I love Stoysich and have been going there for over 15 years. I was in the neighborhood for 13 years and was happy to be so close. I live in Papillion now, but still try to stop by from time to time. They're always so nice and welcoming to everyone. Gotta keep supporting these local family run businesses. I know it can be more expensive, but it feels good to support local, receive wonderful service and get great products.

A Hungarian Family Tradition. Great collection of Central and Eastern European foods. Very courteous meat counter and awesome smoked meat bunker. Smoked Turkey breasts and drumsticks, smoked pork butt and smoked whiting etc. An awesome collection of sauerkraut. My favourite Bavarian kraut and caraway. Polish, Czech, Dutch and German beer. Czech it out!

I have passed by this location a thousand times not knowing it was an actual grocery store, I thought it was the Stoysich office building. I have been to the other Stoysich but not Frank's, hearing they had good Andouille and next Friday being National Gumbo Day I had to make a trip. Upon entering I ran into Frank Jrs wife and met their sisters and she started sharing stories. She saw I was checking out their award winning ham so she brought over samples, not one but two slices. I started looking around and unexpectedly found a nice European beer section. One of the sisters came over and talked beer for a while. Saturday afternoon and this place was packed, there were about 8 people waiting to get some meats but plenty of people behind the counter to help. I got a Ukranian beer and some Andouille and before getting to check out I was given some Andouille recipes. This trip was an experience in itself, such a small store but full of friendly surprises. I will return often.

OMG. I stop by every time I go to Omaha, and fortunately that's fairly often due to work. I need to remember to bring a cooler. This visit I discovered pickled smoked Polish sausage. I try something new every visit, and pick up some favorites. Yum!

The best Stoysich in Omaha, I used to love the draw of the one on 24th as it looked ethnic but the product is much better on 50th & Q.

I've never been to the Stoysich House of Sausage so I can't compare the two, but this place was wonderful.

I just learned about this place and wish I would've known about a years ago! They have the best…read moremeat counter and the nicest staff! We tried a couple samples and bought several things to take home. I'm sure we will be back!

What a gem of a butcher shop. Family owned and run for several generations, apparently grandpa came…read moreover from the old country and didnt speak any English but boy could he make sausage. a shop was born and its been in the family ever since. We spoke with his daughter who now runs the store and she was so incredibly nice. Everything is made in-house and the love and care shows. We were just passing through but knew our next hotel had a bbq so we bought several varieties of sausage to try (fresh polish, smoked polish, garlic and fennel, german, hot dog plus some bacon, jerky and snack sticks). Our favorites? We loved both versions of the Polish sausage and the bacon....5 stars for those. 4.5 stars for the Italian fennel and garlic and 4-stars for the remaining items. If we lived here, we'd be regulars for sure. Apparently there is a huge festival that make all the sausage for. Its amazing that they hand make all those sausages for this festival. What a treat! If I am ever in town when that is happening, I am going! Sorry I don't recall the name of the festival. I had planned on taking pictures of the grilled sausages but I forgot until after I cut them up. The next day I cooked up the remaining sausage and completely forgot to take pics. The best (and most flavorful) way to experience this post is to go the the butcher shop, buy, grill and eat these sausages and bacon...:-).
