First off, this place is a little gem. The service is what this place is known for, among other things. Now let's go to the food: Soup of the day - mushroom soup was delicious. Highly recommend it. Turkado panini - turkey, cheese, tomato, avocado and wait for it.. crisp bacon! Delicious. I actually finished all my it before the person next to me finish half their salad. Chicken salad olivieh - so good, reminds me of my friends mom's dish! Desserts Carrot cake - delicious. Very moist. Bessie's cookies plain and with chocolate - my favorite The price for the cookies and cake are so reasonable that you don't see cookies for .50 cents . It's so delicious that you want to buy more! This is a great quiet spot for lunch and dinner! I can't wait to try other dishes from here.

Really spectacular little restaurant on Green Bay Road. Great personal service and delicious food. The clam chowder was very good as was the bread and the delicious quiche. We intend to visit often. Very pleasant lunch experience

First indoor dining experience since COVID hit. What a wonderful find this was on a mid week lunch when husband decided to take a day off of work. Completely comfortable here as staff are all wearing masks. Masks are requires of guests upon entry. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We ordered a bottle of Bordeaux for lunch which hit the spot. I had the french onion soup to start which was so flavorful. My husband ordered the pate (not my thing) but he said delish. For lunch I ordered the chicken salad on their homemade bread very good. And my husbands ordered the Nicoise salad which he said was delicious. This is a cute little french spot and I'll surely be back! Bon Appetit!

    Food and celebration!

We got the burger and truffle fries to share, along with / rolls and the karrage chicken. The burger was good with the caramelized onions but nothing significant to write home about. My favorite items though were the truffle fries, and the hot honey karaage we asked for the honey on the side so that we're able to share with our little but it was super crispy, and the chicken bites were juicy and delicious it didn't even need the honey. I truthfully don't love pickles but the pickles were delicious and I ate them all! The sushi rolls were both really fresh and had great flavor. Overall a good experience I'd like to come back during regular hours to try their regular menu. We were a bit disappointed that the only available menu was the happy hour one which was pretty limited.

The cinnamon roll was surprisingly moist (we were skeptical due to its appearance) and sweet! The restaurant is bright and the service was very friendly. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our celebration feel extra special. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with such a romantic atmosphere. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Our server, Nathan, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which really showed how much they care about their guests. I've dined at much more expensive restaurants before, and I've honestly never experienced this level of hospitality. The food was incredible 10/10! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The portions were generous, and I couldn't even finish my meal because there was so much delicious food. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the outstanding service to the beautiful ambiance and amazing food, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Nathan and the entire team for making our anniversary so memorable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

We came for an evening with friends and decided to take advantage of the Sunday "per la famiglia…read more(serves four)" special when we saw the menu. What looked like a generous offer of comfort food at a reasonable price, at a lovely Italian restaurant, was actually a gimmick worthy of Ebenezer Scrooge. Dinner started with a tasty chopped salad that would have been a reasonable entree for one or enough to share as an appetizer for two. It was a large spoonful each for four. The four garlic knots that accompanied the salad were each about 2x2x2 inches, and when we asked for a refill of both the salad and bread we were told "that's all you get." The spaghetti came with 2 meatballs in a portion size that looked like it was enough for an entree for only 1 person. We waited a moment and when no more came realized we were screwed. Later, seeing our disappointment, the waiter was kind enough to secretly get 2 more meatballs out of the kitchen for us to pretend there were portions for each person at the table. Had they been serving Italian tapas, maybe we could have pretended it was a fair approach. The 16 inch cheese pizza was good but nothing special and the tiramisu provided 4 small pieces a little larger than the garlic knots mentioned earlier when cut into squares. I don't know what kind of "famiglia" Salvatore "Sal" Lo Cascio, the culinary director at Ballyhoo Hospitality, or Ryan O'Donnell, the CEO, have; but they probably don't eat very much. Perhaps they expect the famiglia of their guests to be a single parent with young children or a group of little persons. In short, the food tasted good, the dining room was lovely, the service was outstanding, and the portions and prices were a complete rip-off to the point that the place should be put out of business. With two iced teas, a glass of house wine, tax and a generous tip the bill came to well over $100 and this morning when checking the receipt for this review I found out that they charged us $8.00 for the extra meatballs which the waiter pretended were a secret, complimentary addition. Not very nice!
