This is a super cute cafe that's popular with SCAD students and other locals. My friend and I went at about 1:30 in the afternoon and there was a line outside the door. It moved pretty quickly though, so that wasn't a problem. There are several little rooms to eat in, both on the lower level and upstairs. There's also an outside eating area too but we didn't check that out. The inside is decorated with art, exposed wood and stacks of books - very trendy. It was rather quiet despite the number of people inside which surprised me, so even though we were talking in a normal volume I felt like we were extra loud. I got the breakfast tacos which were two for 6 bucks and an iced latte. My friend got the foxy haystack and an iced latte. Both meals were excellent and at a great price. We were served quickly even with how busy it was. The people at the register were friendly. It was a great place to grab a bite to eat, I would definitely recommend it. read more

This lil coffeehouse is the ideal spot for doing work or just hanging out with friends. The only downside is this place is popular and may be difficult to find seating (especially when SCAD is in session). The upstairs is great for a more quiet study area while the downstairs has the perfect coffee shop ambiance. I usually order a plain latte bc it's so delicious but would also recommend the Horchata Latte! It's a bit spicy and def keeps you busy. The tacos are delicious as well and perfect for keeping you fueled to do your work! I usually go for the vegetarian taco which is filling and well seasoned. Dogs are def allowed outside and inside (when you order). I've seen people sit with their dogs in the shop (which I don't mind) but wouldn't recommend if you have a medium/large pup because I can get pretty crowded. This is a definite must for any tourist or local in Savannah. Whether it's the drinks, the tacos, the brunch or the assortment of baked goods, anyone going here will not be disappointed. My personal favorite is the iced chai and the kolache. The ambiance here is amazing, with plenty of seating (though it still gets pretty crowded) both inside and out. They even have live music or a comedy show every once in a while. The line can get pretty long during the late morning and early afternoon, stretching out the door and into the sidewalk. The staff here is incredibly friendly and efficient, especially Adam and Jessica. My only regret is that there isn't a place like Foxy Loxy outside of Savannah. read more

Love the outside garden!!!!! I went for happy hour on Saturday where you get 50% off wine bottles and the sauvignon blanc we got was perfect! I ordered the trio dip with chips for the first time and the guac was absolutely crazy good! I thought the queso and salsa were kind of bland. Maybe the queso should be a mix of different cheeses, or actual melted cheese. And the wierd part were the homemade flour chips. The consistency was just wierd, they were flakey not crunchy. If you're doing to-go you wait by the counter, if you're staying you just go ahead and find a seat and they'll bring the food to you! I went there with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. I got a hot chai latte and an everything bagel kolache to-go. The service was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable as well. For my two items it was just under $5. The kolache was warmed up and awesome! It was fresh, doughy, and packed with lots of cream cheese. The chai latte was also good and served nice and hot. Great lunch at Foxy Loxy - we had a variety of the fare and it was all delicious. They serve tacos and Mexican inspired food as well as the more classic Coffee Fox beverages. The tacos, quiche and churros were all really good, as was the horchata latte, a new find for us. We ate in the courtyard and it was really nice and peaceful - vey different than the vibe of the street it's on. I wish the neighborhood was better but don't let that discourage you. On a trip back home, I was really wanting to try a new coffee place and I'd heard so much about this place for awhile that I just knew now was the time. It is definitely one of those places Scaddies go to. Definitely gets crowded but thankfully, we went when there was no one there. We got a table and I got a mocha latte. It was really delicious. Super creamy. The food looked delicious, but I don't eat breakfast so I didn't get any. Bf claimed it was loud, but I beg to differ. I was able to get a lot of work done. As a new resident of Savannah, it's my goal to visit as many of the unique, quirky, and delicious coffee shops filling this city. Foxy Loxy Cafe was the first on my list and I'm so glad it didn't disappoint! I heard their horchatas were amazing so that was my drink of choice. It's made w/ Mexican sweetened milk and you have the option of getting it with or without espresso and either hot or cold. I only ordered one chipotle chicken taco and after the first bite I wish I had ordered another. If you're ordering for lunch I suggest getting at least 2 tacos, which will still cost you no more than $7. I really liked that they have water available in a large pitcher for customers to get free water without having to wait in line. For students like me looking for a place to study, this is a nice gem in Savannah. They have free wifi, great coffee, and great music. I went on a Saturday around 3:00 pm and it was a little difficult to find a nice table for my computer and my food. If you're looking to go here for studying, I suggest going a little earlier to ensure you get a table. I will definitely be coming back in the near future. read more

Great coffee shop. Its a wonderful hipster spot that could be easily overlooked, but it's truly a hidden gem. The drinks are always good, rather it is coffee or an alcoholic beverage. They offer different drinks, depending on the season. The tacos are addicting (and a tad bit spicy). The courtyard is relaxing, and it is even better during the summer when they have vinyl night and acoustic night. The Kolache came out burnt, the staff kept yelling at customers to close the door, and the lady at the register looked like she'd rather be any where else than serving customers. CAFE AND COMPUTERS COLLIDE [Warning: young adults from Central Florida here for just a visit] We needed a place with free wifi and coffee-- we fit right in at Foxy Loxy as every seat in there (and there's a variety of seating options especially when you go out the back) was conquered by a college-aged person on a laptop, reading, studying, etc. CAFFEINE We ignored the Tex-Mex cuisine (somehow it doesn't match the location, but I can't judge) and ogled at the bakery treats on display. I settled on a Horchata Latte (two shots of espresso with sweetened milk) and the warmth was soothing on that cool day. (It can also come iced). Hubs took the Cold Brew black and enjoyed it. STUDY IN COMFORT Besides all the ambient spaces, it was extremely welcoming inside.
