I just moved here from California and this place was very impressive. It's a lot of fun. My only complaint is that it's very expensive :/ my boyfriend and I went on the go carts which cost $14 total then the bumper boats cost another $14 total then the laser tag is another $14 total Plus more money on the arcade. So pricey for being able to do these things only once and then pay again if you wanna do it again. arcades I've been to back home, you pay a one time fee for a wrist band and you can ride everything as many times as you want which is great. read more

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. I took my BF here a few weeks ago (the day after Thanksgiving) and we had a ball. We visited the adult lounge and had a drink before we started and then came back later to have more. Our waitress/bartender did awesome with making our drinks. The fried pickles are the best I've had! My wings were perfectly made and the buffalo chicken dip he ordered was delicious and had a kick to it. The games were very fun to play. Yes it is a bit pricey but it was his birthday so we decided to splurge. read more

Don't expect much from the staff but even if they are no fun you can still have a great time. Three putt putt courses, batting cages, go-carts, laser tag and lots of arcade games. Even adults can have a blast here and they have a decent beer selection as well. They cheapest arcade game is a dollar so if you are bringing a kid be ready to drop at least a twenty on arcade games. Putt putt is only seven bucks and I recommend just playing the mini golf and maybe an arcadr game or two but don't spend too much of your date here. This is clearly the best of its kind in the Raleigh area and for good reason. Mini-golf, ropes courses, laser tag, go-karts, an arcade, and batting cages all make for some good clean fun. Thunderstorm. Humidity. Heat. Three great reasons to go to Frankie's... an indoor, air-conditioned arcade and play place. Plan to spend lots of money (at least $25 per person for a couple hours of fun?), especially if you have kids who like to try their hand earning (virtual, not paper!) tickets. Then they can spend many minutes mulling over and claiming little trinkets you can sometimes get in a gumball machine. After all, who doesn't love a mood ring? If you have kids, they'll have a blast at this place. No questions asked. But I'm reviewing as an adult who attended Frankie's with a group of coworkers for a team building event. I was not super thrilled that Frankie's was our destination, to be quite honest. But there was a bar (major bonus points) and because we went on a weekday afternoon...it was nearly empty. No kids; place to ourselves. As a work event, it actually did a great job of getting us talking and interacting. We decided to race go-karts, play laser tag, and play a round of mini-golf. All low-intensity activities (no ropes courses) with no previous skills required. Great when you don't want to look awkward in front of coworkers! One tip: if you're squeamish about the smell of stale sweat, skip the laser tag and go to the arcade. :) read more

My 1 star review is solely based on my bar experience. There was 4 bartenders on duty with about 7 guests sitting at the bar but yet it took 10 mins to order my drink. Meanwhile 3 bartenders were unloading the same dishwasher and talking about their after work plans. I'm a bartender and I usually give people the Beni fit of the doubt and don't get upset. But these bartenders need an attitude adjustment. One rolled her eyes when I ordered 6 shot for my party. And another bartender walked past me to check her phone. I love Frankie's. It's just as much fun for Adults as it is for kids. It's clean, there's a bar, they have GREAT mini golf courses. What more could you ask for? You can honestly go with a date or your friends and spend less than $25. Best in the spring time when it's nice outside and the Go Kart course is open. The staff is pretty chill as well. read more

first time here, and never going back. first we got food. the chicken wrap was worth the money, but chicken sandwich and alcohol is not worth what their charging! $26 for two shots of jack Daniels and coke. it doesn't even cost that much at a damn bar. on top of that, the sandwich was super plain and dry. not mention the dryness of the sandwich, but the cost. i could've gotten a better meal at McDonald's. we went go kart racing and batting cages which was probably the best thing to do here. super crowded inside, so it's hard to find a game to play. the bathrooms (both men and women's) are TRASHED. it's disgusting. considering that covid is a thing, their taking horrible precautions. don't waste your money at this location. read more

I love Frankie's. there is a lot to do there. Arcade, laser tag, go carts, what more could you want? On the weekends it is very busy and there are crowds of people. I took off one star because of the lack of seating. When we were there I had a broken toe and it was difficult for me to walk around and stand for long periods of time. There were limited seating options for me to rest. Have me a new perspective on people who have disabilities... this place isn't that accessible! Looking around I wasn't the only one in a boot either. I also saw that two people had on knee braces. Hope that Frankie's considers more seating and making the space more accessible for others. read more

