After initially avoiding responsibility, the owner eventually admitted the damage occurred while the truck was in their possession and agreed to repair it. At the owner's request, I dropped the truck off again on a Friday and was told it would be ready Monday or Tuesday. Instead, every single day there was another excuse and another promise that it would be done "tomorrow." After days of delays, I finally asked for a firm completion date and time. The owner assured me it would be ready Thursday morning. When I went to pick it up Thursday afternoon, my truck wasn't even at the shop. I was then told it was at his friend's house in Allentown. I made it clear multiple times that I own and operate a business and that this truck is essential to my livelihood. Despite knowing that, there was no apparent urgency, communication, or concern about returning my vehicle within the promised timeframe. What started as a simple body repair turned into my vehicle being damaged while in their care, repeated broken promises, constant excuses, missed deadlines, and ultimately discovering my truck wasn't even where I was told it would be. The lack of professionalism, accountability, communication, and respect for a customer's time has been extremely disappointing. If you value honest communication, keeping commitments, and knowing where your vehicle is, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I hadn't complained and honestly didn't mind waiting, but that gesture spoke volumes. Some might see waiting as an inconvenience worth some sort of refund/reward, but given all of the circumstances I noted earlier, I see that as a sign of a small business thriving. So, to me, this gesture showed me how much they truly value their customers and how committed they are to creating a positive experience worth returning to. The fact that they went above and beyond only confirmed why Ciao has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. And can't forget... the cheesecake was also great!
