A ravishing resort with an assortment of fun activities, food, and fun for everyone! Coming here, I expected to only see an array of slot machines, but I was so wrong. While the casinos are entertaining and take up a good portion of the building, this resort also has so many stores and restaurants that give it a real mall feel. There is also more than enough parking with both self-park and valet options. The parking accommodates everyone, with plentiful handicap spots and easy access to elevators. We traveled here from out of state and had no problems finding a spot. From inside the mall, we also had no problems finding our way back. The staff is also very helpful and is always ready to guide you to your destination. If you're coming with a family, I'd definitely suggest arriving some time in the morning, as the mall does start getting crowded around noon time. We spent most of our time exploring in the Fox Tower and Grand Pequot casino areas, as well as indulging in Tanger Outlets. The casinos are pretty much all slots and it is a chill environment in the morning time. There is definitely a neon and fruit/candy theme going here, which looks super aesthetic to the eye. There are also poker tables, which were not used in the morning time. I noticed that there wasn't much of a difference between the Fox and Pequot casinos, so you're pretty much getting the same thing no matter which area you're in. You'll find the cheapest slot machines start at one cent. Aside from the slots, there is a big variety of stores in the mall. There is everything ranging from name brands to alternative stores. There are also a few candy stores with lots of yummy treats. Prices range throughout but there is nothing too crazy. Overall, we were very happy with our trip to Foxwoods and enjoyed a day of fun! While the casinos are strictly 21+, the rest of the environment is well suited for all ages! read more

So good and eh for staying here.... The good: valet was super nice and helped check in and a place to park temporarily. My husband surprised me with an upgraded room with a view and a jacuzzi tub! Room was CLEAN and QUIET. We were there for the weird Al show... The eh: My husband sleeps with headphones on and forgot them so we went to a gift shop for a snack and a saw a pair of wireless headphones priced $22.99 okay that's not the worst. They ring up $29.99 and my husband didn't notice until after he swiped his card... seems like an easy fix right NOPE! Cashier had no interest in explaining or doing what was right and just refunding him the $7.00 said that not the price.. no it's marked that sooo it should be that price. Needless to say he just refunded all of my husbands money and wasn't helpful. Getting food after shows can be tricky... Johnny Rockets CLAIMED to be open until 2am but we and another coupled awkwardly stood there while the few people that we were wouldn't even look at us or simply let us know if they could seat us.. there were only like 3 parties seated and some people picking up orders. If you are short staffed I get it but simply tell people waiting to be seated instead of pretending we don't exist. We finally walked to the other tower and ate at walburgs it was good.. so yeah maybe this place should start thinking about hospitality a little more.. Lastly!!! If you are attending a show in the theater NOTE that EACH SIDE has a railing so if you get aisle seats like we did... you can't get out unless you want to hurdle the long railing... Some of the staff "helping" people find their seats were straight up rude and I'm sorry but you work in a hospitality business so keep your bad day to yourself... might want to invest in customer service training. read more

Came to Foxwoods and stayed overnight at the Fox Towers. It is a very large casino with plenty of games to play. I did feel like many things were under construction though. Staff were friendly and they a good amount of restaurants, a few nightclubs, lounges, bars, arena, and a convention center. read more

#ThankYouThursday Love having another casino in CT. Granted, Mohegan Sun is our top go to, but Foxwoods is fun here and there. The layout is quite vast with different sections that take a bit of walking in between them. Sugar Factory is perfectly glitzy to gather for a special event. Speaking of special events, David Burke Prime is fantastic. It's dimly lit in some areas, sultry, luxurious and pretty pricy....but so worth it. Get the hanging bacon appetizer. It's like nothing you've ever had before. If you're in the area of Fuddrucker's late night, it's a great spot to get some cheese fries and a greasy burgers to prevent a hangover. Fay Da Bakery - a traditional Chinese bakery has just the best bubble tea and egg custard breads/sweet buns. The hotel rooms have beautiful views and feel classy. We haven't hit it big while gambling, but it's fun to take the chance! read more

