When it comes to happy hour in North Tonawanda, this is your spot! They have a fantastic $10 food menu for happy hour (4:00-6:00) that has something for everyone. I got the garlic parm wings and they were fantastic! They came out so hot I couldn't even take my first bite for a few minutes. You can't beat fast service! The fun doesn't stop at wings on this happy hour menu. They also offer, personal pizza's, bruschetta, chicken slider's, and so much more! Now for the drinks! In all honesty, I would love to see more options for happy hour (as of now they only offer and Aperol Spritz as a cocktail and wine and beer deals). Yet, every one of their speciality cocktails are fantastic! They are perfectly balanced and receive a garnish that draws you in the second they drink is dropped. I can confidently say they have one of the best, if not the best speciality cocktail menus in North Tonawanda. When it comes to the ambiance and Frankie Primos, it's very hard to beat. Their patio is unbelievable. A gorgeous fire pit, 2 outdoor bars and plenty of landscape surrounding the patio. The inside is always decorated elegantly for the holidays and has an upscale decor and vibe year round. Overall, I've never had a disappointing experience and Frankie Primos. They always exceed expectations and provide great service. I look forward to returning in the near future!

It was a perfect Saturday and on a whim we decided to go out for dinner. We were able to score reservations thru RESY on the patio. We had heard good things about this place and were excited to go. Our reservations were for 6:30. We got there about five minutes beforehand and people were still seated at our table. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and the bartender recommended that we order their famous meatball that is only made by the owner every few months, so when it's on the menu, you grab it. Once we were seated (only waited 10 minutes) we took his advice. Wow, he was right! Super fresh, bit spicy sauce, but chilled ricotta on the side which was perfect! The evening was so comfortable that we just enjoyed each dish as it came. Terrific waitress with good input into dish suggestions. Their risotto changes weekly and it was delicious. I was craving shrimp scampi and I was not disappointed, especially with the fresh bread for dipping. After a wonderful meal, we were surprised with a complimentary serving of two limoncello shots and Italian cookies. We left full and happy!

The food & appetizers were delicious - minus points for the chicken cutlets which tasted of old oil. The service was great we did not have to look around for our wait staff. We enjoyed the atmosphere as we were celebrating an occasion and it wasn't too quiet . We enjoyed a nice bottle of Chianti and left fully satisfied. Was a perfect place to eat as we were attending a show at the theatre across the street a bit.

Got my gnocchi to go- so good! It's ricotta gnocchi so it's nice and light. Pomodoro sauce had a little spice to it, but manageable for someone who doesn't love spicy sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Had a poinsettia cocktail from their holiday menu- perfect mix of champagne, orange liqueur and cranberry. Service was great- helpful staff. Ambience is intimate but family friendly.

A great experience all around! Food was great! I got a special, Pappardelle with vegetable cream sauce and I added shrimp! Loved every bite. Exactly what I wanted! The server was great as well. She was so sweet and seemed excited to take our order, which was refreshing as the day before I had the opposite experience at a different restaurant. The place itself was nice. Hostess was pleasant. Bar was a bit slow, but that just meant our table got drinks faster. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items!

Mom only turns 75 once so make it memorable which Frankie Primos did. We had the front table outside which fit our group of 11 (Brody included) nicely. Our server was attentive and did a great job of checking on some of the questions we had regarding then menu. A great lesson for any service job, if you don't know the answer, do not guess! Just go and ask someone from the kitchen, a customer would always rather wait for the correct answer. Started with with calamari, Mexican corn, arancini, and the "small" charcuterie board. Lots of tasty options and we finished almost everything. Arancini was moist with a great crispy crust that paired well with the sauce it was in. The board had a ton of options, little bit of this, little bit of that, plenty of sensuous salted meats to choose from which complimented the nice combination of soft and hard cheeses. More delicious olives please! Dinner choices included the Chicken Milanese, angel hair pasta, an eggplant special, pizza, some sandwiches, and the steak & tortellini. The empty plates indicated that everyone was well fed and satisfied with their meal. We did save room for dessert which was a perfect finish to a great evening. Some peanut butter torts and a variety of homemade gelatos got everyone the proper complement to their main course. And why not finish your experience with complimentary lemonchello shots? They kinda smell like Lemon Pledge and taste about as good, but it's a fun way to finish the evening. Seeing Mom do shots on her 75th birthday is something I'll never forget. Thank you Frankie Primos!

