    Gates down at 10am still!

Online in writing it states the day of sales line will open at 9am. I drove from NY to be there at 9am. Due to them not getting the advanced sale line down the manager Angelo Avellone said he would not be opening the line until the advanced line was done which could take 3 HOURS! He refused to honor in writing saying they have the right to change their mind after people drove 3 hours to get here for 9. We could have left later if they were going to be liars. Now im here in pain waiting for them to send 1 cashier. I said one cashier to start the line was better than nothing. He did not care about the customer. This is poor decision making, lack of planning and poor customer service.

Bingo Uneashed Review: 1. Overpriced 2. Not enough bingo (only 3 games) 3. Long drink lines 4. They ran out of all the girly drinks (come in Fixwoods. You know this crowd is mostly women. Stock up on those white claws!) 5. The music was all over the place. I would prefer a themed night to secure a set.list I like 6. Our bags were not packed evenly. Some of us didnt get things our friends got but we all paid the same amount! I wouldn't spend the money again

There are many reasons to go to Foxwoods and this review could be very long, but I'd like to focus on my main reason for going to Foxwoods - The Poker Room. There is a brand new poker room that moved from the Rainmaker area to Fox Towers. The poker room is very bright, spacious and accommodating for players at all stakes. I generally play the $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em tables. The staff at Foxwoods are great! The dealers make very little to no mistakes, it doesn't take long to get a table either. The game could vary depending on the skill level of the players and aggression, but that's just poker. This is Yelp, so I will mention some tasty treats in the poker room. Their alcoholic beverages are always mixed perfectly and great tasting. One thing you may be surprised about is their hot chocolate. You HAVE to get it. It tastes like high grade dark chocolate with a smooth, creamy whip cream! I've had way too many to mention. This room is worth a visit if you know the game. Poker is pretty easy to learn, so give it a shot and attend the poker room. -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

Omg, my kids had such a blast at the Foxwoods Lunar New Year event on 2/21/2026. From face-changing performances, opera singers, Magicians, Lion Dances, and lantern making stations... my kids were occupied all day long. They went on the popcorn and cotton candy line on repeat. But, definitely park in the Rainmaker Garage for easier access. We parked at the main parking and the event was at the opposite side of the casino. Great for families (young and wise). Convinced a few friends to go and the kids and grandparents had a blast. Absolutely the best lunar new year event.

The resort itself has so much to offer in regard to food and entertainment options. However, this review is based on their bi go events. There is no direction on where to go for what you need to play, the lines are ridiculously long to buy boards and even longer to buy food or drinks. The help are not too nice and the event has not started on time on either occasion that I have attended one of their bingo events. They delay starting to get more money for themselves without increasing the payout amounts. Will not be coming coming back.

Foxwoods always has the best events! I recommend parking at the Foxtower if you're heading to the Cedar Showroom. Do not bring a big bag, they won't allow it in. Today I experienced their Vodka Vibes event. Got to sample several drinks including Ty Law's Corvus Vodka, as well as snap a photo with the NFL hall of fame player. Got glammed at the glitter bar, redeemed my meal item included with my ticket, took a 360 photo, and danced the night away to some 70s Jams, all included with admission ticket. I recommend redeeming your meal item early, because the food sells out quick. I'd definitely come back next year. Thank you Foxwoods, for great events.

Bingo dabbler vending machine. They have sparkly ones or chalky ones in different colors.

