They actually cook the pizza on the stone which in my opinion the true way to make a pizza, the crust, sauce, and cheese were perfectly balanced with nice slices. We stopped in for a team dinner after calling and being advised they could seat and service 25+ people. I don't know if I would say it can accommodate 25 people or that it has about 25 seats for the whole business. But they were amazing with what we needed. They were able to make pizza, wings, keep track of drinks and overall a very friendly and speedy. The pizza was delicious! The BBQ wings so good. The restroom was clean once found. This was a pleasant surprise. We went to the Marcy location to support a business we heard was supporting our community after a Tornado ripped through our area. What made it even more compelling was the business owner despite losing his store in Rome was helping to feed those who lost everything. The Pizza here was amazing this coming from a very picky Pizza person.. and the wings were extra crispy just the way we like them. They do offer dine in though it seemed most of their business was to go... but we dined in as there is nothing better than a pie right out of the oven. Staff were very respectful and helpful even though we were the only family eating at that time in this hole in the wall pizzeria off river road beside candllelas green house we weren't treated like crappy customers they checked in between their own work like family they serve great pizza with big slices! What I got was the sampler of apps there were a ton of apps on my plate I had to take some home My brother in law got 2 huge slices of their pizza which while I didn't have pizza on this trip It looked like it was good. Been going to big jays for a while now and have loved everything they put out. But today was over the top with customer service, my order was wrong when I got home, so I called to let them know I got the wrong pizza. Now I understand mistakes happen so I was expecting to have to go back and pick up the right pizza. But without hesitation they made me a new pizza and delivered it quickly. I went to Big Jay's in Rome. I wondered how their menu could be so extensive, well I found out. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was disgusting. Putting pizza sauce on pasta is not spaghetti. Rather than letting the order go as is, they went out of their way to remake it. The food is consistently good, but there pizza is wonderful. I am always trying to find the "perfect pizza" and this is it! Jay is there to help out his staff and takes time to visit with customers to make sure their meal is as ordered.
