The owners/management were incredibly rude and argumentative, and the experience was completely unacceptable. A 14-year-old girl was having her birthday dinner with friends. They had a reservation and arrived on time. The girls were polite, respectful, and ate their food, but didn't finish everything because the portions were large. When the waitress offered boxes, they declined. The hostess questioned about why they "didn't like the food" and proceeded to yell at the waitress next to their table, which embarrassed the girls. Then, Less than an hour after their reservation began,they texted me that they were almost finished and to come pay the bill, which is what wr had agreed on. They texted me three separate times, over 12 minutes. The first text when they finished eating, the second when the table cleared and the third when they got the bill. From the first text to my arrival was exactly 17 minutes (I have text receipts and timestamps). I arrived only 5 minutes after the bill was given but by that time, the girls had already been kicked from their table and told to wait in the back near the kitchen staff. They had only been waiting a few minutes but looked so embarrassed when I got there! I went to pay and i asked the hostess when is it ever OK to kick paying customers from their table. the standard dinner reservation is a 90-minute window. The girls had been there under an hour, and it had been 17 minutes since their plates were cleared. The hostess claimed they "needed the table," which made no sense given the timing. I replied that it's not ok to do that to the kids and they would never have treated grown adults like that. the hostess slammed the checkbook shut and told me to get out. Don't even pay just get out! So we left! When we reached the parking lot that hostess ran after us yelling that she changed her mind saying she was "tired of covering everyone's bill" and threatened to call the police. I was happy to pay and reminded her that she's the one who told us to leave! She argued the entire time with me saying the she "didn't kick them outside, just asked to wait In the back" This was humiliating for a group of respectful young girls celebrating a birthday and was completely unprofessional behavior from management. Fabulous food but I recommend getting it to go. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated because it was packed. It's a very small location and you are squished in like a can of sardines. It's incredibly loud and overwhelming. Service was ok. They were very friendly but so busy that it took a long time for anyone to come to our table. It's clearly family run and they work their butts off. It's BYOB which is great. The specials offered were great and had a wide variety of options. Bruschetta- good but very garlicky. The shredded parm on top is great. Cesar salad is amazing. Fresh and creamy with anchovies paste and good parm cheese. One of the best I've ever had. Super fresh croutons with crunch and soft too Aranchibi was mushy and didn't have much flavor. Rigitoni is good but very Al dente. The famous meatball was tough and over cooked. Lots of pepper. Chicken parm was good and tender. Not much chicken and a lot of breading. So let me put it in perspective, we showed up with 14 people , with a reservation, of course and the place seats maybe 35. Valerie was our server and was beyond extraordinary. My suggestion is skip the bread, really, and not because it's fresh and tasty, you will need the room. Appetizers were absolutely amazing. The bruschetta brought a tear to my eyes with shaved parm and fresh garlic... heavenly. Not forgetting the meatballs and calamari. As far as entrees, super fresh and generous. Friends ordered food to be delivered to us from Frankie's during a family medical emergency. During our delivery Frankie was so kind, caring and sympathetic, he personally touched us emotionally. It's amazing that Frankies can deliver such amazing Italian food from this small storefront. This Saturday night the indoor seating was packed and they had probably 10 to-go orders lined up when I arrived. Wish I took photos of the food so you could see the huge portion of homemade lasagne decked with melted mozzarella and loaded with fresh delicious tomato sauce - thx for not skimping. We also ordered an appetizer size eggplant parm - amazing, and so generous we will have another half for leftovers. If you've ever tried at home, making a great eggplant parm is a ton of work. Tried them for the first time for takeout during COVID quarantine. We were overcharged $10 for 2 entrees and a side. Were told correct price in person, signed credit card receipt for that price, but then charged $10 more. Emailed through their website, no reply. Called a week later and were told the owner would call back, but 2 hours later no call so we called again. Owner, Frank, said the credit card company just does that and has been for about 2 years now. No apology, no offer to refund for the fraud. Had to drive in to get $10 refund in cash, and was shamed by owner for pursuing fair treatment to actually take him up on getting back the stolen money. Won't be back. read more

This is the type of place I would have never found without Yelp. I travel to the area for business. First off the service was exceptional and the food was even better. I had stuffed shells, the sauce was excellent and cheesy just as it should be. I also had a salad which was fresh and crisp and the home made blue cheese dressing was second to none. I find it extremely important to help small businesses during these most difficult times however everyone had a smile on their face. We typically go every Sunday evening for dinner. The staff and food are outstanding. We have never been disappointed in the service or meals. If it is very busy sometimes the server will apologize for the service being slower than normal. It is never too long. The countless dishes on the menu are too numerous to mention bc everything is outstanding. Frankie and his staff do everything to make people feel welcome. Had a reservation. Sat and sat before we had to get up and get our own menus. Girl behind counter finally finished her to go orders long enough to come over and take our order. Waited for forever to get our food. Food was average. Pasta was drenched in sauce. The topper to the whole night was they charge $2.75 to use a credit card!!!!
