Omg delicious! My boyfriend has been talking about this place for months. Feels like you stepped back in time walking in. We ordered fried calamari that was so fresh, crispy and tasty. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp as well with there own homemade dressing. That's the only way we like it. Finally we got the chicken Parm and it was perfect, melty and the perfect amount of sauce. We split everything and it was the perfect amount of food! Thanks for a great meal! read more

Francesco's is our go-to Family restaurant. With a 1.5 year old we don't get out much... but we never worry about going to Francescos. The food is great, huge portions so we always have leftovers and the waitresses are always nice. They are super accommodating to our family with a noisy toddler and always make us feel welcome. Just enjoyed our take out order of Francescos Special (eggplant and veal parmigiana with spaghetti and salad). We phoned in our order, drove up and had our order brought to our car within minutes. I was with a party of 15. I ordered a calzone to go because I am a vegetarian and their other dishes I didn't find to be very good. We come here every show for Brimfield at least once. As we approached we saw the owner actually physically striking another patron in the parking lot. We were told it was due to the couple ordering pizza at the bar and eating it in house during the show. No matter the issue it is literally insane to physically assault a customer. The food is definitely sub par Italian with terrible service. The owner is terribly rude and there is no excuse to ever hit a customer. Craziest dining experience. read more

One thing I like about Francesco's is how the portions and sizes are more than generous! A medium feels like a large and a large feels like an extra large! Also the toppings are evenly distributed! First and LAST time eating here. I ordered the Baked Haddock Special $17.00 . The Fish ? was Tasteless and Mushy , Probably Microwaved . Tonight was my second trip here. My firs was 4 years ago and I swore I would never come back. Tonight was a family occasion, so no choice. The food is terrible. Large portions do not make up for absolutely the worst Italian I have ever had. My clam chowder was disgusting. It was full of Parmesan or Romano cheese and inedible. My fettuccine Alfredo had so much Parmesan again, it was so bad. I don't even know if I would feed it to my dog, truthfully! The calamari is always very chewy and overcooked I don't understand how this place continues to attract a reasonable crowd. It must be the only restaurant for miles and the only way to truly enjoy your food is to get smashed beforehand DO NOT EAT HERE - KEEP DRIVING! read more

The only edge this restaurant has os Monday hours. Don't bother even then, the food quality is low and microwaving entrees is an obvious practice. The dining room sounds like a loud apartment party with bad acoustics. At least the service is on par with the rest of experience. read more

Went for Fathers Day because this is the one of the few places my husband will eat red sauce out. We wish we had not!! We waited at the door for a couple minutes while waitressea ran around us. We were seated in a back corner behind a VERY LARGE party with 2 babies. We had water within a couple minutes, soda a few after that at which time we asked to change tables. The waitress told us it would take time until they cleaned one off. I wondered why we could not use one of the many empty clean ones we passed. We did not bother and just did not talk to each other. It took 25 minutes for anything to come to the table and it was wrong. The calamari was horrible, we got a double order and it barley fed my son and tasted frozen and was rubbery. When our meal came my son's was wrong, when I questioned the waitress she said she wrote down veal cutlet not veal parm and the fry's that came with it were not cooked. We also ordered a Veal Parm sandwich to go at the same time as our meal, I asked for the veal on the side with the bread to go so it would not be soggy, we had to wait for it and when it came it was on a sub roll and burnt. The waitress could not even hear me tell her it was wrong because of the noise, when she figured out what the issues was she fixed it within a few minutes. VERY DISAPPOINGING and probably will not go back for a while, its too bad, the prices are great and we love the veal. read more

