top and flip flops which is not a great look in food service. Drinks are inconsistent and the cleanliness is seriously lacking. I've found pieces of mold (?) or dirt in my ice water before and have started only getting hot drinks because of it. This place used to rock, not sure if they've undergone new management or something recently but it has been consistently off for a while now. Sad read more

It was our first time visiting here the coffee was great so was our breakfast sandwich. I will have to say the staff was extremely miserable and did not make us feel very welcome. The attitude they had made it seem like we were an inconvenience to them. I watched the one individual treat the customers behind us in line with attitude as well. I understand we all have bad days but they all seemed very miserable. New to the area and was excited for there to be a local shop to get a good matcha. I was disappointed to realize it was not a true matcha, it was almost grey in color and wasn't a vibrant green and tasted like it had SO much sugar with a ton of milk. It tasted like a fake matcha that came from a bought bag. You're also losing out on all the benefits of green tea if it's not the legit stuff. If they ever change to culinary grade matcha powder I will definitely come back, but what they are using now is not typically expected for a local shop with high quality coffee and tea. read more

I tried Foxtail for the first time today. Got an orange bitters doppio and a breakfast sandwich. I came mid-day, so it wasn't terribly busy everything came out relatively quickly. I give it 2 stars pretty much for the quality of food/drinks. The espresso does have orange bitters, so I appreciate that, however the espresso's natural flavors itself were terrible, it tasted stale and had no crema; a sign of stale/old coffee. The breakfast sandwich I got was premade and tossed in a toaster (not unlike what a certain large coffee chain does). In my case, my sandwich came overcooked, so most parts of it were rock hard. The location is otherwise nice, and I'm sure a popular spot for people to meet up/work a little, if it were not COVID times. read more

There's nice seating inside and outside. Cool and decorative coffee shop much needed in the area. I'm giving it two stars because I really don't like their drinks. I've gotten everything from lattes, teas and cold brew. They all just don't taste right. Last time I went I just got a regular iced coffee and the milk was chunky...pretty sure it went bad so I returned it. All drinks I've gotten have been $6-7 which is pretty pricey for coffee. My regular iced coffee with no milk- (added the milk myself), was $5.50. I think that's pretty high. I got a cold brew last week that cost $7. Way too much! The employees are great and very helpful. My problem is not the place or employees. It's the lack of taste from the drinks and the price point. read more

I came in on my morning cycle ride to get coffee. and said good morning to "the Girl with the green in her hair " she said nothing and staring at me like I didn't exist. After I said it again another girl "very nice" greeted me and took my order. After she took my order the "green hair girl " continue to comment about some thing regarding me as she was looking back at me smirking. At least that's how I felt because of the initial interaction with her. The reason for me leaving this review is in hopes to not have someone that comes there regularly feel the uncomfortableness that I did when I left the place. I rode 37 miles and still after I felt it was important to take time to write this review. The coffe is excellent with several interesting options that set it apart from any other place I can think of, and I love coffe and work hard at checking out interesting Yelp recommended places wherever I go. The store itself is gorgeous and the service is impeccable. I also appreciated the beautiful reusable real dishes used to serve the coffe and food items. Dropped or star because I was hoping this would be an excellent coffe + snack option but unfortunately there a microwave involved in the making of my otherwise beautiful breakfast sandwich. There is a limited option on pastries but they all looked beautiful and fresh so I recommend skipping the breakfast sandwiches and enjoying everything else. read more

Went there today to see what all the hype was about and was sooo disappointed. It started with bad service the minute we walked in. No one looks at or you let alone smile. Its like they could care less if you are there or not. The matcha and chai tea were terrible. We ordered a bakery item and paid for it. It they never bothered to let us know they were all out.
