The rate was also good based on other replies I received. What astounded me the most was the workers. They were SUPER fast packing, bringing the stuff to the truck, and unpacking. They didn't speak English and used a translator on the phone, but they were actually pretty good with reading the words in the box, such as master, living room, garage, etc. They had runners or whatever they're called on the stairs so they wouldn't damage the stairs. They're careful with walls and I didn't see any damage on the wall, too. I'm so so so impressed with them, how quick the movers were, and how respectful they were. I would definitely recommend!

Now at the end is where I notice all the time they took to stack and wrap is where they charged up extra money with the time o was only moving in the next building over about 200 feet's away Wasn't to happy about this ....

Jacob came to our house with a clipboard, saw and noted everything to be moved, He gave us a price of $11,000 to move us to Nebraska. Most other quotes were in the $16,000 range. So far, so good. They showed up at the promised time with a truck too small to get everything. I said to my parter "the truck is too small." About an hour into the process, Jacob advised to to start figuring out what to prioritize and what to leave behind as the truck was too small. Several hours later Jacob said it was "partially" his fault. Yes, he said partially, avoiding full blame since it was part of his scheme. For an additional FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS he would get another truck for us. (And now the cost is up to $16,000. We were in no position other than to agree. This is the game most movers play to extort more money from you. Cut to: We had air tags in some of the boxes on both trucks. With that information in addition to talking to the movers when they arrived, we learned they stopped in Treasure Island and Citrus Heights to take everything out of both trucks and put everything of ours into a huge semi with three other families. Many items and boxes DID NOT get delivered and some glass items were broken. Please see the attached photo to get an idea of how they packed our expensive electric bikes. That alone should scare you away, We contacted Jacob but he ignored is. We called him. So far, several days later, he continues to refuse to take ANY accountability as we have not heard back from him. I do not in any way recommend this company. We are considering legal action.

Unloading I appreciate that they ask me which room they want certain things in instead of just dumping everything in one room for me to have to move it again afterwards. The move was completed in a little under 4 hours from SF to Oakland. I paid the hourly rate + gas fee and decided to pay them the rounded up hourly rate as the tip. They kept pushing against that in person and also called me 5 minutes later to say I hadn't tipped enough and there was a minimum. This was not stated before hand and is also not listed anywhere on their yelp page or website. I have never experienced this before and considering their rates are high I was very frustrated with this customer service. My home was also left messy. Pieces of plastic and bits of debris were left on the floor and the plastic wrap used to protect items was not removed at my new home. Adding to hours of extra work. The tip harassment really pushed me over the edge. I wouldn't hire them again, which is unfortunate because their thoroughness in other areas was appreciated. I've recommended many friends to my old movers but they don't service this area. Customer service like this means no repeat business and no recommendation which is much more financial loss over time compared to a slightly higher tip. Maybe think about the outcome before you call your customers asking for more?

I had Carlos and his team assemble our European style kitchen cabinets. They were made of finished…read morewood and lacquer cabinets. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