Have to be honest up front. It has been 20 years or more since we have been to Foxwoods. It's nice. Was a little disappointed that several of the restaurants are not open mon or tues but that is probably nothing to do with the resort. It's big. Very big. You can get your steps in. Seems there are more things to do other than. Gamble if you want (ie the Outlets). Rooms were nicer than at Mohegan and a little cheaper but that is it. While there are some cheaper places to eat seems most of the restaurants are very expensive. Spent way too much at Dave Burke Prime ( separate review coming for that ). My husband and I had the most amazing time Friday night there! We had a pretty great dinner brought up to our room. We saw Weird Al in concert and he was truly awesome. We laughed the whole time. Horrid in room dining. The food is putrid. This was $56(taxes and gratitude included). The eggs and toast were the only edible items. The fact that the kitchen staff saw fit to serve this to a guest is incomprehensible. Staff said they would replace but it would be a 45 minute wait. I wouldn't trust them to boil water. We stayed here on a Wednesday and Thursday night which was exponentially cheaper than staying through the weekend. However, it was still expensive. I cannot possibly imagine paying weekend prices. Our room was on the 5th floor of the Great Cedar hotel. It was a nice corner room and was bigger than anticipated. We were never bothered by noise even though we were right by the elevators. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The water in the shower had excellent pressure and hot water. However, there was still someone else's hair in the tub when we got there. Thumbs down for that. The room was comfortable but definitely outdated. There was a radio clock to connect your phone on the night stand next to the bed but did not include any usb ports or plug ins. It was instead equipped with an iPhone 4 connector. Do I think staying here is worth the money? No. Do I plan on coming back? No. Did I enjoy my experience? Yeah sure. If you do plan on staying here - print out a map of the place before you come. There is so much going on and it's massive. There are also very little directives throughout. Slot machines are everywhere. The lack of direction feels like a scheme to get you to detour into more gambling. It is somewhat understandable as it is a casino first and foremost. DO NOT TRUST FOXWOODS VALET - ITEMS STOLEN FROM MY VEHICLE I'm extremely disappointed and upset after using the valet service at Foxwoods. I handed over my car trusting it would be kept safe. When I got it back, I discovered that prescription medication had been stolen from inside the vehicle. This is not just inconvenient -- it's dangerous. These medications are important to my health, and the fact that someone could go through my personal belongings while the car was supposedly secure is unacceptable. I reported the incident to valet management and security, but the response was dismissive and unhelpful. No accountability. No follow-up. Let this be a warning to others: Do NOT leave anything of value in your car if you plan to valet at Foxwoods. Better yet, don't use the valet service at all. Foxwoods should seriously reconsider who they are contracting for valet service and how they handle guest complaints. read more

