Beautiful day for Al Fresco. Wait staff was working alone and covering several tables. Super fast service and lots of care. But no chit chat cause she was busy. Spouse had the shrimp taco and said it was delicious, I had the Rubin's Rubin and had to take half the Rubin home( and the huge pickled cucumber ) it was as good as any Jewish deli I've ever been to, so many fries ( the fries were crispy, hot and fluffy on the inside, so perfect ) and a couple of huge unsweetened ice teas. If it wasn't so early I might have partaken of the extensive beer menu. As it was $41 and a 20% tip was an acceptable price for the food at the beach. Worthy of a revisit.

Ended up going here two separate times yesterday we enjoyed it so much. Initially we just stopped in for happy hour in their outdoor seating with our dogs. Service was both excellent and very friendly. Had so much fun and the menu looked so good, that we took the dogs home and then came back to dine inside for dinner. For dinner we sat at the bar and enjoyed their nachos and a couple sandwiches. The nachos were good, not the best I gave ever had, but they were generous, had lots of flavor, and were only ~$10 during happy hour. My wife got the turkey Ruben and I got the buffalo chicken cheese steak. Both sandwiches were VERY good. Wish we had thought to come on a Wed and they would have been half price. Even at full price though, the portions were solid and the prices reasonable. All in all, one of the better value meal we have had on our trip. Finally, one of the biggest appeals of this place were how low key it was. Not too loud, not too crowded. Ended up having a couple nice conversations with other people sitting at the bar. Will 100% be back here next time we are in the area.

We waltzed in here for a quick snack in that weird time between lunch and dinner. We ended up getting a lot more than we bargained for! We ordered waaaay too much food which ended up being a substantial dinner for most of us. I especially enjoyed the loaded tots served with lot of cheese, jalapenos, and chopped bacon. The server was friendly and efficient. The waters were ice cold and huge too. The patio is in a quaint alleyway in town right across from a cool record shop which I recommend checking out too. I didn't explore much of the menu but from what I saw, I have no complaints!

Another good meal at Arenas! We walked up on Friday during a very short break between rainstorms, and found almost no one on Arena's deck - that never happens. We took outdoor covered seats and ordered our meals. I went w the grouper Rueben and my bf went w the fish and chips. Service was fast and the meals were good. A band started indoors while we ate and they sounded great. It was good people watching too as people walked by w their umbrellas. We were in and out in under an hour which was our goal.

My partner and I went for happy hour on a Saturday. We were some of the only people there and service was slow since they were switching shifts. They have a sign about happy hour but no specific menu. We asked and the bartender told us a couple of average beer specials (and did not mention that appetizers were half off). My parents have been several times and love the nachos but say "it depends who's in the kitchen". I will let the photo I took speak for itself.

Chill sandwich spot with great service and a variety of sandwiches! My favorite is the Big Daddy. Gotta get the hot tots!

We come to Arena's every year for late night snacks! The food never disappoints! This year we visited twice to order some food and apps! The loaded nachos is always a must... garden veggies, fresh guacamole, salsa, and lots of toppings! It it a huge portion that can easily be shared with others! We also got the loaded tator tots which is also highly recommended. The specialty slushy drinks were a hit this year, very yummy! ! Service was so so, waitress had a bad attitude and made some snide comment about a neighboring tables tip. That brought our tip down some as she also rarely checked on our table of 8. Overall, free music, good apps, and a nice environment!

This was my first time here. Many of the downtown restaurants were closed due to COVID and/or pre-season. The restaurant is located down a side street off the main street. We did not have a reservation. Outside was not immediately available, therefore, we opted for inside lunch. All service members wore masks inside and outside. I started with my Guinness on draft for $5, which I enjoyed twice. House chardonnay was also $5. I wanted a half ruben sandwich with crab soup, but, it was not on their menu. Therefore I ordered the bowl of crab soup and half big daddy sandwich for $11.99. The big daddy was prepared similar to a ruben. A full ruben sandwich is also $11.99 less the soup. The sandwiches here are a nice size. Lunch prices here are very reasonable. My total bill was $44 less taxes and gratuities. Mask wearing Scott Y. accommodated our table needs nicely. I will definitely return here again for lunch such as another soup and sandwich.

After a long day on the beach, Arena's deli had everything we wanted. Our Reuben and burger were stacked to the brim. Our fries were hot and crispy and our pickles delectably tart. The cherry on top was the live music. I have never been on the edge of my seat waiting to hear the next song. The talented duo were covering a wide range of songs but added their own unique spin, almost making their song their own. It made our meals so lovely.

Their tuna is gross. It's just mayo and tuna. Lazy excuse for a deli. Would not recommend

Purple Parrot Grill - French fries were good (they are potatoey). I think I'd like a little more crisp to them, but personal preference.

We popped into this restaurant for a Sunday evening meal and happened to arrive about an hour and a…read morehalf before a drag show was scheduled to start. We were seated in a split booth setup in the corner of the restaurant. It felt a little tight walking between the tables, and the seating itself wasn't particularly cushioned/super comfortable. We thought the decor with personalized dollar bills covering the walls was definitely creative, and the low lighting added to the overall dive-bar atmosphere. The bathrooms were gross. The trash was overflowing, and there was an unpleasant smell. Those could definitely use some more cleaning. I only used one of them the single stall rooms but I felt bad because it looked like some of the performers were using the bathrooms to get changed before the show. If the other bathrooms were similar, I wouldn't particularly enjoy having to get ready in there. There were lots of unique mixed drink options that matched theme of the bar. I ordered the "Blueberry Lemonade," which I enjoyed. Some people at our table ordered the "Mudslide" and felt it could have been more chocolate rather than tasting primarily like cookies and cream. The food was actually pretty good. I ordered the "Parrot Burger," while my partner got a Cheesteak. The presentation was nice when everything was brought to the table, and the plates and utensils appeared clean. The only minor note was that someone at our table noticed a gnat taking a swim in her drink at one point, although that could have come from anywhere. The standout item for us was definitely the chicken tenders we ordered as an appetizer. When we recapped the meal the next morning for the people who hadn't gone, those were the item we all agreed were the best! We also listed it as one of the best food items we ordered the whole trip. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the appetizer was served appropriately before our entrées. Service was generally helpful. Despite the restaurant being loud, the servers spoke loudly and clearly enough that we could understand them. However, after finishing the meal, we ended up waiting a while to flag down our server for boxes and to pay the bill. Overall, this is a fun dive-bar experience, especially if you're interested in a late- night spot or the local entertainment, but I wouldn't come here expecting a polished sit-down dining experience. The food was solid and the drinks were vibey.

Ever the food came out quickly!!! The only reason it's four stars is the ambience. It's a little dirty, but that is ok because you know what you are walking into, a place covered in dollar bills and picnic tables in the front. Overall, pretty cool place. I recommend it. 4 Stars
