This place was a chance find as we were walking by. We had placed a reservation somewhere else, and wanted to walk around and honestly, the single glimpse of the restaurant, with the outdoor seating and wonderful sunshine that made the place look irresistible, we stopped. Took a look at the menu, and canceled our reservation at the previous place. We were promptly seated outside by a kind woman named Olivia. The sun being too hard and having forgotten my sunnies, I was wondering if I should sit inside. Olivia immediately suggested we get an umbrella. It made so much sense as we wanted to eat out in the Sunshine and the cool winds. We ordered the Giambatto, the Lemon Pancakes, the Italian Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Milanese. Yes, we were hungry and the menu was so tempting!!!! The food matched the tall order. Everything looked incredibly delicious; the portion sizes were great, the service impeccable and I will treasure the experience for a long long time. The Eggs Benedict deserve a special mention- I would come back for it again. It was unique and tasted like heaven! The Giambatto was nice-a very heavy omelette that we ate the next day for breakfast. The Chicken Milanese is a chef's kiss. And that pasta with the tomato sauce!! It felt like a nonna's hug! The Lemon Pancakes were beautiful but I think we were too full to enjoy everything!!!!!!! During our meal, we asked for coffee, but unfortunately they didn't have oatmilk. The coffee came with cream and a side of Almond Biscotti that tasted like a dream . We were celebrating a special day- me and my husband, and I was treating him that afternoon. I am so glad that we found this place-the ambiance was just right, the service deserves a special mention and I am so happy. I got the garlic parm wings and they were fantastic! They came out so hot I couldn't even take my first bite for a few minutes. You can't beat fast service! The fun doesn't stop at wings on this happy hour menu. They also offer, personal pizza's, bruschetta, chicken slider's, and so much more! Now for the drinks! In all honesty, I would love to see more options for happy hour (as of now they only offer and Aperol Spritz as a cocktail and wine and beer deals). It was a perfect Saturday and on a whim we decided to go out for dinner. We were able to score reservations thru RESY on the patio. We had heard good things about this place and were excited to go. Our reservations were for 6:30. We got there about five minutes beforehand and people were still seated at our table. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and the bartender recommended that we order their famous meatball that is only made by the owner every few months, so when it's on the menu, you grab it. Once we were seated (only waited 10 minutes) we took his advice. Wow, he was right! Super fresh, bit spicy sauce, but chilled ricotta on the side which was perfect! The evening was so comfortable that we just enjoyed each dish as it came. Terrific waitress with good input into dish suggestions. Their risotto changes weekly and it was delicious. I was craving shrimp scampi and I was not disappointed, especially with the fresh bread for dipping. Got my gnocchi to go- so good! It's ricotta gnocchi so it's nice and light. Pomodoro sauce had a little spice to it, but manageable for someone who doesn't love spicy sauce. Mom only turns 75 once so make it memorable which Frankie Primos did. We had the front table outside which fit our group of 11 (Brody included) nicely. Our server was attentive and did a great job of checking on some of the questions we had regarding then menu. A great lesson for any service job, if you don't know the answer, do not guess! Just go and ask someone from the kitchen, a customer would always rather wait for the correct answer. Started with with calamari, Mexican corn, arancini, and the "small" charcuterie board. Lots of tasty options and we finished almost everything. Arancini was moist with a great crispy crust that paired well with the sauce it was in. The board had a ton of options, little bit of this, little bit of that, plenty of sensuous salted meats to choose from which complimented the nice combination of soft and hard cheeses. More delicious olives please! Dinner choices included the Chicken Milanese, angel hair pasta, an eggplant special, pizza, some sandwiches, and the steak & tortellini. The empty plates indicated that everyone was well fed and satisfied with their meal. We did save room for dessert which was a perfect finish to a great evening. Some peanut butter torts and a variety of homemade gelatos got everyone the proper complement to their main course. And why not finish your experience with complimentary lemonchello shots? From the moment we walked in and made our way to our table, I knew that this place was going to be a winner. You can see the servers and food runners moving... constantly moving. The shop is big and spread out over a large area between the outdoor area, tented area and multiple rooms in the main building. Knowing the size of the portions from observing what they were serving and seeing the food on the other tables, I elected to go with the smaller portion of the Tagliatelle Funghi. This was a magnificent dish similar to an Alfredo sauce with lots of mushrooms. A definite yum!!! My wife had an Mozzarella & Tomato Panini... also wonderful. I've eaten here a few times and it's enjoyable enough although overpriced. I recently ordered the chicken sandwich with prosciutto and it was delicious. The service was excellent too. I sent it back and they did remake it but this time the eggs whites were raw. No exaggeration. Raw eggs. The toast was dry with no butter in sight as well. First off, I need to say that food was sensational. I mean top notch deliciousness. The portion sizes were good as well. We'll probably check them out again, just not on a Saturday night when we have prior engagements. The restaurant has a very cozy feel for being so spread out. The patio is simply lovely, and the huge fire pit is a nice touch. I did not see inside the actual restaurant, as we were seated at a high top in the bar area, which still managed to impress with the laid back vibe, interesting furniture choices, and nice heaters. However, the music tended to be a little loud and a little off for the intimate air they are striving for. Our waitress was very nice, but was clearly stretched very thin, as evidenced by the sheer number of tables she had that were split between 2 floors. The kitchen was abysmally slow. The entire meal from when we walked in until we received our entrees was over 70 minutes. (This was after asking the waitress for the bill, waiting another 10 minutes, and my friend finally getting up to pay and running into the woman bringing the food out) She apologized profusely, then checked on us later and removed items from the bill for us, so that was greatly appreciated, since we missed most of our show at the Riviera. **I need to add here that I have never worked in food service, so outside of Gordon Ramsay shows, I have no clue how orders are handled and whose responsibility it actually is to get the food out in a timely manner. We may have simply fallen by the wayside, but when the food came out it did not seem to have been sitting under heating lamps or microwaved, so I assume it's a kitchen issue.