This review is for high stakes Bingo at Foxwoods. If you love Bingo, you need to check it out. It's good that this is far away or else I'd be tempted to go more often. It is definitely not bingo for beginners because it is very intense bingo with different bingo games, along with some traditional bingo. Every round you play 9 games on one sheet. And you win cash, which varies based on the game. I never won but it's still a lot of fun. Some of the winnings are in the thousands. Things to do know before you go: -When you pay the entrance fee, you are paying for a booklet to play the regular rounds but in between there are a lot of the side games, so if you only pay the entrance fee, it's realllly boring because you have to wait for the side games. So, I suggest getting an additional bundle. So, when you pay, you're paying the entrance fee and whatever other bundle you are getting. You can also buy bundles or additional games in the hall. -Once you pay, they give you a schedule sheet of what games will be played in which order. -You need Bingo dabbers, but if you don't have them, they have a vending machine in the hall for $1-$2. So cool! -You can bring your own food and drinks, so come prepared. They do have food and drinks you can buy, but the lines are always long. Some people bring coolers with non-alcoholic drinks. -Get there early because the lines to pay for your games is always long. If you get there early, you have time to grab some snacks or get some yummy baked goods from the Chinese bakery nearby. -If there are several winners for a game, the winners have to split the winning, so hopefully you are the only winner if you yell Bingo. -There are bathrooms inside the hall, which is convenient. -Everyone there is usually nice, so you could ask them about how certain games are played because it could be confusing for your first time. -This is fun thing to go to with a group of friends. Just be super quiet when the numbers are being called. People there are super serious about Bingo.

If you're not a gambler, it's okay. Would I go back multiple times a year? No. There is a lot to do indoors and outdoors for the summer anyway. If you want to go shopping, eat some good food, catch a concert or comedy show, or even enjoy the pools outside. They have an indoor go kart track and top golf. There's a lot to do, see and drink. What is nice is that even if you aren't a gambler, you can gamble a dollar, sit at the bar, and enjoy drinks. The bar tenders are great! Enjoy this video of the one night and one great bar tender! I wish I remembered his name.

Man, what a place. Foxwoods is massive. I've been twice and I still don't think I've really seen it all. It's such an impressive piece of property that I'm sure does not get the due respect it deserves in this day and age. If I'm in the area and have the time, I try to make the trip this way. The casino floor is definitely comparable and truthfully, better than some of the casinos in Vegas. I'm more of a slots player and I always multiple games I've never seen before and they always, always take my money. Outside of the casino floor are a ton of various shops and eateries again the viral anything I've seen in any of my travels. It really tries. Plus there is a Tanger Outlets connected to it- the outlet could use a little work, but most malls could. The real downside to Foxwoods is I think it almost feels forgotten about. I don't know anyone personally who goes here. Not that it wasn't busy when I'm here, but it doesn't feel updated. It feels stuck in a time when it was thriving, but it's not what it used to be. It still gets good entertainment and people stay here and spend money, and I don't want to make it seem like it's a dump here because it's definitely not I'd much rather be here than Atlantic City. I just want it to be spruced up a little. A little makeover or something to breathe new life into it. I'll still keep coming regardless.

Ask the Community - Foxwoods Resort Casino

Is there a bus from Boston that brings guests to the casino?

    https://www.foxwoods.com/getting-here/by-bus/#Charter

How early do people get to bingo?

Doors usually open 2 hours before the game starts and ppl are waiting. I say about 45min before the game starts is fine. The line takes about 20-30min to get thru.

    Can you enter a minor?

Not in the casino area but yiu can go to shops and hotel room

Are all the parking lots open now? The last time I was there the parking lot and entrance by the Hard Rock Cafe was closed. My wife just had surgery and I don't want her to have to walk to far.

No. The open lots are always full. You have to park miles away

Are there waitresses serving alcoholic drinks to gamblers?

Yes they are, provided you are sitting at a table or slot machine

What is there to do for a birthday for someone mid 20s? I'm trying to plan something for a friend but me and the other person planning have never been to foxwoods or mohegan. Besides gambling, is there enough to fill in from friday-sunday?

Dancing, bowling, catch a show, shopping, spa, etc.

What is the best room location to ask for if you have physical limitations and walk with a cane? Don't need a special room, just a central, easy-access location.

