Yummy pork chop on the special stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella

. I can't say enough good things about Frankie Fellini's! This charming little Italian gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, homestyle Italian cuisine. Family-owned and family-run, the warmth and hospitality of the servers make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Now, I have to warn you--this place is cozy! It can get a bit snug, but trust me, it's all part of the charm. Plus, the generous portions will leave you feeling more than satisfied! I've seen countless reviews raving about Frankie's being one of the best Italian spots on the Main Line, and I wholeheartedly agree! I absolutely adore their Caesar salad, mouthwatering meatballs, and delicious chicken dishes. I can't wait to try their veal chop, which I've heard is simply outstanding, even if it is on the pricier side. Just a tip: be sure to bring cash and prepare to leave feeling full and oh-so-happy! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Frankie Fellini's is the place to be!

Fabulous food but I recommend getting it to go. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes to get seated because it was packed. It's a very small location and you are squished in like a can of sardines. It's incredibly loud and overwhelming. Service was ok. They were very friendly but so busy that it took a long time for anyone to come to our table. It's clearly family run and they work their butts off. It's BYOB which is great. The specials offered were great and had a wide variety of options. Bruschetta- good but very garlicky. The shredded parm on top is great. Cesar salad is amazing. Fresh and creamy with anchovies paste and good parm cheese. One of the best I've ever had. Super fresh croutons with crunch and soft too Aranchibi was mushy and didn't have much flavor. Rigitoni is good but very Al dente. The famous meatball was tough and over cooked. Lots of pepper. Chicken parm was good and tender. Not much chicken and a lot of breading. Came with tons of spaghetti. Overall had great flavor.

Best cannoli, even better than Philly

So let me put it in perspective, we showed up with 14 people , with a reservation, of course and the place seats maybe 35. Valerie was our server and was beyond extraordinary. My suggestion is skip the bread, really, and not because it's fresh and tasty, you will need the room. Appetizers were absolutely amazing. The bruschetta brought a tear to my eyes with shaved parm and fresh garlic... heavenly. Not forgetting the meatballs and calamari. As far as entrees, super fresh and generous. Everyone took at least half home TLDR: want an amazing meal and a ton of memories, this is your spot

The veal was incredible! Super tender and the sauce was extremely fresh and fragrant. Great corner Italian spot when in the area! BYOB

The best ravioli I have eaten in 75 years!

Stopped in for dinner and their entree special was Tripe and chorizo sausage in a marinara sauce. Now seriously, what restaurant has Tripe on their menu? Why Frankie's Fellini Cafe of course. And by the way, it was delicious! Thank you Frankie. Please call ahead for reservations. There was a one hour wait for a table tonight.

Franke is always very accommodating. The menu is very extensive. This is South Philly Italian. Restaurants beats Berwyn on the mainline.

It's amazing that Frankies can deliver such amazing Italian food from this small storefront. This Saturday night the indoor seating was packed and they had probably 10 to-go orders lined up when I arrived. Wish I took photos of the food so you could see the huge portion of homemade lasagne decked with melted mozzarella and loaded with fresh delicious tomato sauce - thx for not skimping. We also ordered an appetizer size eggplant parm - amazing, and so generous we will have another half for leftovers. If you've ever tried at home, making a great eggplant parm is a ton of work. That's why we so appreciate delivering on this order! Great local spot with genuine people delivering authentic Italian cuisine that only your grandmother could make. Five stars and two thumbs up! Thank you for doing what you do best!

Always great flavors and portions. Although somewhat crowded, definitely worth it. Terrific for take- out orders, too.

Updating my review because like I said before, I WANT to give this place the 5 stars like I know it…read moredeserves! The pie I previously ordered has since been taken off the menu for the sole reason of it just being too saucy of a pie for that thin crust. The owner Vince reached out to me regarding my last review and was SO polite and appreciative and offered a Trenton pie on the house. I was reluctant to accept at the time because I don't ever want a review of mine to look like I'm fishing for money back or free food, but I decided to take him up on his offer tonight and I'm so glad I did. I received a Trenton pie, and I decided to try the Italian pork sandwich with provolone as well. Let me just say the customer service at this shop is outstanding. Everyone I encountered was just lovely which really could have just made me bump them up to 5 stars based on that. I met Vince when I went to pick up the order and got to chat with him for a bit. He told me all about his business and educated me on his personal recommendations/where they get their bread/the things that are homemade etc. He was really such a pleasure to talk to and his passion for his shop and the quality of food he puts out is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to the pizza shop business. It should be more common in the business to be so passionate but it's not, and honestly that is what sets Carla's apart from other places. Okay, NOW I will talk about the food. The Trenton pie was spectacular! This pie was perfect which is dangerous because I could not stop eating it once I started. I wish I was kidding. The crust was perfectly cooked and held up to everything on top. It had a perfect crisp and 0 flop. The sauce on top was a perfect ratio to the cheese. It is unbelievable how thin they get this crust. You were right Vince, I liked this pizza WAY better than the first one I ordered! Can we talk about the pork sandwich though, oh my goodness. I went pretty plain with my order as I only got roast pork with provolone, but the bottom was slightly dipped in the au jus which was the icing on the cake. The bread soaked up the au jus nicely while not making it overly soggy or falling apart. The pork itself though was delicious! It was very tender and the thing I loved most about it was there seemed to be black pepper mixed in with the pork which complemented the au jus perfectly. I'm not kidding, I think I'm going to have dreams about those flavors going forward. I could probably drink that au jus, but I won't. Please give this business a try because it's people like this that are in it for the right reasons and it shows through their food! I will be coming back here often.

Had delicious cheese steak with my buddies. We're all out of town and it was great. The owner was…read morereally friendly and all the staff were great. The food was delicious. Fried could have been a bit crispier but that was the only ding. 4 stars.
