I highly do not recommend doing business with this company. I can't go into all the details because I am debating legal action. They employ techs who are either unqualified or just don't care. If you contact the office with an issue, they speak to you like they are doing you a favor. Recently they subbed out service calls to somewhere in Georgia, odd for a local business. In my experience the only way to get them to call you when you have an issue is to stop paying them. They will contact you as soon as they don't get paid; but will act confused as to why you aren't paying them for a service that you didn't receive. read more

I guess I'm simple. I want to pay a reasonable rate for oil, and get exemplary service when needed. Over the last 15+ years, I've had fast, high quality service. Their service staff seem highly skilled and provided great explanations for the services performed and things to keep an eye on. I have been a full service customer with Lamparelli Oil for 4 years with my current house and 20 years with my previous house. I get automatic delivery of oil and I budget that over 12 months which is my preference. No surprises. In my old house I had the need to request emergency service for "no heat" situations (of course - this tended to occur on night, weekends, holidays) with two young children in the house. There is no worse feeling than knowing you have no heat! Lamparelli staff were always prompt (I always get a live person answer the phone) and courteous and at my door within an hour or two max. I purchase the annual service contract which includes an annual cleanout plus all needed repairs (even emergencies) are covered. This brings me tremendous peace of mind. I later decided to invest in a new boiler (because my old system broke down so often!) and I went to Lamparelli for that as well. They gave me a zero interest loan and my new sysytem was expertly installed and I did not have any problems with the new system from that day onward. Could I save a few dollars with a budget oil delivery service? Yes, of course! But they will not be there for me in an emergency like Lamparelli will. Believe me, I learned that lesson the hard way! So, I give my loyalty to them and they provide top notch service to me. I like supporting a locally owned family business and I hope they stay in business for many, many years. read more

We have been a customer of Frank Lamparelli for 7 years. Our furnance is on the older end and had some issues in recent years, including when it went out on Christmas Eve last year. We had been visiting family overnight and came back to the house and it was 40 degrees and falling. We were in a panic thinking no one would come out to help on holiday, but sure enough we gave them a call and within a couple hours they had sent a service tech to repair it and they got our heat back up and running. That guy was honestly a hero that night. While I don't enjoy paying heating oil bills (let's face it, who does?), this company is very professional, reliable and, most importantly, there when you need them. read more

I lost my heat last night 3 o'clock in the morning they were here first thing this morning just left up and running what more could I ask! This is happened to me before on New Year's Eve 6 PM and One of the owners himself Michael lamparelli came to my house and fixed my furnace and started me up. We have had Lamporelli Oil for many years and they have always served us well. During the night, my thermostat had plunged from 69 to 59. I was due for a maintenence check on Dec. 16, 2020, but due to high demand, they had to cancel and reschedule to Jan. 13, 2021. However, becuse of my problem w/the drastic temp. drop, I called them immediately and within one-half hour to 45 min., the technician (Rick) arrived. The problem was more complicated than just changing a filter; he had to replace the pump mechanism device, as well. We have been a customer for roughly 10 years. In an area where the competition is strong, the 10 years should explain the 5 stars. The service is exceptional. Proactive, on time, courteous, trustworthy and skilled. They did the install on both my boiler and water heater and both work without issue. Oil shows up when I need it and they take the initiative to schedule the annual tuneups. I never have to think about this stuff - they drive the whole process leaving me time to worry about more important things. Wish more things could work that way. From cost perspective, they are a full service dealer so you pay the full service price. Sometimes I'm tempted to to go cheaper. Realistically I could probably save a couple of hundred bucks over a year or two but at this point I feel the extra cost is worth it. read more

We can always count on Lamparelli to come through in a time of need. This winter our boiler decided to stop working. Lamparelli was there the same day with boiler options and space heaters to keep us warm until installation. We were back to full warmth from our new boiler within two days. I called the number for Frank Lamparelli Oil and was told by their answering service that they would only respond to an emergency if I was a "regular" customer. I left my name and contact info and hoped they would at least call me so I could discusss the problem. I never heard back from them. Very poor and unprofessional. Don't count on Frank Lamparelli Oil in an emergency! (I certainly won't be calling them again for a quote for the new furnace I plan to have installed in my home). read more

We woke up this morning to 59 degrees and the boiler not clicking in. called Lamparelli about 6:15am and my heat was back on before 8:30. I have been using this company for 23 years and they are great! This was my 3rd emergency call in that time and they were here right away. A few years ago it was around 11:30 pm and my boiler started making loud noises, they sent someone was out within the hour. The other Oct. 2006 when our boiler cracked and died. We had a new boiler installed within 48 hours. Our oil delivery is consistent and every year they call to set up the annual service. They stay on top of things so we don't have to. read more

Paid for air conditioner service ($150) and had them look at my 2 zone heating system to see if improvement could be made for better air circulation in certain rooms (another $150). Service man totally messed everything up and coincidentally a part broke the same day so I had no air conditioner. They had to come back the next day to replace the part (another $107.84) and the manager insisted that this broken part was not related to work done...really??? His defense is that he didn't charge for the labor on day 2 only the part. Seriously !!! read more

My mother has had a contract with Lamparelli for many years, on Christmas morning the heat in her home stopped working. I called the office at 9 am and left a message with the answering service. Within 15 minutes we received a call from Dan the service tech and he was at the house within an hour. Unfortunately, the furnace needed a part and it was not available until the next day. Dan was back at the house first thing in the morning and had the furnace working. Seeing that my Mom is elderly, Dan gave her top priority. I will never recommend any one for this company,I am a senior single female,I signed a service contract and home oil delivery with this company,because they have good reputation in Canton,which is where I live.then my oil burner broke,they come few times ,every time only work for couple of weeks final, it leak oil,so I trusted them and purchase a complete new heating system from them,cost me $6000, I thought with new system I will have a peace of mind.instead I get myself into a nightmare,they sucontract the installation to someone else, after the installation, I smell oil,they come in and check told me there is a tiny oil leak on the burner, they tighten and clean the oil.it still smell,then they come in again, replace the duct to the chimney,the smell gone,then the burner keep running every 10 min,2 days later,the whole system dead at midnight with frigit temperature,they came in,told me the switch in the house not working,so they replaced it. It is working but burner still turn on every so often, I will see when is it going to break down again,I feel like they intentional to mess it up,since I know nothing about the system.fix one thing then breaks others.i will file a complaint to the attorney General tomorrow. read more

Called on Dec. 31 after waking up without heat and the furnace not working. They installed the furnace and had done the tune ups so I called them first. I was informed since I used a different supplier for oil ( because I can't afford their oil) they couldn't service us today or tomorrow with it going into the holiday. I am a regular customer; Lamparelli Oil is the best. We have an older furnace that has broken down a few times and Lamparelli has always taken good care of us. We even had to have a tech come out on Super Bowl Sunday a couple of years ago and he fixed it happily and without complaint. We have an infant and once a tech had to come out late on a very busy, very freezing night. He couldn't give it a full repair until he could get a couple of parts, but he managed to get it running to hold over until then and he gave me his cell number to call at any hour if it went out again. His quote to me was that he "stands behind his work," and we have definitely had that experience with Lamparelli. I don't see us ever leaving them and they will be the first people we call when we get a new furnace. read more
