We've been coming to this salon since my son turned one, and I truly can't say enough good things about our experience. He has a lot of hair and really doesn't enjoy haircuts, which can make things challenging--but Sarah and Erin are absolutely amazing. They are so patient, kind, and understanding every single time we come in. They take their time to make him feel comfortable, but are also impressively quick--which is exactly what you need with a toddler who doesn't love sitting still. And they still manage to give him such a great haircut every time. We've tried dropping into other salons before, but ended up walking out without a haircut because they just didn't have the same level of patience or care. This place is completely different. We are so grateful for Sarah and Erin--they've made what could be a stressful experience so much easier for our family. Highly recommend, especially for parents with young kids! read more

This was our first visit here and we saw Kendall, who cut my 1 year old's hair. She was quick yet efficient as she knew how to navigate around a crying toddler who does not quite understand the process just yet. When you walk in the salon, it looks like an ordinary adult salon, but if you walk towards the back left, there is a whole room dedicated to kids cuts! There are fun chairs and a plethora of toys and a tv to keep the child occupied and comfortable as best as they can. The cost is very reasonable and comparable to other "kids" salons too. I've been bringing my kids here since 2021they love it. They love their stylists, they love the chairs, and the video games/movies, they love the fidget toys. I love the consistency of the stylists, the front desk staff, the multiple reminders they send (because I really do forget), I love how they have fixed my kids hair many times without judgement. Do not go here, my son has been growing his hair for over 5 years, we told the person we wanted and I quote "as much length as possible still" and just get a trim, we showed a picture and she immediately just cut it all off, she mentioned multiple times that he needs a "boy's haircut" and didn't seem to care at all what he or I asked for, he's VERY upset, like devastated, he was growing his hair for over half his life, I will never come here again and would encourage all parents to go anywhere but here, years of growth and my son just has to say goodbye because the stylist decided on something else or was distracted or incompetent or didn't care, either way its beyond unacceptable and it's even more unacceptable after reading multiple reviews saying similar things, the whole thing was insanely rushed as well, from walking in the door to leaving was 19 minutes, edit for clarity: our stylist was Katy R this was our first time with her. read more

My 2 year old daughter got her first salon haircut at this place and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The ambience is so well set up for young kids! The toys, the chairs and tv playing kids movies are perfect. The best part was our stylist Erin who clearly is a pro with kids! Fantastic first time experience! This was my 4yo sons first professional haircut and we will definitely be returning to see Kendall. I really appreciated how flexible Kendall was in meeting my sons needs and ensuring he had a positive initial experience. I will point out that my son was incredibly nervous and shy. He tried all the different vehicle chairs and ended up feeling most comfortable sitting on the ground playing with toys under the tv, with his favorite show playing. Without any hesitation, Kendall met him where he was at and completed the entire cut working around him on the floor. She was smooth and efficient with her clippers, had a positive and upbeat attitude the entire time. The cut turned out great just in time for school photos! Would recommend this salon for any kiddos who are nervous. The private back room for children was perfectly tailored for a successful appointment. From the princess and super hero decals on the walls, to the nice quality chairs the kids get to sit in, all the major streaming apps to find the perfect show, and a shelf full of fun toys and fidget options to help distract. Very busy salon with lots of people even on a weekday in the middle of the day. We made an appointment online so we were able to get in quickly. It was for my son's first haircut and they did so well with him. They have a cute kids area with lots of distractions and fun cars, trucks, and planes for them to sit in while they get their haircut. Ok I have three boys age 16.6.2 so I have give to a lot of places to cut my kids hair. Truthfully I didn't think it was worth the money so I started having my husband cut all three kids hair and wow how much money we must have saved over all the years!!! Lol My 16 year old it's fast for my husband to do but my two smaller kids he said cutting the hair with scissors takes FOREVER and he didn't want to do anymore So my 6 year old son hair got so so long we put a beanie hat on him for school lol I decided to finally find a place and went here for the first time today! My 6 year old was a little nervous but the kids room with all the different stuff to sit in was great he picked the airplane They also had a kids movie on and I think that helps a lot!!! The young lady doing my sons hair she had blue hair was so patient and carful and I really really appreciate it. He went in saying we could only cut with scissors but she make him so comfortable he used for the first time the clippers to get a nice short cut and now I can finally see my son face :) I really recommend this place and now thinking about getting my hair cut and color ( it's been three plus years for me haha :) We will be back again and next time I'll take my two year old son once his hair grows long enough ( his dad cut it last time ) lol read more