My wife and I, along with 2 friends, went to Francesco's for dinner on Friday 11/8/13. I had baked haddock, one had veal parmesan and the 2 others had eggplant parmesan. We all enjoyed our dinners.and the prices were reasonable. But I would strongly suggest that they add some sound absorbing material such as curtains or other sound absorbing things as it was VERY loud inside. No frills Italian eatery. Portions are extremely large....too much sauce on everything....no WOW factors here...except..prices are very modest. For $14..i had a huge veal parm portion..side of spaghetti..and a cup of cream of broccoli soup. I thought my veal dish was above average. Wife not as happy. she had eggplant parm($14.50)...said it tasted "mushy" and wasn't thrilled..but did enjoy her side of ziti and her small salad. Servers seem like high school girls...all extremely nice and friendly. the bread they give you comes out hot and deliciously fresh. This isn't a gourmet spot...but you aren't paying gourmet prices. We have always been a fan of this restaurant. Today changed everything. My husband and I recently moved to CA because of work. We were having a reunion with the girls from a team my husband coached. Their parents came too. We originally were meeting at a different place so my husband and I got there first and ordered our food. When everyone got there we decided instead to go to Francesco's. We got our food to go and 12 of us went to Francesco's. We brought our food in but ordered wine and beer. Everyone else ordered food and drink. Pizza was bought as well as dinners. After we were just about finished eating the mother of the owner came over and started yelling at my husband and I for bringing food in. The whole restaurant was staring at us. She insulted us and started to walk away. I asked her to please let me explain and at first she wouldn't but finally came back and put her nose to the air and would not look at me. She said it was no excuse and the waitress should have made us leave. 10 people ate from our table and we all ordered drinks. It was very embarrassing. Everyone there said they had never felt so insulted and would never return. Our waitress had apparently been reprimanded and I apologized to her. She was very sweet and said not to worry. Needless to say I felt so bad for her. I will never go there again. So rude,so embarrassing. Had we been told not to eat the food in the restaurant, we would have not brought it in. She waited until we were done. Terrible experience. A great time was ruined by this insensitive woman. read more

That special sandwich with the ham, eggplant, and veal parm was reallyyy good. The red sauce was on point the the bread was perfect and crispy. It was really hot and delicious when it came and it had the perfect cheese, it was just perfect. and it's only 8$... If I lived anywhere near here id eat this all the time. We often get take out pizza from Francesco's and it's delicious. When we decide to eat in the restaurant we are never disappointed. We usually get veal parm and veal saltimbocca which we are always happy with. When we eat out we often bring our daughter who is in a wheelchair. This restaurant is very accommodating as far as space and our daughter's needs. read more

We are regulars at Francesco's at Brimfield. We enjoy the service and the food is good. However during this Brimfield stay we went to eat at Francesco's for dinner. We were told by the parking attendant that we were able to eat pizza inside for dinner. We were happy with this news. Even when we told her that we were previously under the impression that we could not eat pizza in the dining room she assured us that we could. When we went inside and asked to be seated and wondered if we could order a pizza and explained what the attendant had told us we were told we could not. Even as we explained the situation the hostess was rude and kept shutting us down. She told us that we would have to order it to go. We found this ridiculous seeing as the restaurant was practically empty and there should not have been any issues. Being in the hospitality business myself, I would normally assume the customer is always right but at Francesco's this is apparently not the case. In the future I would expect that the service be better and that if a customer is told that they can do something by one employee that another employee not rudely tell them they cannot. Very disappointing. I would expect more from a restaurant that caters to so many. read more

I love Francesco's pizza!! It's the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The dough isn't too thick or too thin, and is tasty because they put a light layer of olive oil and garlic on the top before the toppings. It's delicious, and every variety they offer is as well, especially the pepperoni. The restaurant is somewhat in the middle of nowhere, but if you're in the area, you HAVE to try it! read more

This is a great family place (save for the Masshole table next to us dropping loud f-bombs in front of my kids.) The food is classic old school Italian -- not North Italian foodie favorites but lots of Parmigiana options and everything served on Spaghetti or Ziti. The "fried Mozzarella" comes as squares vs sticks, which makes for a better quality appetizer. My wife got the Veal Saltimbocca, which is usually my favorite, but this was not the best I'd seen. It was rolled, which is indeed more old school, and not out of this world, but still pretty good. I got the Veal Parmigiana which was the best I have had in recent memory. The kids had Spaghetti and Meatballs, which was good and what you'd expect. The prices were great -- the most expensive thing on the menu was $14 and both the Veal Parm and Saltimbocca were the same price. The portions were generous, as were the drinks, and everything was good. I am tempted to give it 5 / 5 stars but I am trying to hold back a bit, but for a family style Italian restaurant I can't imagine how you could do any better than this place. read more

Dining in is fine. When you call your order in, the girls that work there are extremely rude. Most of the time the food is incorrect. Again, tried calling for an order tonight and found the girl on the phone extremely rude. Perhaps you should hire people with personality. We live in town and we love Francesco's food we just don't like Francesco's phone service and the fact that we get incorrect orders too many times to count.