I suggest asking for a handicapped room. They are larger, more comfortable, and located adjacent to the elevators. I know many guests who ask for a handicapped room for those reasons alone, who are perfectly fine!

Are all hotel rooms smoking rooms?

NO, My room was a NON smoking room. When we checked in the staff asked if we wanted a smoking or NON smoking room.

I'd like to highlight the first sentence in particular, if I may: "The Fox Tower offers a modern hotel experience." Modern, huh? It's funny to me because one of the first things we noticed after getting settled into our room was the TV. See, it was immovable - which in of itself isn't all that unusual. But it DOES immediately torpedo any hope of accessing something like, say....an HDMI port for guests to plug-in their iPad, laptop, or whatever to stream from. Speaking of streaming, it's totally impossible to do from these "modern" TVs. Because....they're not Smart TVs. Flat screens? Yes. WiFi ready? Not a chance in hell. Granted, my lament can be aptly filed under "First World Problems". But in 2026, ya gotta admit this is a pretty silly setback. It seems we also apparently got one of the few rooms with a non-functional desk lamp. That's assuming, of course, all the rooms don't suffer from this same issue. Not only were both outlets completely inoperable, the switch to turn on said lamp was missing. I guess the ostensible hole where the button USED to be should have been a warning sign, but....that's what I get for being slightly optimistic. I'd have swapped rooms if we were staying longer than a couple nights. Apart from those two anomalies, the room itself was fine. A bit overpriced due to the holiday weekend? Sure. But considering this IS a resort after all, I can just be grateful we're in Mashantucket and not Las Vegas. Now, for those unfamiliar with the Foxwoods lore, it's technically 3 hotels in one; two towers and a third dormitory known as "Great Cedar Hotel". This becomes apparent the minute you attempt to check into the wrong desk by accident like we did. So, bit of advice: whichever residence you book under, proceed to THAT respective lobby for check in. In hindsight, it seems so obvious. But at the time, we figured they were digitally interconnected. Based on that inventory, combined with the pricing options that populated from lowest to highest, we can safely assume The Fox Tower is the LEAST luxurious of the 3 contenders. That is to say, there are still aspects of luxury sprinkled throughout TFT. But the gaps become more noticeable as you glance at things like.. The In-Room Dining Menu: This one varies tremendously between TFT vs the other two choices. Whilst the former gets an abbreviated edition of Junior's Coffee Bakery's menu, the latter gets a 4 page, full course menu with far more enticing options. The In-house Restaurants: Nearly every fine dining or even remotely fancy restaurant required us to invariably leave TFT and walk all the way to the opposite side of the resort on the Great Cedar side. Not that we don't appreciate a good stroll every now and then. But this is something folks should know prior to booking. The Rooms themselves: Going off the site photos alone, it seems that maybe, just MAYBE....the latter two hotels probably have movable Smart TVs. Didn't realize the privilege of streaming your OWN subscriptions costs extra but...here we are. Oh, btw - their check-out process was plagued with technical difficulties. Ya know how almost every hotel allows you to check out digitally so you can just drop the keys off in the outbox (or better yet, leave them in the room as you exit)? Yeah, no. TFT epically fumbled this one because that email they sent me.....was broken. As in, I clicked the button (multiple times, mind you), only to be greeted by a blank page. Which meant we had to check-out the regular way. How do you #@$! up something as basic as check-out? Don't know! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's not like our stay was bad, per se. But when it comes to ranking a resort that's clearly trying to be the Vegas away from Vegas, such consideration goes into my rating. That said, the biggest positives were the check-IN process, the staff, valet service, the extra layer of guest room security, and that huge ass bathroom. Plus, I must admit those dual shower heads were quite nice. Ultimately, we'll return to Foxwoods one day. Just not TFT. Far as luxury towers go, this one's pretty mid. If I'm gonna be paying millionaire prices, I may as well aim for the stars next time around. The Fox Tower is worth 3 spacious showers with dual heads out of 5.
