My husband and I had heard so much about the Treylor Park restaurants in Savannah and knew we had to try one during our visit. The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! The food here was really good, and they also had some excellent cocktails. I liked the relaxed, classic diner atmosphere--it felt comfortable and unpretentious. I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. Seriously, McDonald's is better than this in every way. Photos to prov The ketchup bottle? Disgusting looking. They definitely refill these "do not refill" bottles. The hash browns? Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? What a great place to come eat some fast food southern diner food. Their service here is great with that southern hospitality feel so guests are always welcome. Food is great I'd recommend the PB&J wings plus the blueberry hot chicken waffles that were delish. This location is newer and has a nice diner feel to it. Food was okay. I ordered the diner club sandwich, bone dry, no mayo, sliced American cheese, deli meat and bacon. Some tomato and lettuce but just a generic meal. Waffles fries were nice and cooked just right. We waited 20 minutes when tables were open all over the restaurant. They must have been way under staffed but service was pleasant once we sat. The inside is a really cool to be sitting in what looks like an old airstream with a lot of old photos and a typical diner atmosphere. Space is cute, especially if you can get sat next to a window to people watch. Service was slow the day we were there but I dont think it was the server's issue, I think it was the kitchen. I was really excited about trying out this restaurant while visiting Savannah. We went early on Saturday morning. When we got there, we were told that there would be a weight of 45 minutes. We did notice that there were several open seats and seating at the bar that was empty. We asked if we could sit at the bar if it was first come first serve and the host just told us that it was not. We went ahead and put our name on the list, but decided to walk around and see if we could find another place that we could've gotten them too faster. The restaurant was not busy and there was not a line of people waiting so I was very confused on why there was a 45 minute wait. After walking around a little bit, we did get a text saying that our table was ready so we went back to the restaurant. We noticed that the exact same tables that were empty there the first time and the bar seating was still empty. I thought that was very odd. But we decided to go ahead and order. The service was very slow. We ended up waiting for almost an hour to get our food and we got a very basic breakfast. So as soon as the food came, I asked if we could get to go boxes because my friend and I needed to leave and had to be somewhere at a certain time. Still took a pretty long time to get the boxes and you would think that once she brought the boxes she would also give us a check. So I had to wait around for the check as well. So actually didn't end up eating inside the restaurant. I took it back to the Airbnb to eat to get ready to go to where we need to be. Our server, Tiffany was very cordial and personable. As for the interior, it's pristine and nicely decorated with photos of old trailers, car, music albums,etc., with cool music playing. Fountain stools, high tops, and individual tables line the inside, while outside dining is also available. Now for the food. It's fantastic! Went here two days in a row while in town for a weekend. The ambiance is casual/laid back, the service was great, the food even better! We had the "pigs in a blueberry blanket", blueberry filled pancakes, the chicken & waffle tacos (fav) and the apple/cheddar/bacon with chicken added sandwich. Wow - all great. The prices are reasonable. Visit the Treylor Park when you're in town! Also, if you park in the garage close by, it will be $10. After a morning touring the area we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Our host immediately took us to a table and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered the fried bologna sandwich and burger. All the food came out quickly, and we enjoyed our lunch while chatting about the area. The bathrooms were a little gross and in need of a quick wipe down. I loved the spin on nachos using fries instead of chips, but the portion was more meagre than the menu described. The toppings, including bits of chicken, chunks of dill pickle, and ranch dressing, were fun and tasty. The tacos were wild. We got a plate each of shrimp and grits, chicken and waffle, and chicken and pancake tacos so we could make samplers. This was the way to go as three of the same of any of those would have been exhausting. The chicken and waffle are overloaded with sugar. The strawberry salsa in the chicken and pancake was brilliant. I really liked the shrimp and grits, but I would have liked more grits. The kids dishes are pretty straightforward. The tenders were very tough. Overall, it was a fun one time experience, but we probably won't make it a Savannah destination. read more

This was my first time dining at Treylor Park and I loved the experience. The menu is a bit whacky but I think that's what makes it fun. I ordered the loaded fries because of the talk around town but I enjoyed it. It's very filling and easy to finish if in a rush. The wait staff answered all questions with no hesitations and even laughed with me as I waited for the other half of my party who went to the other location not too far down the road to arrive. What a cool experience located right in the downtown area. We walked in on a Sunday morning around 745. We were the only patrons and the staff was wonderful. I really enjoyed the Low country. The crabcake may be nervous because it was brown on the outside, but it was delicious. The bowl was filling and I even left with a little bit of leftovers. I'm not generally overly sensitive to noise, but this was just too much. We agreed to have the code we had already ordered and move along with our day.