A fun night out! Frankie's is a fun place for any age. Lots of activities and games to bring you back to younger years. I don't think any age is out of place. It's a bit pricey, but if you eat at home and then go, two events ($8 each) really isn't a bad date night. I recommend Putt Putt, there's several courses and it takes a while, so you get more time with your friends/date. read more

Fun fun fun. I always enjoyed coming to places like this as a kid. I remember stuffing my shoes with socks so I'd be y'all enough to drive the go cart. Those were the good ol' times. Miniature golf, go carts, bumper boats, Batting cage, games, and plenty other entertainment. Things are fairly priced so you constantly reload your card not realizing how much money your spending. Make sure you go on a pay day especially if you have kids. I suggest going with a set amount of cash and once it's gone--it's time to leave. If you get hungry make sure you make you way to the lounge which has a different menu and libations to drown the sound of screaming kids. read more

My husband and I met here for lunch for our daughters 6th birthday. The plan was to eat and then enjoy some games. My husband had to return to work and came for his lunch hour hungry! We sat in the cafe and ordered our meals - place was completely empty, it was a Thursday at 12:15pm. My daughter ordered the chicken fingers, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my husband a flat bread. On his second slice of flat bread he noticed a large metal rod looking piece of metal in his food. We immediately notified the server and she apologized and said the meal was on the house. They were also unable to identify the object and where it could have possible come from. Pictures attached. He left, starving and planning to run through chick fil A on his way back to the office. Our birthday outing was completely ruined by this experience and very little was done to rectify the situation. A tip for Frankie's? When a customer (who is nice) finds a metal screw in their food, you should probably offer them some sort of game coupon, etc to make the rest of their experience more pleasant. This place was fun. Just not the service. Although some workers were really nice, especially the go kart managers were great. Same with the dark ride manager. That's what gives this place 2 stars, also the food was great. Now the negative. The game with the key and the apple products is a scam. Don't play it. I got the key in the thing and I spun and came out without giving me the prize. We got the manager, pure laziness. He right away said there was no error in the game so he couldn't even give me my credits or anything back. Then my friend got his products from the shop and saw something on the desk. He wanted to put something back for it. She was also very lazy she said "it will take to long" that is just pure laziness. She didn't even scan the item he wanted to put back yet. And when I went to tell the same person in the shop and she didn't care to get up and check it out she told me to get someone else. Last my 7 year old sister was sad because the balls were ripped and hers was ripped open. How can you sell that! and she was just to lazy to tell us she just put it In the bag to have us find out after we paid. It was obviously ripped, she was just too lazy to tell us. One word AMAZING!...This place is like Dave & Buster's on steroids lol. It has arcades, lazer tag, rides, go karts, mini golf , batting cages and a dinning area with a seperate bar. I'm not going to lie I was completely overwhelmed in a good way by the amount of activities at your disposal. You def need a game plan before going. The day I went was Memorial weekend during an out of town family visit in NC. It wasn't that crowded went in the morning before the holiday rush which was good since was able to take advantage of all the activities that were there. Midway through the day got a bite at the restaurant there. Prices were decent not to expensive and a free refill drink station puts icing on cake. So I ordered some honey sriracha bbq wings, fries and drink. Only prob I had there's no "meals" everything is sold separately. Even with two kids and adults meal came up to bout $50 which is a normal price at a decent restaurant anyways. Which the food was worth the price. I forgot how south do an NC is known for BBQ and they didn't disappoint. My wings were nice and crispy with the sweetness of honey and after bite of heat from the sriracha sauce. The fries were throughly seasoned and crunchy. I over did the refills so didn't finish my food but guess what they have to go trays which is awesome! I wish they had more of this place up north but seems to be a Carolina's hidden gem as it's only there. Great for fam, hang out or date nite. Frankie's is a good place to go....when it's not crowded as _____. My husband and I went here this past weekend and played mini-golf. It was fun. The course was very clean for it being such a kiddie place. I was impressed with the designs that line the path of the course.. the mini houses, waterfall, pirate boat. We were questioning if they put blue dye in the water to deter the kids from trying to jump in - or if they just think it looks cool. We think both. I got an icy coke-cherry mix. Delicious. What memories that brought back. Their arcade is pretty huge. I'd love to go there when it wasn't crowded with a trashbag of coins. :) Laser tag can be fun too there. We had our son birthday party there and the customer service sucks!!! I will never have another birthday party!! The kids get 1 slice of pizza and that's it!! It's not worth the money at all!! Maybe a cool place to take the kids to play but having a party I will not do!! Also they told us that the fun house was unlimited and they still made my kids use there card!! When I was calling to get information no one answered the phone!!! We drove up from Fayetteville to come here today and were so so disappointed. The race track was good. But besides that....the batting cages are wonky and shoot all sorts of directions or don't work at all, the games ate at least $7 dollars and were all super over priced anyway, the food was cheap but not good at all (don't even bother trying the pizza) and the golf courses were beyond boring--the scenery was cute but the actual courses were so unimaginative but still $8 a player. Also, did not see any wipes around or people cleaning the VR games with masks that go on your face. Same arcade games we can play at putt-putt in Fayetteville but there they are much cleaner, not all broken, and half the price. Left pretty sad. read more

