Over a month ago, I checked their website out and compared it to a major corporate store where I've purchased other things at. This store in particular was my first choice and final choice because of what I saw online already. Parking lot is very clean & has designated spots for customers. Walking in, it was quiet and I saw a few people shopping around. I walked up to the lens and camera counter and I was greeted by a pretty cool guy! He asked me what I was looking for, I showed him and asked if we can see if it's compatible with my camera body. He put it on for me and I tried it on. He asked what kind of photography I was into and just had conversation flowing while trying to sell me something. The second sales representative sold me my lens cleaner and microfiber cloth. He was also very nice and helpful! I asked him his personal opinion and I got honesty. I noticed there was a print center so I think I'll be checking it out soon. The store has a variety of different items for your camera needs. Tripods, cameras, lens, memory cards, cleaners, and so much more. I went in there for one thing, and left with more. I payed $166 for the lens, memory card and warranty. Another $9+ for the cleaner and cloth. I believe for the value I paid, I got a good deal. Thank you Milford Photo, I will be back! I was getting married and hired an artist friend of mine to create a watercolor background for our…read moreKetubah (Jewish wedding contract). I did not want to have the wording printed directly on the artwork, as the artwork would also serve as the background for the birth announcements of our future children. After searching for companies that could both scan and print (in high quality) I decided to use Baboo. I was not disappointed. They are located in an unassuming store front on West 20th street. The staff was kind and explained the process they use to ensure the safety of the artwork when scanning. I was able to choose from a decent selection of paper but they also have metal and plexi print options. Once the piece was scanned I received a DVD with the artwork. I was so happy with the scan. I then used Adobe Illustrator to add the wording, saved the file, uploaded it to a jump drive and brought it over to Baboo. I chose a nice thick stock, since the artwork was watercolor i wanted the final print to look as original as possible. A few days later i went to pick up the print. Boy was i surprised, the piece looked just like the original, the scan captured every swish and the printer they used created a final product that looked like it was hand painted all over again.
