This place is amazing...Jason finished up mounting the large vertical pieces for a group exhibit at the Mitchell Library in New Haven around 5:30 yesterday. Working with him has been a wonderful experience. He is so kind, creative and helpful to everyone and I couldn't be happier. He also framed a piece for the lobby and it came out perfect. I totally trust him! By the way, the 2nd grade art class is having a show at the Orange Library and the mothers and children came in to pick up their framed pieces, one by one at the end of the day. Want to give a shout out to Jason and Framer's Edge. I brought a picture to him that I needed framed for my niece's bridal shower. It held special importance because it belonged to my parents, both of whom recently passed away. My niece was very close to them and we wanted her to have this picture that was special to them as she started her married life. Due to COVID, the materials came in late and Jason really could have said he couldn't meet the deadline. Instead, he received the materials on Friday and stayed until 8 pm to finish the job and dropped it at my home. This was so above and beyond! I just couldn't believe the kindness and dedication he showed to make sure I had this gift. Besides all that, he does an amazing job!!! He quickly helped me to find a near match for a damaged frame, and skillfully suggested the perfect frame for my 1st anniversary gift to my wife (she loves it). I have had many pieces framed by Jason, from a $3.00 clearance bin painting which was matted and framed so beautifully it could be hung in a gallery, to a circa 1960's oil painting done by my husband's deceased dad. The latter piece had been stored in a garage for many years and consequently it was filthy and covered with nicotine film. Between the expert restoration work (the woman he partners with on art restorations does an AMAZING and exacting job) and Jason's creativity with the framing, we restored a piece of family history which is now priceless and will be enjoyed by many future generations. Although Jason will certainly help with exactly what the customer has in mind, please take advantage of his skillful eye and creative suggestions regarding your artwork. If you let him, he is sure to put together a piece perfect in scale, color and mood to fit your unique setting and budget.