From the moment we walked in and made our way to our table, I knew that this place was going to be a winner. You can see the servers and food runners moving... constantly moving. The shop is big and spread out over a large area between the outdoor area, tented area and multiple rooms in the main building. Knowing the size of the portions from observing what they were serving and seeing the food on the other tables, I elected to go with the smaller portion of the Tagliatelle Funghi. This was a magnificent dish similar to an Alfredo sauce with lots of mushrooms. A definite yum!!! My wife had an Mozzarella & Tomato Panini... also wonderful. Our server was delightful and very attentive to our table to insure a great experience. You can see how the team works here as a cohesive group. I look forward to a return trip to sample some more of the food here. KUDO's to the team at Frankie Primo's +39

Amazing food, and amazing service. A little surprise at the end... a shot of lemon cello on the house. The bakery next-door, which is owned by the restaurant, provides all the breads, the cookies in the desserts.

First off, I need to say that food was sensational. I mean top notch deliciousness. The portion sizes were good as well. We'll probably check them out again, just not on a Saturday night when we have prior engagements. The restaurant has a very cozy feel for being so spread out. The patio is simply lovely, and the huge fire pit is a nice touch. I did not see inside the actual restaurant, as we were seated at a high top in the bar area, which still managed to impress with the laid back vibe, interesting furniture choices, and nice heaters. However, the music tended to be a little loud and a little off for the intimate air they are striving for. Our waitress was very nice, but was clearly stretched very thin, as evidenced by the sheer number of tables she had that were split between 2 floors. The kitchen was abysmally slow. The entire meal from when we walked in until we received our entrees was over 70 minutes. (This was after asking the waitress for the bill, waiting another 10 minutes, and my friend finally getting up to pay and running into the woman bringing the food out) She apologized profusely, then checked on us later and removed items from the bill for us, so that was greatly appreciated, since we missed most of our show at the Riviera. **I need to add here that I have never worked in food service, so outside of Gordon Ramsay shows, I have no clue how orders are handled and whose responsibility it actually is to get the food out in a timely manner. We may have simply fallen by the wayside, but when the food came out it did not seem to have been sitting under heating lamps or microwaved, so I assume it's a kitchen issue.** Overall, it was a relatively pleasant experience and the food is worth giving them another try. However, I would definitely warn people off bringing a blind date here, because if they are creepy you'll be stuck at a table with them for an inordinate amount of time.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

Craving a dense, thicker-style crust pizza, I knew I could count on Good Guys Pizza to satiate it!…read more I placed and paid for my pizza online around 4:15pm for a 5:00pm pickup on a Saturday. I arrived closer to 5:15pm to a packed parking lot. I wish the parking lot was a little bigger but, somehow, I still managed to find a spot! I walked in and was next in line and after giving my name, my order was brought out and I was out of there, quite literally in and out, which was probably a good thing as I had a good parking spot. For my order, I ordered a small (13", six slice) cheese, pepperoni, sweet pepper, and mushroom pizza. This pizza was just as delicious as I remembered. I really love how Good Guys Pizza cook their pizzas with more cook time on the bottom, making their pizza a bit sturdier and golden on the underneath. And that thick, crispy, crunchy crust, *chef's kiss*. Good Guys Pizza is VERY generous with their toppings, each slice I pulled out had awesome cheese-pull, and there was plenty of red sauce. A note about their red sauce, if the typical-Buffalo "sweet" style isn't your favorite, I think you'd be good with Good Guys Pizza's red sauce as it comes across a bit more balanced, with maybe a slight lean towards "spicy". There was plenty of pepperoni buried beneath the heaps of mushrooms and sweet (green) pepper slices! I added a drizzle of hot honey and I thought it was an awesome complement! Good Guys Pizza cooks up a thicker-dough pizza that satisfies the biggest appetites, which this pizza was no different, but I appreciate it not being greasy, it sat well. The price I paid for my pizza was very reasonable, especially seeing how much prices everywhere have risen in 2026, a nice treat for my wallet. Good Guys Pizza retains one of the top spots in my favorite pizza shop list! They've been a favorite of mine since 2018 and it really impresses me how consistently good, they are - The quality, the portions, the prices, the customer service, all of it is great! The only reason I don't come here more is the fact it's so far from my house, but, once in a while, I have to just make the trek and get my Good Guys Pizza-fix.
