Love stopping on the way to OC for fresh doughnuts!!! They are made when you order them, and are HOT! The outside is crispy and the inside is so warm and soft.

Sweet tooth!??? This place is for you! Came here on a whim on a Friday morning, and was not disappointed. I was greeted by Ahmandria, and she was super sweet and patient. The menu is extensive, lots of choices and all customizable. They all come warm and made-to-order! We tried 4 of the flavors and i cannot tell you which one i liked best. They were ALL great!! I keep telling myself I wont stop here again at the end of my trip, but i might! Thanks again, Ahmandria!

Amazing donut shop close to the beach (kind of hidden next to the Coldwell Banker office). Donuts were hot and fresh with something for everyone. $23.50 for a dozen which is a little pricey but totally worth it!

I visited this donut shop while on a recent trip to Delaware. When searching for coffee and donut shops that are in the area, I can across this place on a list of Eater's best donut shops in America. Needless to say, I was excited to try it and just happen to be traveling to a place that was so highly regarded. While I liked this donut shop a lot, I can't say it's one of America's best. Don't get me wrong, they have very good donuts and it's a must visit. They have a wide variety of interesting flavors. The principle thing they do that makes their donuts yummy is they are all fresh made. The donuts are made in front of your eyes with a donut machine, then dipped into a sauce that gives the donut its flavor. This makes the donuts warm, something that is usually found at a donut shop. The down side of this is that service is slow. When I went, there was only staff member for entire the donut shop, and took him painfully long to make and bag all of the orders. I went during the off season in the winter, so it's possible they have more workers during the high season, so service might be faster then. Also, be warned the donuts are super sweet. The ambiance is perfect for the beach town that it is in. One weird aspect is there is a lot of Dale Earnhardt memorabilia in the donut shop. In sum, the donuts here are hot fresh and delicious.

I couldn't sleep the night before. I was so excited to get my donuts in the morning. I went there at 8 AM as soon as they open the doors I was the first one in. The staff were so friendly and the donuts do not disappoint. I ordered six flavors and they were amazing, also the store is very cute. It has a coffee section and a donut section and it sells clothing if you want. I love this place and it's sad We don't have any locations at home.

Great service, cute and donuts were very pretty. I thought it was a bit sweet but rest of family loved it, we had them for dessert. The coffee was good too!

These are some good donuts! I got 4 and 2 iced coffee's which was $36 and I chose to give the group a tip. It was an early Saturday morning but the staff was friendly. The donuts are hand-dipped by order. I didn't realize that so I waited a few hours for them to dry and be less messy to eat, although enjoying while hot seems to be the thing to do. I was worried how sweet they would but the donut itself was very light. It was a bit pricey but worth the stop on our drive back home.

One of the best-fresh donut place, sad we are missing this in NoVA. There was huge line when I got there, the staff was patient and efficient.

THESE WERE SO GOOD UGH! I love you fractured prune. While they are sweet, they have so much flavor. They are what a donut should taste like. The service was very good and is given to you in about 5-10 minutes!

Great base donut, super light and yummy. My criticism is that everything was piping hot so any frosting or topping melted. Still yummy and pairs well w some coffee.

Always one of our first stops when we visit Rehoboth or Ocean City. It's an absolute must at least once during your stay. Lots of great varieties!

Bottom Line: Friendly employees and cake donuts made to order. Today was my first trip to Fractured Prune ever. I'd heard good things about it and I was curious. After studying the menu for a bit I decided on a chocolate coated donut with rainbow sprinkles and my husband had the French Toast donut. Both were good and had a delicate crunch on the outside which I really enjoyed. I found these made to order cake donuts to be similar to Duck Donuts or Sandy Pony Donuts but a tad greasier. The staff was welcoming and energetic - overall a nice experience on a Sunday morning.

It was nice to stop in for something different while we were on vacation. The donuts are cake donuts and made as you order so prepare to wait a bit. There are lots of different pre-made donut ideas to choose from or you can design your own. We ate at the picnic tables outside and divided up the donuts into fourths so we could try them all. Some flavors were definitely stronger contenders than others (Rolo, Lemonade, & Death By Chocolate) while some seemed a little flat (Cookies and Cream & Banana Pudding).

I got a matcha latte and wasn't asked what kind of milk which I thought was odd. They ran out of cold brew as well and the iced americano was mid. When we walked in, there was an off putting smell, not sure if was due to the bathrooms being right there, nonetheless it was off putting. Would love to see them extend their breakfast items longer, albeit it'd be way past actual breakfast time. Was hoping to grab a burrito!

We made it there on our second day and it's clear that this seems to be a favorite to both locals and visitors. Upon arriving, it was pretty difficult to find parking as all of the spots were taken, so we quickly located a spot on the residential street nearby. Walking in, the line was almost to the front door, but I didn't mind as it gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu for coffee and breakfast options. I loved seeing the coffee beans available for purchase as well as some of their merchandise on my way to the counter, in addition to admiring the hand-painted murals and so many cool seating options. The tables have really beautiful woodworking, many of which have raw edges which add a lot of personality. Order up! I opted for an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso (because I definitely needed an energy boost that day) and coconut flavoring, frozen matcha, the breakfast sandwich, and a glazed doughnut. I was really intrigued by the coffee smoothie which was featured and highlighted in multiple spaces. The term "smoothie" threw me off but I discovered from a fellow patron that it's simply a frozen blended coffee and they order it all the time. Loved checking out the outdoor seating options as well as the bar that shares the same local, Mary and Margs (SUCH a great name). Since we came in later in the morning/early afternoon, there were already quite a few people flocking to the barstools, ordering espresso martinis, which looked divine. I have to say that my coffee was delightful, you can tell that the beans were freshly ground and the extra shot of espresso really did the trick for me. The frozen matcha was delicious, 10/10, no notes! Would definitely get that again and would try the coffee smoothie next time. I ate my entire breakfast sandwich because I was starving but was expecting a lot more. The homemade biscuit is what intrigued me the most but I think I've been spoiled with some really amazing housemaid biscuit sandwiches back home so this one really fell short for me; it was kind of hard, a little burnt. All in all, this is a really cute, trendy spot, which seems to attract people of all ages with a very robust menu from morning to evening. Definitely want to come back and check out more items!

Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich wasn't where it was at: the egg tasted more like microwaved egg, definitely wasn't fresh and somewhere the bacon tasted bland and tough like cardboard. The highlights were the drinks for sure! The mango smoothie was deliciously frozen and refreshing; perfect for a hot summer day. The service was okay, decently welcoming but not the best. Since we ordered to go, we were given our food in bags and boxes not on plates; they were placed on a ledge hanging on the table for us to grab. The space was so cute, decorated with coffee signs and many places to sit and the ambience was lovely with some frequent regulars who striked up great conversation with our family.
