The food (chicken shawarma wasn't a good representation) and service (an order of three food items was somehow messed up) were average. The rating was saved by the great location. Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 5

Came here on a weekday brunch. I had a chicken salad which was very tasty but pretty sweet. Our child had children's breakfast that he enjoyed. Ambience is wonderful since they have extensive seating straight in the park, so you can enjoy the park and eat outdoors. Indoor seating is very modern and wonderful as well. Service was very friendly and attentive. We had issue with one of the ordered and it was fixed no problem. They also had a nice selection of hot teas.

Very popular spot, and I can see why! Such a great location for brunch. Right at Forsyth Park and ample seating inside and out. Very cute decor. There was a short line around 10am on a Saturday but was seated right away. Great service, pretty attentive and friendly. Ordered the chia bowl and Dubai French toast. The French toast was a bit sweet for me but very much enjoyed the chia pudding.

Walking through the farmers market on a perfectly sunny late Saturday morning during our long weekend in Savannah, we decided to jump into the long line of people waiting for a table at Collins Quarter. The line moved quickly and we were seated outside in about 15 minutes. Olivia was our server and she took good care of us. We each ordered a mimosa. I had the monarch and my wife had the blood orange. Both were tasty and generous pours. For food, I had the Korean Chicken and Waffles with a side of avocado and my wife had the Mushies on Toast with a side of crispy bacon. The food was wonderfully rich and filling, the service was attentive and the entire vibe of the place was chill. Everything we were looking for in a spontaneous brunch adventure. At the end, we ordered two Wallflowers to go and were on our merry way!

Great location for brunch in historic Forsyth Park. Our server gave recommendations that did not steer us wrong. Interesting food combos. Tip: there is no reservations for brunch. Get there before 10 to ensure a low wait time. Also, adult beverages are not ordered/served before 11 am on Sunday. Plan accordingly!

After a long walk we stopped in for a refreshing drink and break. It's very cute. Staff was nice. I got an Aperol Spritz and my husband got a Aussie Iced Coffee neither disappointed. Stevie was our server this morning for brunch and he was great! He had excellent recommendations and the food was impeccable, as always. I love the energy and the decor of this location. CQ Forsyth just has a great energy and the service has continued to be excellent and the food is always incredible. Try the chicken and waffles and you will be wrecked for any other restaurant's interpretation. They have devised a sweet, savory and slightly hot version. The flavors all marry so well together.

Saw the hype around this place and was quite disappointed. The pricing is very high for the quantity of items you receive. We ordered the chicken & waffles and received 1 piece of chicken and one waffle... It costed us $18. Service was good and waiters were friendly and the ambiance at the Forsyth location was just okay. The fact that one waffle, one piece of chicken and 2 drinks costed $47 ruined the entire experience.

Collins quarter was highly recommended so had to make time to check it out for brunch. Came in right when they opened so quickly sat. We started with hot chocolates, yummy and had both marshmallows and whipped cream! I had the crab cake Benedict - super filling and tasty, I've never had seafood for breakfast but this was a great first. Next time we have to try returning for lunch/dinner!

Brunch at Collins Quarter at Forsyth is always fabulous. From fancy cocktails to delicious eats and meets. Service is top notch here. The servers frequent visits to the table just enough. Every entree that I've here has been tasty. Went for the chicken and waffle plate on this visit, washed it down with a signature Collins Quarter cocktail. Perfect place for a Saturday morning Forsyth stroll before or after brunch. We dined outside, the ambiance was nice, full house, beautiful views, fresh air, and super chill. My kind of place.

I really enjoyed my meal here at Collins Quarter. I loved the location , right in the park. They had music going in the morning we were there. My girlfriend got a coffee to which she believed was the best she got on our trip. Some sort of ice cream coffee, I can vouch it was good. Service was great , they were very busy, and our waitress very always checking in and refilling drinks.

The brunch menu is fairly…read moreextensive, so we had some difficulty choosing what to order....but definitely come hungry because the portions are large and the food is pretty rich. To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls. If you or your family are visiting savannah Georgia, I highly recommend Collins Quarter!

That drink is a masterpiece and lives rent free in my head. I still regret not going back for another one while in Savannah. As a french toast lover who also happens to love pistachios and chocolate, I obviously got the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the french toast, it was the perfect portion to split between two people without being overwhelmingly sweet. I hate when these things are humongous in size and then you can't finish it and end up wasting most of it away. The best part was Doki Doki' Pistachio-Crusted Pistachio Gelato on top - phenomenal! We also got the Moroccan Scramble as the savory counterpart to the french toast. The moroccan-spiced minced-lamb combined with scrambled eggs and toasted chickpea was so flavorful and satisfying. After this meal, I don't believe I could ever pass through Savannah without making a trip to the Collins Q! P.S.: Please come to Philly!