LOVE it but it's expensive and it doesn't have much competition to it's a bit of a monopoly hence why they can get away with charging whatever. $7 per person for mini golf, $2 for a batting cage token... it really adds up. My beef is two-fold: first, you can't get a human on the phone there. No one picks up, they leave the phone off the hook, the voice mail becomes full, and I even tried calling their other locations to get a manager to email. Needless to say, I never booked the birthday party there. So why did I go? My son REALLY REALLY wanted to play laser tag with his friends, so I took them and just paid retail instead of trying to book a group, because while they are "happy to do it" on site, I would "need to go to another desk and sit down with someone and go over a contract" if I wanted to buy 11 kids two rounds each of laser tag at the group rate. That's not happening with a group of rowdy kids waiting impatiently to play. That's why I had tried to call Frankie's earlier. Can you tell I was annoyed? Wow, this place is amazing! Are you bored? Are you between the ages of 5 and 95? Well then get to Frankies! They have something for everyone. My girlfriend and I (okay, we are young ladies in our 50s) had a great time playing Miniature Golf on a beautiful Summer night! Before that we had dinner in their very nice sit down restaurant called the Chill Lounge where we ordered some Swiss and Mushroom Burgers, wine and beer from a full bar, and from some friendly and cheerful Waitresses. Service was great and so was the food, drinks, and atmosphere. From our table we could look out the window and see the Bumper Boats where kids (and adults) could spray other boats with built in water guns. Just past that was a crazy looking Carnival Ride that I thought only existed in, well Carnivals! There were a few of those. And turn a little to your left and you'll see the Go Karts with at least 2 different tracks, a "Rookie Track" and the "Shamrock Slick Track", which looks more advanced for those speedy drivers. If you don't want to bring the kids into the Chill Lounge (which you probably don't want to do, thank you!), get some pizza, popcorn, hot dogs or burgers and sodas at Frankies Cafe where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table when it is ready. So back outside again... they had a crazy big tightrope walking thing called the Sky Rail which looked like a blast but be prepared to hang on as you manage your way around a high in the sky rope course. And did I mention the Miniature Golf was great? They have short paddle clubs for the little people and regular sized clubs for us A-dults who were serious about our swings (not). Most of the golfers were families or teens but it is a good time for all ages. Indoors there is a huge Arcade and all kinds of games including laser tag and virtual reality games, on top of everything else you can imagine. This would be a great place to bring family and friends visiting from out of town, or just something to do with yourself when you can't stand another minute in the house on a beautiful Summer Evening or a rainy day indoors. read more

Unlike Dave and busters where u purchase a package and u get virtual tokens here at Frankies each game cost money to play. For example u put money on a game card. If u want to play a racing game it costs $1.50. So planning to spend $20 on one person isn't much. It's EXPENSIVE! read more

Frankie's is great. It reminds me of a Dave & Busters or a Chuck-E-Cheese for grown ups. I have only gone in the winter, so I haven't tried any of the outdoor events. They have an arcade with a wide variety of games, many which you can earn tickets. The prizes are (predictably) cheap, but my young nephews loved it all-the-same. This is a neat place and super fun. It's a tad expensive but I think that's to be expected at places like this. One thing that really stood out to me is that there is a HUGE RANGE of things to do. There are three mini golf courses alone! And tons of other things too. I'd recommend it for small birthday parties for kids, or even teens.
