Lavender syrup or lavender bitters? Bitters because bitters make me less bitter. This is the best place for bitters in your coffee. I got the Caffe Latte with skim milk (yup, can't handle whole milk like that), sugar free vanilla and the delish lavender bitters and to eat, the egg, ham and cheese croissant. Looking back at my other review for the San Marco location I got the same sammy. Still tasted the same, still very good so was the drink. I was very happy. We really enjoyed our experience at Foxtail Coffee's relatively new location at the Sawgrass Village shopping center in Ponte Vedra Beach. We were staying at the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn, needed coffee, and walked over. This cafe is conveniently-located if you happen to be staying at the same hotel. We were in town for a wedding and recommended Foxtail to our friends who were also staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. My wife and I got a regular Salted Caramel Mocha Latte ($5.92) and a regular Pumpkin Spice Latte ($5.67) with Almond Milk ($0.75). The prices shown here are before tax and tip. Both drinks were well-made, tasted high-quality and delicious, and hit the spot. If we lived or worked nearby, I could definitely see us being regulars. Foxtail roasts their own coffee (at an offsite facility) and offers a variety of espresso drinks, brewed-to-order coffee (e.g., French press, pour-over, siphon), cold and "fresh" (hot) brewed coffee, and tea. They also sell whole beans, beer and wine (happy hour is 4-6pm), and ice cream (next to the coffee counter is Kelly's Ice Cream Counter). In addition, during our visit, they had a small selection of all-day breakfast items in a display case (e.g., bagels, croissants, muffins). They actually had taps of cold brew coffee, which I'm not sure I'd ever seen before. Along with single servings, you could get cold brew in bottles ($5 each or $25 for a six-pack) and half-gallon growlers ($20). I'm not sure I'd seen coffee growlers before either, but I'm not a coffee connoisseur. Service was great. The female barista who helped us was polite and did an excellent job preparing our drinks. We visited around 5:15pm on an ordinary Thursday. The cafe was quiet at that time and there was no wait. We were one of only three parties present. Foxtail seems to have everything well thought-out, from the interior and exterior design of the cafe to details like their branded cups and nice-quality lids. They don't skimp. This is an above-average coffee shop brand. The cafe here looks fantastic, from the outside in. The inside has a really cool modern-rustic look with lots of distressed wood and beautiful Edison lighting. There's a neat nook, along the storefront, for groups of up to four. The atmosphere is such that you can bring a laptop to work/study. There's outdoor patio seating too. Absolutely love this coffee shop! The employees are amazingly helpful & nice. It was very quick and efficient, I got my drink about 2-3 minutes after ordering. I got the nitro cold brew in the largest size. The size of the large iced coffee is perfect, not too small and not too large. The shop is beautifully decorated as well. The only downside is that it's very small so there's not a whole lot of room for somebody to sit down and study/work. Foxtail seems to be a very inconsistent coffee establishment. At some of the locaitons, the cappuccinos are perfect, microfoam incorporated into the moderately hot milk with some latte art. At others, like this Ponte Vedra location, it's just hot milk with a bunch of dry foam piled on top. Please work on consistency so we can all be sure that we'll get the same great product at every location and so I don't have to look elsewhere for a good classic cappuccino. . Ambience is great. It's crazy to even leave a one star review but after the experience I just witness from the 3 barista's.. I had to let others know that you will be judged based on your coffee order. I order a latte with 3 different flavors into it on Friday August 15th at around 8:35am. It's kind of like an almond joy flavor with coconut, mocha and hazelnut. They don't offer speciality coffees like your ma and pop store so I have to create it myself. I walked in right before my drink was done and I just saw the girls laughing and point at my order. I could tell it was my order as I could see the ticket. The barista making my drink points down at the ticket and says "this is something that would give someone an aneurysm!" While the other one said "we should send this to so & so and see what he thinks" just laughing and laughing. Laughing so hard she couldn't even get my name out of her mouth and hunched over to give me my order. It's a crazy concept of laughing at what someone's order is actually fair fetched, but these girls know and must love to judge any and all clientele. Came here after two young ladies at my doctors office stated this was the best coffee around. Cute corner shop, good ambiance, place was packed by happy customers, my drink came out quick except it was prepared cold and I am not a cold coffee person, they noticed I was confused and asked if it needed to be hot, I said yes, they went to take the cold one away but asked if i wanted it, I took it and once I sipped it I told the barista not to worry making a hot one, the drink was delicious! This place is a chain originally from Orlando (from what I can tell). I tried it down there after touring UCF, loved it there, and was excited for it to come closer to Jacksonville. The coffee is excellent, and they also offer ice cream and affogato. The vibes are immaculate in this place. The fresh brewed coffee was very good and I also ordered a blueberry muffin which wasn't as good as the coffee. 3 stars since it is more expensive than other coffee shops and the food wasn't as good as expected for the higher price. I paid $3.69 for a 16oz Large coffee (without tax) and almost $4.00 for a blueberry muffin. Their 16oz Large coffee is equivalent to a Grande 16oz coffee at Starbucks which is $2.95. So, the same coffee here is almost $1 more than what you'll pay at Starbucks. The muffin didn't taste fresh and homemade but more like it was bought en masse from Costco. I also didn't see a rewards program for frequent customers. The interior is very nice and they have a good selection of breakfast items, ice cream and snacks. The baristas were very professional and welcoming. Overall, it's a nice new coffee shop at the beach but be prepared to pay for the higher prices. read more

I am a foxtail coffee. Fan. I am however disappointed with this location. The drink we got was not tasting like coffee at all. So I asked to be remade. The baristas just re heated it and froth it again. Once the coffee is mixed with the milk it will not froth right. I just send them back they offer to make them again but they already had their chance. We also got a banana bread and asked for it to be reheated but they said the ovens are off. It was at least an hour and a half before the scheduled close. I guess they were ready to leave. Sad really it is a great brand just a terrible experience. Oh and I didn't get a refund either after I returned the coffee for the second time just left was not even offered the option. #badservice. read more
