Me and 2 friends came in on a tuesday at 12:20 and waited over 30 minutes for a kids chicken finger meal and two slices of pizza. There was only 1 other table within the restaurant. Not to mention we ordered 3 garlic knots to be told 15 minutes into our wait that they don't have any at the moment. We used to love Bella Rosy, but their food and service has gone down hill to the point that we'll no longer be ordering from there. Our most recent experience is seen in the picture I posted. This is a grandma's thin Sicilian, which used to be one of our favorites. This looks nothing like it used to. I love this place, I work next door to this restaurant and the only issue I have is that it's closed on Monday . Great food and great owners, the Sal Panini and the Italian panini are my favorites, their pizza is top notch and they make delicious soup , they just expanded and the new place is amazing! It's also BYOB if you want to bring a bottle or two. Bella Rosy is located on Germantown Ave. in the Evansburg shopping center. I've been going to Bella Rosy for 4 months and the food is exceptional. The quality is top notch. They do use salt on everything I've ever ordered and I'm really sensitive to salt because of my HBP. I would alternatively recommend going to Padrinos, Tosco, Collegeville Bakery, or Giuseppe's instead. I have lived in the area for 20+ years and am a regular patron of local businesses. The pizza was dripping with oil, dough tasted overworked, and the slice fell apart when attempted to eat. Decent Stromboli and worth it if you want pizza on Sunday when all others are closed. I can't speak for a variety of this place's food because we have been so impressed with the steak special Stromboli that it's what we keep getting when we come! 7 person party went for dinner and was told there was an issue with the ticket in the kitchen so only 6 meals were prepared. Had to want another 25 minute for that meal to be prepared while everyone else's meal got cold. Owner didn't care, offered no apology. Servicer was terrible consistently through the night. Everything took forever from the apps to the salads until 6 dinners were presented. Utter disgrace. The server should have been aware of the issue but we never saw her again. My friend's pasta a seafood dish was also flavorless. The meatballs were good though. Service was OK. BEWARE: The prices on the menu are lower than what you will be charged. We chose not to use them and they need to change their antiquated transaction processing. We had planned on placing an order using their coupon in the Direct Advantage flyer. Ordered two dinners over the phone and mentioned the $3 coupon. We were told they couldn't take the coupon over the phone because they needed the actual coupon. I asked if the driver could take it and I was told only if I paid with cash which we didn't have in the house. They were unwilling to figure out a compromise to use the coupon and so we cancelled the delivery order. A complete waste of their advertising money. Our local go to spot! Pizza and strombolis are fantastic! We love the cheese steak stromboli with banana peppers and the bacon chicken ranch pizza for take out. When we eat there, we bring our wine and get the Parm or any of the pasta dishes - all great and so much food! Don't forget to finish off with their cannolis! read more

We have visited this restaurant several times. The pizza is so good that until recently we hadn't tried any of their other dishes. We usually get the Popeye pizza with red saucewhich is consistently good and made with quality ingredients. On our last visit, we tried the chicken marsala which is very flavorful and is served with a large portion of spaghetti and a small salad. The red sauce on the spaghetti is one of the best I've ever had. The marsala sauce is very flavorful. What a cute find. Our weekly drives are always a great way to recharge our creative brains. This day was no exception. It was filled with lots of sun, a cool breeze and one loud mouth husky. We turned down every road in search of something to eat and bam, this little place comes out of my right eye. I pull on in and what do I see....a tiny little 5 table pizza shop called Bella Rosy. Great name too right? I go in and scope it out for the wife and I (yes, and the husky too) and what do I see right off the bat but a big fat traditional Sicilian / Neopolitano slice of beauty. Momma mia it was beautiful!! And tasted great too. I ordered one of those for the wife, two grandmas for me and like six drinks. The wife's slice was perfection and just like her family used to make back in the day. My two slices were the best since we left NYC for the farm life. The grandma is a slice of fresh tomatoes and cheese that I can't even describe other than heavenly. Not too much and not too little. The garlic on the pie to oil ratio was absolutely divine as well. Especially with the crust/dough. OMG! A perfect crunch in every bite. I had my hands full taking six drinks out to the car but oh don't you worry this town of Collegeville, friendlest people you ever met. A couple waiting in line offered to help me bring all the plates out to the car and plastic forks and knives. I had the carry down but had to go back for the forks and knives but wait the couple comes out with the rest of our stuff. Passed them many times and finally decided to give the local pizza shop a try. We are pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Chicken Florentine Pizza and it was very tasty, big and full of toppings. Way better than the chain stores that we go to. The service is pretty fast and friendly. I am also glad they have online ordering. Will definitely use them for our pizza needs from now on. read more

I'm not one to throw around five-star reviews lightly, but I'm feeling a little generous being that we're in the middle of a pandemic and it feels like a good time to round up...and, most importantly, my Popeye pizza with red sauce was outstanding. The very good crust was able to maintain its structural integrity under the significant weight of a delectable array of ingredients--a solid red sauce, quality muzzi, fresh and plentiful ricotta, chopped tomatoes, and the best part of this pizza, the perfectly seasoned spinach. The Popeye is finished with just the right amount of red pepper flakes for added flavor and a very subtle kick. If you are a no-spice person you should probably ask them to hold the red pepper flakes. I think that anybody but the most obnoxious "I only eat wood-fired brick oven pizza" pizza snob will be quite pleased with this tasty pie. Buonissimo! read more

It's a hidden gem. It's stuck on the left side of an obscure shopping center in Evansburg. It's very small with hidden seating in the back behind the kitchen. But as far as Italian restaurants go, this is the real deal. The variety is ridiculous, the food is spectacular, and the even make homemade soups every day on the premises. My favorite is the holiday pizza, with chicken of course. The only thing this place makes that isn't very good is the taco pizza. Basically they use Frank's hot sauce and it doesn't taste Mexican at all. Stick with the Italian stuff. read more

Bella Rosy is a decent little Italian sandwich shop and pizza place. As is usually the case with these little places, some items are great and some less so. I am often in the area for lunch and it's a nice easy spot to stop and pick up something quick. Their cheesesteaks are passable, the chicken cheesesteaks less so (I'm not a fan of the chicken they use.) Mediocre meatball parm. The chicken parm was probably my favorite that I've tried so far. The pizza is good, but there are better choices not too far away. I haven't had any of their entrees or ate in the dining area, so I can't speak to that. The service is good, and everyone is friendly. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're there. read more

Their pizza wasn't bad but it still wasn't what I was looking for. I also ordered a large cheesesteak Stromboli with mushrooms and hot peppers. It wasn't bad either but the peppers weren't hot and were a little too vinegary than I would have liked. We have been going to this little place for many many years. My wife loves the lobster ravioli and I am a big fan of both the veal parm and veal saltimboca. The Collegeville area now has more pizza shops than you can count on your fingers, but this one has its perks too. It's run by real Italian-food folks who know how to serve it. Their steak sandwiches are probably about average, but this time I tried chicken fingers and fries and it was good. Generous portions that weren't greasy or overcooked. It's a small store but it has two separate dining areas--one in the front if you want to eat and go, and a more elegant one in the rear. I'm a little curious why they call their pizza sizes Medium and Large (so what's a "Small"?) if they're the only two sizes they have on the menu. They do have several different varieties though. If you're into wings, hoagies, or salads, you can get those there too. While this isn't Bella Rosy's fault, the strip mall this business is a part of looks like a cram job.