** Overall, it was a relatively pleasant experience and the food is worth giving them another try. Was in the area and decided to do brunch here. We sat on the patio and the outside space is spacious and nice. The service was well, let's say just odd. I couldn't put my finger on it but it seemed anxiety ridden and all over the place and made for a non-relaxing experience. I kind of felt rushed and interrupted a lot, but at the same time ignored. Not to mention, we weren't offered another round of cocktails after brunch. The food and cocktails came out slow. My lemon drop martini kind of tasted like lemonade and had no kick at all, it maybe had a half shot in there if that. Disappointing to say the least for $13.00. The breakfast pizza had a lot of eggs on it and maybe one to two pieces of sausage on it per slice and one pepper per slice. We saw very little cheese on it if any and tasted none either. Lacked seasoning and flavor all around. We ended up dousing it with red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in choosing our meal. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the half order of their homemade gnocci. I feel Frankie Primo's deserves a higher rating than it currently has, but how about you give them a try and decide for yourself! Huge patio with umbrellas if you wish, and heaters if needed. Covered seating as well. Good sized dining room and lots of bar seating. Looks like they have a large special events room if you're looking for that. What a great menu as you can see on their website and customer photos (photos are missing a page). Wish I lived closer so I could go back more often, but looking forward to our next visit. The food is great! Portions are a decent size too. The bread and oil they give you is delectable. The oil has the perfect flavor with spices and is not too heavy. The chicken Milanese was a special the night I went and is one of my favorite dishes so I usually opt for it! My mom got the tortellini and steak and she said it was all delicious. We also got arancini for an appetizer which were a good size and cooked well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. My only dislike about the place is the noise level. It was a Monday night and there were maybe a handful of tables but it sounded like a high school cafeteria. Very disappointed this time. Tortellini Bistecca 3/10. Ordered to go while I was hanging out with friends at the bar area outside. I've had this dish twice previously at both locations. When I sat down to eat at an actual table, it was phenomenal, which is why I ordered it again on this night. WELL.... Clearly it was not made well anymore, or they just don't care enough when it gets closer to the kitchen closing time. There was barely any of the fontina cream sauce on the tortellini at all. They were almost completely dry. My photo was when the dish was cold, but after heating up, it looked the exact same (The Parmesan cheese was added by me at home). I'll have to find my old photos from the first time I tried it years ago and post them later to show the difference of how it's supposed to be. The ribeye... not the best cut. Was cooked medium rare but little bit tough this time. Didn't really want it. Lastly, the price of the dish. $38!!!! I could get a better cut of steak, and tortellini and make my own meal for a whole family for that price! I was also charged two extra dollars just because I got it to go! Literally canned tuna on it..... friends got pasta..... no bread with the pasta. What the heck kind of Italian place doesn't serve bread with pasta? They said that it was all frozen. Isn't this supposed to have a fresh bread bakery???? No bread..... grind got bruschetta and her bread was stale. They ended up taking it off the bill. The food for our table came out in 2's. Literally took 45 min from fist plate to last plate for guests to be served. (And 7 got pasta). What a disaster. The best part about the place was the patio and drinks. I went to Frankie Primo's last night with my wife and a friend. It was our first time there. We sat at the bar and the bartender Julia tended to us. She was super friendly and took time to educate us on the food and drink that they offer. She told us everything is made on-site including the olive oil. She even brought us out a few types of their bread with the olive oil to try. It was delicious! We ordered a margherita pizza which arrived quickly and was amazing. Let's start with some positives: the servers were very good and our calamari appetizer was tender and tasty. Oh and the seed cookies they gave us at the end of our meal, brought back some happy memories of Grandma! Now for the negatives: our entrees were disappointing. I ordered from the specials menu and my chicken cutlets seemed like they were prepared ahead of time and reheated. It was tough and dry (and there wasn't enough sauce to counteract the dryness). For what it cost, I expected my meal to be better. The Gnocchi were ok but tasted more like Cavatelli and the tomato sauce wasn't anything special either. It tasted like canned tomatoes, nothing more. Again, for what it cost, I expected much better. The water, was room temperature tap water put into a clear wine shaped bottle. Looked very nice, but I would have preferred it cold, however that is a personal preference so that may not be fair to criticize. Also, The indoor atmosphere is very noisy. This was our first time here and we came for Valentine's Day. My first impression was it was dim and romantic and prayed our table wasn't the empty one directly next to the hostess stand and front door. We were brought to the back towards a super bright hall wall where the balloon archway was. If there was 4 of us, 2 people would have been uncomfortable as the brightness of the hallway vs the dark room was difficult. We sat on the other side of the table comfortably though as 2. The food, I got the valentines special, DEVINE!!! Would eat again!! Would have preferred more than 3 small peices of asparagus but it tasted so good, my only complaint on that was I would have wanted more! Soo yummy!!! The steak was perfectly cooked and wrapped in bacon. I had to take the bacon off cause both together was super salty but separated was fantastic. My fiancé got a chicken pasta (can't remember name) which was good too! My only reason to drop a star was the music was so Loud I felt like I could barely hear my waitress and she was almost yelling (politely!).
