My husband and I found Mario and Fran on WeddingWire and loved the work they did. Upon meeting them, they were super sweet, personable, and meticulously took notes on our preferences and questions/comments that we had, which I really appreciated. I also loved that they're a husband/wife duo so that they understand the different shots that are important to both the bride and groom, and there's always a male plus a female perspective. One thing that really stood out to me was that they had asked to tag along to our venue for our final consult so that they could scope out the venue and the possible shots. Though they hadn't been to Willow Heights Mansion prior to shooting our videos, I loved that they went above and beyond to make sure they could do the best job possible! They were great on our wedding day and jived well with the photography crew, including hopping over some fences and walking through a vineyard to get some footage away from the mansion! Fast forward after our wedding, we received an email about 8 weeks post-wedding saying our videos were ready! Our video gallery came with a 6-8 minute feature film, a video of the ceremony+vows, a video of all the dinner speeches, and a sneak peak clip. We were extremely happy with the results and loved the footage Mario & Fran took with the music they chose and the seamless transitions. Initially we were concerned that the noisy wind would interfere as our ceremony took place on top of a hill, but it was not an issue at all. Above all, Mario & Fran's prices are extremely reasonable! I came across videographers throughout the Bay Area that were almost double the price of their prices, but I couldn't be happier with how my videos turned out. Mario and Fran are absolute professionals with the kindest dispositions. They were the videographers for my wedding. We had a catholic church wedding with many traditions. I did not notice Mario or Fran at all during the ceremony (which was PERFECT!!). They captured everything beautifully while somehow being flies on the wall of a very special ceremony. Mario and Fran were flexible with our wedding-day schedule, which changed suddenly! Our venue informed us on Friday at 12pm that they could no longer host our wedding reception the next day (Saturday). Mario and Fran were incredibly flexible with the MANY last minute changes on Friday and Saturday. We cannot be more pleased with their services. If you're looking for videographers that not only create incredible videos that will bring you to tears every time you watch them, but who are also amazing people who are so fun to work with, you should absolutely choose Mario and Fran Productions! My husband and I didn't think we needed a videographer until we came across Mario and Fran's work. About two weeks before our wedding we decided we should look into videographers (poor planning on our part). Since we waited until the last minute, we had a very tight budget to work with and weren't having much luck finding anyone we could afford. After almost settling on another videographer, our photographer referred us to Mario and Fran. My husband and I watched one of their videos and found ourselves bawling like babies, so I emailed them ASAP. Lucky for us, all the stars aligned and they were available to do our wedding and meet our budget!! About 2 days before the wedding (remember we booked them super last minute), my husband and I met with Mario and Fran to go over the timeline and details of the day. From that moment on, we ABSOLUTELY knew we picked the perfect videographers. They were friendly, kind, funny, easy to work with and really professional. We could tell that they didn't just look at us as another job. They actually wanted to get to know me and my husband as a couple. It was so refreshing. On the morning of our wedding they arrived on time and starting shooting right away. It's beyond obvious that they both are completely comfortable at what they're doing, as they were able to get amazing shots without distracting our guests -- something you can't say about all videographers. Something that we especially loved about working with Mario and Fran was how they went out of their way to keep us in the loop through email after our wedding was through. It was like Christmas Day reading their updates and getting an idea of when we will receive our videos! About 1.5 months after the wedding they sent us a 20 second teaser video (it definitely teased us), and then a couple weeks after that we had a 6 minute highlight video. It PERFECTLY captured all of our favorite moments from the day. It's a video my husband and I cherish so very much. In addition, we have videos of our full ceremony (this was so special to watch) and all of the speeches. We received DVDs with all of these videos on them (it's a small fee per DVD) as well as a hard drive of all of the raw footage (this was also an extra fee but SO worth it). Mario and Fran also threw in edited videos of our first dance, the father-daughter dance, the mother-son dance, our thank you speech to our guests and our cake cutting -- we LOVE having these and sharing them with family and friends. If we had to do anything again, we would have hired Mario and Fran Productions so much sooner!! They are so INCREDIBLY talented and ABSOLUTELY worth every penny!!! Mario & Fran were an integral part of making our wedding day so special. We married at the Castro Theatre on 4/5/14 and wanted to take advantage of the 47-foot big screen! To make our ceremony an "event", we wanted to play a movie trailer of our engagement under the Eiffel Tower as well as end the ceremony with a short film (not a typical slideshow of pictures). Mario & Fran took the time to meet with us, understand our wedding theme and vision, visit the venue to gain better understanding of the space, and then spend a couple days with us to conduct interviews, and take pictures and video of our life together. They devoted themselves to delivering an experience beyond our wildest imagination. We felt so comfortable with them that we decided to make the finished product a surprise for us as well. We were completely blown away by the outstanding caliber of their work, and our guests said they had never seen anything like it in their lives. in addition to all of the work before the wedding, they did an amazing job of videoing our ceremony and reception, and then creating a variety of video options for us.
