We were visiting the area. Happened to see the sign advertise Detroit style pizza. We are from the Detroit area so thought we would stop in for lunch and see how the pizza was. Frabotta's just opened 18 days ago! Food was fantastic! We had a pizza, garlic knots, calzone, Caesar salad, Italian sub, and spaghetti. They also offer fresh fruit selections which looked delicious. Music was lively but not too loud. Still able to have conversation. Nice televisions. Bonnie the server and John the owner were terrific as was the cook, Keith who delivered our food to us. We're on vacation but will keep Frabotta's on our go-to list! read more

For me pizza crust is usually just a vehicle for the toppings, but this crust was really good! The toppings were fresh and delicious (although a little more of them is what I'll request next time). The additional fresh mozzarella on top was recommended and it really added to the taste. Easy in and out with our take home pizza and it was ready when promised. We will be back! read more

Well, I work here as a server, so, I'm kind of biased. But, in 10 years of working in the service industry I have never seen such devotion to quality of food and service. The love put into every dish is genuine and the standards are very high. If you want fast food, drive throughs are everywhere. Food was ok. Manager/owner was very rude and disgusting. Chicken Parmesan usually comes with spaghetti instead it came with fettuccine, I did not want the fettuccine with spaghetti sauce so I asked for fettuccine with Alfredo sauce instead, the manager was VERY condescending and upset because I asked for the fettuccine with Alfredo sauce since they didn't have the regular spaghetti. When I ordered the server should have told me there was no more spaghetti instead of just serving me anything he felt would do. The server had the manager come out who was VERY DISGUSTING and NASTY towards me. Obviously he doesn't care about his customers and is super racist and have no respect for females. As a business owner this is not how you treat customers, the manager turned it into the customers fault instead of taking ownership that his server was wrong for not informing me PRIOR to bringing out the food that there were no spaghetti. I'm shocked a business owner would treat his customers in such a way. This business will close down soon due to poor management. read more

Like some of the other troll reviews, yes A little long for the food and a little pricey for pizza (But come on what do you think the lease costs for a location like that) But overall service was friendly, the food was flavorful and good. The food was horrible. Save your money! The pasta drowning in sauce, the calzone, the kitchen could not get it right missing ingredients. The raw cheese on a chicken parmigiana sandwich. Kitchen cooks complain and you hear it. Pasta hard! Save yourself and go elsewhere. read more

Very pleasant and well-lit dining room. Had one long dining table and just a few smaller ones. Not necessarily a problem but half the long dining table chairs didn't have seat backs. Friendly, smiling service from Victoria. Nice assortment of beers. My wife and I split the special for the evening which was lasagna which we both enjoyed very much - cheesy and meaty. Our friends had the pizza which they graciously shared with us. I thought the crust was outstanding. It was thick but with a perfect amount of crunch to it. The toppings were generous. It's not higher end Italian dining, but it's definitely a lot more upscale than a pizza joint. Best of all, it's right across the street from our condo. We'll be back. read more

The pizza isn't anything special. The pie was soggy and the dough had a sweet flavor kind off like sweet white bread. We ate a couple of slices and thru the rest away and that isn't typical for us. I was very pleasantly surprised when I came here. The restaurant used to be a subway but they have completely transformed it into a cozy pizzeria. Menu is limited with pizza, salad, some pasta entrees, soup and dessert, but the place has a great feel and great food. Pizza is "Detroit style" which is a little different from nyc thin crust but it still tastes great. Service was also excellent. Will be coming back. read more

Very disappointing. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 pizzas and after an hour sitting and waiting nothing came out. When we asked about appetizers they said they were really busy with take out orders. I certainly did and thoroughly enjoyed the Best Pizza I've had in years!! Great taste, full of flavor boasting real pepperoni. The meatballs were also delicious, reminded me of the ones I grew up on in Michigan. Our family of 5 is from out of town and we were looking for a good pizza place near our condo. We decided to give this place a try and we're really happy we did. We ordered 2 of their $9.99 pizzas and another 12" sausage and pepperoni pizza and were not disappointed. We called ahead and the pizzas were ready when they said they would be. The staff was very nice when we got there, gave us paper plates and napkins to take the pizzas to the beach. The pizzas were really tasty - the pepperonis were a little greasy, but our family doesn't mind them that way. And, the 3 pizzas were plenty of food for us, with several slices left over. As others have said, nice location. I enjoyed my pizza as well however I had a problem with desert. I ordered a pumpkin cannoli to go, when I took a bite I found that instead of being filled with cooked, seasoned cream it was filled with nothing but raw pumpkin. I'm going to give this place one star why because the pizza was good and the waiter was ok. The service was slow and it took quite a bit of time for two pizza to be served to our table. We a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 kids. The reasoning for the 1 star is the inappropriate conversation with either the grease ball owner or manger. Either way I hate to judge but would like to say to this guy with out my kids around. Hey prick next time you want to pick up two fat chicks in your restaurant take it outside. The comments of i don't have any underwear on then she said I'm not wearing a bra and I'll come back tonight to take care of you was really in poor taste. Then to do that in front of someone with kids and other customers! Come on asshole have some respect for yourself your restaurant and visitors from out of town.