The first time stay turned absolute nightmare that never ended with a let me spit in your face sprinkle at the end. My boyfriend and I stayed over on Sunday 11.17 into Monday 11.18. I put a Louis Vuitton wallet with 4 credit cards, Louis Vuitton Trio pouch (value 1500), a Louis Vuitton coin purse, and a hand stitched coin purse was inside of the trio pouch. I had placed all the pouches inside of each other as I took what I needed and zipped up the larger one. Knowing this is my fault and I'll be stating this a couple times in this review as I did to management. I checked out leaving all the pieces. We had a three hour drive home we checked out at 11 went to the mystic aquarium (a must if you haven't) and then at 3pm half way home I realized we left my things in the safe. I called immediately they confirmed they had it but that I would need to go to the hotel desk to retrieve it because lost and found closes at 4 and I wouldn't be back till 5. In order to confirm they had it I had to list what was in there multiple Louis Vuitton Pieces credit cards etc. however the employee made it a point to say casino card. My casino card for the Wynn was buried under the 2 toiletries pouches inside. So immediately I knew people went through my things. I get to the hotel at 5pm so a total of 6 hours later. I go to the front desk explain the situation they state they have no idea what I'm talking about and they go to get a manager. Manager has no clue either - thank God for the Bell boy! He called security and found out where I needed to go. So clearly there's miscommunication number 1. So I go to security when I explain the situation. I'm looked at like I'm crazy and then a few minutes goes by as 3 employees are conversing in security and they say ok he's going to get your stuff. While he was getting my things I asked the lady if there was an itemized list of the things they removed from the safe or a report and was told I can't tell nor share that with you. So again my fear something was gone is there. 15-20 minutes later they are handing me my things. The encore casino card was handed to me first. The puzzled look on my face was clear. I then asked if they go through my things and unzip things? She said nothing. I asked again when she handed me back my wallet and all the credit cards were clearly moved. She was saying they follow a process and this is what was in there. I then get the trio back it's open nothing is in it and 2 pieces are gone. I immediately stated that something was missing and she said this is all that was there. I stated that I know there were two pieces in here. She again said that's all they had I agree to leave and go look at home and make sure I wasn't insane (which I knew I wasn't) I stopped again on my way out to review all my things at a slot machine on camera to make sure they could see this. I went home just as I stated the pieces were not there. So I call back at 11pm and I speak with security - Ready for this!! THERE WAS NO REPORT EVER CREATED!!!! Security told me there was nothing with inventory nothing to list what was in there and that protocol wasn't followed. Well of course this goes to solidify my thought that it was misplaced or taken. So the security guard went back to the room with housekeeping checked the safe etc. confirmed no one went in after me and suggested I come back to file a police report. So we drove back (6 hours round trip $100 in fuel we have a truck) and I went to the police station. I explained the situation and even the police officer seemed annoyed and didn't understand why they were sending me on a wild goose chase when clearly they didn't follow protocol and lost my things. The cop called the Foxwoods security and He spoke to Demarco the manager on duty and he said I needed to go to claims. So sending me to another place again in hopes of giving up I'd assume... after their security was the one who said to file the report in the first place. So I decide to go back to the hotel and speak to another manager to try and rectify everything while I'm on the reservation so I don't need to make an additional trip. The person in lost and found wasn't here. I spoke to another manager explained the situations and she assured me someone would call me tomorrow. So I left and he called me the next day. He was rude and arrogant I'll start with that. I am calling in regards to your Louis Vuitton's - "well we're not just gonna give you 1000$ but we can give you a nights stay" ok first I never asked for 1000$ I asked for you to look harder for my things and see if they were misplaced due to the lack of performance and due diligence by your team. Why was the protocol not followed here what actually happened? Clearly Foxwoods is nothing but a treat you like the $ sign you are and walk in and this is why they are loosing customers and performers do not want to headline here. It's gotta be the concerts that keep this place going, right? As expected, everything is overpriced. The hotel rooms are so dated and wicked pricey. Also, heads up that your room type reservation isn't guaranteed. Food is also pricy but we had good apps and sushi at Red Lantern. The first thing that needs changing is the layout. There are no maps or helpful signage. It's extremely confusing to navigate especially with old signs remaining for things that don't exist anymore. We stop in to Foxwoods from time to time for a change of scenery, to check out a restaurant, and stretch our legs. We have tried a few slots, but honestly, gambling doesn't do anything for me. I'd rather catch a show, do some people watching, enjoy the artwork and architecture. The building itself, as you approach it on the road makes an impression. Deep blue roofline and trim. Like turquoise jewelry. The parking is free and there are a few different garages, so be sure you make note of which garage you are in. We take a photo of the garage sign so we know which one we parked in :D Last visit it seemed I wore the wrong shoes and was slipping on some of the flooring. I never noticed before, but the halls are a variety of flooring, one moment it's carpet, another tile, then perhaps wood. In any event, one of those tile types is slippery, so if you have a nice rubber soled shoe, wear those. The interior is quite nice. There are a variety of areas within the casino itself, each with it's own personality as well as three hotels, theaters, a museum, and more. They did a good job with all the interesting interior designs. There is a large outlet mall in the casino, with lots of stores to chose from on three levels. You enter the mall in one area of the casino and exit in a different area. You have to walk all the way back through all 3 levels of this shopping area to get back to your car, so do be prepared to walk quite a bit if you come to shop. There are also a variety of shops through out the casino, aside from the outlet mall area. Jewelry, bakery, little cafe's, a Dunkin' or Starbucks as you prefer, ice cream, clothes and so on. Some shops outside the outlet are closed due to pandemic. Speaking of pandemic, you have to stop at a terminal before entering to have your temperature read. Once the computer says your temperature is normal, you may enter. There is plenty of hand sanitizer all over the casino and they ask that you limit the number of persons using the restroom at one time. Don't form a line inside. There were not many people at the casino last visit, so I am not sure they are limiting their numbers but it was very easy to keep socially distanced. Foxwoods has become threadbare, greedy and woke. I was there for 3 days witch my 12 pound rescue. On days two in the am i took my dog out and 25 feet from the entrance he took a 2 oz pee. He had to go. A valet who looked homeless started yelling at me. I ignored him and took my dog to the nearby dog area. He did his business there. As I was walking in a tall fat guy with a stained suit approached me and wanted info about my yelling at this homeless looking employee. I told him to check the tapes and taken a bath. I refused to give him my id and hen kept following me. Later that night I went to Hells Kitchen. It was loud. I put my phone on and the woman next to me did the same. A manager, a DEI hire, came out and said I threatened to stab someone. INJSANE...the woman next to me, again who I did not know told thismpastywoman that I never said anything like that. I went to Foxwoods for my birthday. We go every year for 3 nights. We stayed at the Pequot Tower room 1942. On the second day of my stay I received a phone call from the front desk telling me that I was being charged $575 for smoking in my room. Apparently a sensor in the room recorded smoke between 11 :45 and 12:15. I explained that this was impossible because I haven't smoked a cigarette for 30 years. I was then told that I must have been vaping or smoking pot because the sensors are 100% accurate. I went to the front desk and was presented with a print out of a graph which I was told was 100% proof that I had smoked or vaped in my room. If I wanted to have the charge removed I would need to deal with the company that makes the sensors directly. I asked to speak to a manager who was very nice but also believed there was no way I was telling the truth. After wasting a good part of my day talking to these people I was told the charge would be removed from my card. I packed my bags and left a day early. I will never go back to Foxwoods. I was completely humiliated by this experience. I have seen other posts online from people who have also had this happen to them. read more

Plenty of different areas for gambling as well as great selections of restaurants to choose from. I will NEVER recommend a Casino that does not include a BUFFET. Gone are the days where you could accrue Points towards a Buffet Meal while toiling away at Foxwoods' super tight slots.