It…read morewas difficult to pick a restaurant to have dinner at, because there's so many great choices in Savannah, but seeing that the minds behind Common Thread were recently semifinalists for Best Chef SE through the James Beard Awards, it ended up being my choice. I'm absolutely glad I picked it. Walking in, we were greeted with smiles. The house/restaurant was stunning. It was quirky but still had its charm. We were escorted to our table, which was an odd little table halfway up the stairs, away from everyone. We were told that table was meant of anniversaries/intimate events. It felt awkward at first but it ended up being fun people watching and listening in to conversations as people walked by. Colton was our server. He was great. Extremely knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu, offered great suggestions on food and wine, did a proper wine service, and even properly pronounced the region in which the wine was from. Colton definitely made us feel special and gave us an incredible experience. I'll definitely give it to Common Thread. The knowledge in which every staff member presented was incredible. As every person dropped off an item at the table, they accurately described the dish in detail before they walked away. I've been in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years; serving, bartending, and managing numerous different types of restaurants, from casual to fine dining. I've opened up a few restaurants and have been a trainer as well. Common Thread is operating at a high level in terms of the staff's ability. The food: incredible. We started with one of each oyster, and it was insane how much flavor was packed in them. Our first course was also accompanied with the hand roll and the apple beet salad. The hand roll was fantastic. The beet salad felt like it needed some sort of acid/citrus with it, but still had great flavor. Course two was the mushroom cannelloni and the orecchiette. Both were phenomenal. My wife was obsessed with the cannelloni, the butternut squash puree was a perfect accompaniment. The pesto/parmesan foam on the orecchiette was an excellent touch. Course three we went against Colton's suggestion for the pork chop (almost got both, we were stuffed), and got the Ribeye. Great char, cooked perfectly. The peppercorn jus was an excellent topper for it. For dessert, we opted for the sticky toffee pudding. Although it wasn't sticky, the ginger pairing with it was an excellent touch. This is one of the best experiences we've ever had at a restaurant. This will be a staple for us whenever we're back in Savannah and will definitely be asking for Colton again. He is the kind of server I'd like to have at my restaurant. Props to Common Thread, props to Colton.

For a side, we chose the smashed potatoes, which were a standout in their own right, crispy edges with a soft, fluffy interior. Comforting, well-executed, and easy to keep reaching for. The space itself adds a lot to the experience: a thoughtfully repurposed former Greyhound bus station that feels stylish and warm without trying too hard. Looking around at the tables around us nothing really caught our eye after reading the menu, we didn't want to leave since we were able to get reservations so we got some starters and shareables. There was a couple next to us who was having the same dilemma after over hearing their conversation. The kale salad was okay but a little bitter for my liking and the potato soup had a thick layer of oil on the top which looked intentional but wasn't our cup of tea. The cornbread and mashed potatoes were good but nothing crazy in our opinion to write home about. Service was okay on our end, once our waiter realized we weren't getting any main entrees it felt like he ghosted us with no water until our food came out and then never came back to check in on us until he brought the check. We were sat in what I believe used to be a front parlour, by a window over looking the street. We had a dual service with one person being the "main" server, his name was Michael. He was in charge of giving us the spiel and answering our questions. A woman (I forget her name, sorry! But she was lovely) was in charge of running the food and clearing the plates. It was a very well run machine. The menu is pre set, but there were choices on some of the courses, like course where an option was a soft shelled crab - I definitely wanted to take advantage of that! We started off with Biscuits with butter and homemade orange marmalade, these were delightful, so fluffy and soft, and the marmalade was sweet, not bitter like it sometimes can be. The Amuse bouche was a trio of tiny items: a pimento cheese tart, a mussel with chipotle sauce and panko, and a square of salmon with mild wasabi and ginger. The salmon was definitely my favorite. The fifth course had a special as I noted before, so I opted to go for that, it was a soft shell crab with garlic, herbs and a vidalia onion slaw. Topped with peanuts and a white wine sauce. I think my favorite course of them all was the scallops with the carrots and the whipped ricotta - so simple but so delicious! Phenomenal special occasion place or just to cross off your bucket list. If I am in Savannah again (and the likelihood is high, its such an amazing city), I will be back.