We were referred to Frances Grace Salon by a friend after Bella and Max moved too far away from us. My friend has three daughters who all have different hair types (curly/straight/fine/thick) and their haircuts are always the cutest. My son was just a baby when we started going to Frances Grace, and the stylists understood my desire to keep his hair baby-ish while still clearing the ears and eyes. My 4 year old has a crazy amount of thick hair, and her haircuts are always even, and she leaves there with a cute braid and ribbon. We have seen both Katy and Alison on multiple occasions and they are both very talented and patient with the little ones. They get that kids will be kids and never seem frustrated when someone is having a meltdown. They remember us and are always nice to chat with. They have a nice amount of toys available for distraction, and a special room with kid chairs that look like a Barbie car, tractor or airplane. Disney movies play in the background. This salon also recently updated their website and offers online scheduling with is such a nice convenience. You can specify stylist, time, or both. Cuts run about $25 and are worth every penny. There is ample parking and the salon is in an easy location to get to. No stairs or elevators for you to lug your stroller up. I am so happy to have found both Alison and Katy and am thankful to all of the staff at Frances Grace Salon. read more

They have cute seats to pick from make it as fun as they can. I suggest bringing snacks and their favorite show to help as much as possible too. Pinterest fail. I've taken my son to Frances Grace Salon about 3-4 times. Our last appointment was the last time we'll be going back. My husband took my son for a haircut. The time before we had to go back to FGS for a fix - crooked bangs. I included a pic this time (like the time before). When my husband sent a photo of his haircut afterward I was shocked. Not only did it look nothing like the pic I included, but bangs were crooked again and very short. I asked the salon to fix it and there wasn't much they could do since his hair was now too short. I get that we cannot always have what we ask for. I was hoping for something similar to the pic. I think it should be the stylists responsibility to set expectations. Let us know if we are asking for the impossible before beginning. Nobody likes to be surprised in a bad way! I did speak with the manager and she was apologetic. I appreciated that she cared. However, my son is stuck with an unintentionally hilarious haircut for the holidays. I can't wait for his hair to grow back. read more

This is a very fun and cute place for kids to go get their haircut. They have airplanes, tractors, and other cute seats the kids get to pick from and they have toys and a video going. My only objection is that my stylist only spent 10 minutes on my little one's hair and charged 30.00. I wasn't thrilled with the shape afterwards- her hair barely looked like it had been cut. The salon is great if you have a child who just needs a trim. It's a little overpriced for that, but it's a fun experience for them with video games and cute chairs and what not. But if you need anything more complex, go elsewhere. My child came in for her first "real" grown-up haircut and left looking like she had chopped her hair herself. Literally, since she got her haircut people have been asking me if my daughter cut her own hair. Now I'm taking her to my own stylist to get it fixed. So yeah, fine for something simple but go elsewhere for anything more than a trim. read more

I have been taking my son here for the last year! He's just 3 as of the end of April. He has some sensory issues with noises, & is a TOUGH client! The 2 times BEFORE we found the OASIS that's is FRANCES GRACE SALON, it took 3 adults to help cut his hair! He now LOVES it, and they've never once made me feel bad about his previous issues, but they've gained his trust (hard to do) and have the most incredible Kid's area ever! What a great treat to the Mill Creek Community?! It's mind blowing that more people aren't lined up out the door for their services! My son always looks so cute, and is so proud to sport his new hair when he gets it cut! He, like myself might be blonde, but it's SUPER thick, despite the changing baby hair, to little boy hair! AMAZING, & top notch (owned by Estèe Lauder) cruelty free, no silicons, mineral oils or alcohol; so very good for all hair types! Also, lasts when used correctly; trust me! **NOBODY should ever leave without having the Bumble and Bumble "Hairdressers Invisible Oil" probably what got me through without looking like a broom on my head for the time between my haircuts! I've come many times and some visits have been better than others. I've been extremely happy with Tina and her haircuts for my daughter. She has tricky hair. It's very thick and grows quickly. Tina takes the time and it shows. She is so kind and friendly with kids and always offers to do something fun for a style at the end. My only negative is that the price includes a wash and dry but only if you ask for it. First time we went- we loved it. I don't remember who did it but you can tell she was seasoned and was good! She offered us drinks, our bows in my girls hair. Excellent first time! 5 stars initially. Second time however was terrible- it was someone different and I don't think she knew what she was doing. My daughters bangs were uneven and we asked her to fix them and yet we left and they were still messed up. She screwed some things up with my sons hair too. Never offered anyone drinks or anything. I was highly disappointed in how my sons haircut turned out here, Tina did an awful job. I asked if she could do a "fohawk" and she said yes no problem! Well first off his hair looked absolutely nothing like what I asked for, the sides were uneven and had lines all over, and she thinned out the top of his hair so much you could see through it completely when it got wet. I tracked down our 2yo son's hairdresser to Frances Grace Salon and, as usual, I was not disappointed with the service we received. Katy is a patient, kind and observant hair stylist who definitely exudes a calmness of someone with years of experience working with toddlers and little kids. My son doesn't get his hair cut often so he finds it overwhelming in the beginning. Katy knows just the right things to say to help him relax and let her get to work. Regarding the rest of the salon, we were greeted immediately with a huge smile, promptly brought into a separate kids area, away from the main salon and what greeted us were the cutest little kids hairdressing chairs and my son was given a big bucket of little cars to play with. They also had a tv for movies if that's something your kid needs to help them sit still. We'll be back again for sure. read more