We needed a dumpster to start clearing out the house and they were able to provide a 30 cubic yard dumpster which was delivered and picked up in a week at a great price. I used Franklins moving services to move from my 2 bedroom apartment with 2 flights of stairs to a house both within the city. It was a last minute job and I was stressed but the stress left the minute they arrived. Franklin and Eddie did a fantastic job, the worked calmly and effortlessly and the move went like a dream from start to finish. Extremely professional and very personal service, what ever I asked for was done again effortlessly. It was my first experience with professional movers and I was so lucky to pick them. The owner of the company, Franklin was a great guy - very helpful and will work extra mile to provide the moving related services needs of his clients. Franklin and his employee named William were polite, punctual and very efficient. Not having a large move, they did everything in just a couple of hours in a very reasonable price. We just moved yesterday from our overly stuffed apartment and had the best experience with Franklin and his team. They arrived right when they said they would; wrapped our furniture in pads (even the crappy ikea stuff that probably didn't need it). Had special boxes for paintings and TV. And his team were worked so hard and efficiently - and super courteous with any of my asks (Ie; sorry to be annoying but I've changed my mind and can you move this here). Highly recommend. Uniformly high ratings there. I contacted three other movers. Moses was the ONLY one who showed up. Moses himself, the owner. While his rate seemed high at first compared to some lower estimates, the "cut-rate guys" weren't willing to take the time to look at my actual place, Moses' price was at least on a Not To Exceed maximum basis, I decided to accept it since it was all-inclusive for a crew of four and no add-ons.. For example, others charge extra for things like wardrobe boxes, art packing, and the drill of getting the No Parking signs in place. The last thing I wanted to hassle with, standing in line at some City Hall office. Moses was true to his word. He sent four energetic, attentive and careful men who did not so much as crack a wine glass in the process. Each one was unfailingly professional and proud of caring for our possessions. Eddie was my private personal customer representative from being to end. I was even able to book Santiago come out to my unit and do an in-person video estimate. He was extremely professional, thanks Santiago! Eddie and Santiago were absolutely amazing! My 3 man crew was exceptional and professional! These guys are super good at their job! They are the hardest and most careful working crew I've ever seen in my life! I am a very considerate, professional and fair business woman. Based on the original estimate of 5 to 6 hours for the job I had pre-envelopes made for all three of the workers with $50 per hour as a tip so that was an additional $150. Now,I must be honest and I did text Eddie when I noticed another hidden charge on my bill for materials $90.00, I was told tape and wrapping was included! Plus, I had all my own boxes. But, Eddie never replied back to my surprise based on the quick response he would give me before booking them for the job! That made me feel like: "We are done with the job and got paid, so we don't need to answer any of your questions any more"! I also, wanted to tell Eddie that there were 2 long picture frames(holding 21-4x7 photos) cracked/damaged and they cost me $100.00. My original estimate was around 5 to 6 hours it took them 8 hours with a grand total of $1,837.76 I'm here right now that would add the $90 hidden fee of materials and subtract $100 of a down payment deposit. Plus, I gave all three workers $50 tips individually! So, that was an additional $150.00, with a grand total $1,987.97 so, basically $2K all day! I also provided a case of ice water bottles for the workers. Me and my son assisted/helped packing up things too! My son was my translator because one could not speak English and the other one spoke or understood very little English and the third one could speak English very well! So, thank God my son was there and he speaks Spanish it's his 2nd language. So, I really wasn't in a hurry to post this review! But hopefully, they will reach out to me once they read this and make things right! Plus, I was extreamly sick and busy after they moved me! I never really got around to leaving a review. Even with that small negative information that I have to include in this review I would call them in a heartbeat to move me again:-))))! We had a very disappointing experience with this moving company and would not use them again…read more We were quoted $1,900 at the high end, and we intentionally overestimated our inventory and time to avoid surprises. Despite that, the final cost came out to nearly $3,000, and over $4,000 total with deposit and tip, which was completely unexpected and unreasonable. To add context, just weeks before the move I had broken my back in three places, and the company was aware of this. We were forced to move quickly because I could no longer safely go up and down stairs, and we were already losing our rental deposit due to the sudden move. They also knew we were working within limited financial means. On moving day, the truck they brought was too small, which created delays right away. The crew initially worked quickly and cleared the downstairs efficiently, but when we positively commented on how fast they were moving, the pace upstairs noticeably slowed down. From that point on, we were being charged overtime as the job dragged out. We were kind and accommodating throughout, we even provided food for the crew, but the experience felt disorganized and unnecessarily prolonged. The most frustrating part: not everything was moved. Some of our belongings were left behind, and we ultimately lost them because we couldn't retrieve them from the landlord in time. When we reached out to the owner after seeing the final charges, we were told they did nothing wrong. Every concern we raised was brushed off, and there was no accountability or willingness to address what happened. Overall, what was supposed to be a $1,900 move turned into a $4,000+ stressful ordeal with poor planning, slow execution, missing items, and no follow-up support. Given the circumstances we were in, the lack of care and transparency was especially upsetting. We would not recommend this company.

I know sometimes people think that moving companies take their time to milk the clock but NOT Jubel! Their pricing was fair, I truly appreciated the fact that after 4 hours they charge per the 15 minutes so you don't get charged for the full hour. The supervisor gentlemen (I don't know his name) was very nice and super helpful he directed the other gentlemen and really made sure everything was well taken care of. He said he has been doing moving for 15 years!! I took a photo of the guys as appreciation for their hard work, as we moved into a beautiful high rise in the city, they were also able to take in the view. Once again thank you to Jubel! Last year, we hired them to move furniture and items very locally, no truck required. We had 2 movers for 2 hours and took advantage of the lower rates Mondays-Thursdays. Julio and his helper were fast but careful with our items. This time around, Chalo and his helper were efficient. There was a point that we thought it was taking them a bit long to make trips back and forth to the truck but at the end, we understood why when we saw how well the truck load was organized. Both moves involved stairs within our apartment and they tackled it quickly and without complaints. I didn't like that they charge for move supplies but luckily we had enough of our own moving blankets, tape, and shrink wrap. They don't charge double drive time like their competitors and only a 2-hour minimum. While Chalo was the lead, both of them split the work evenly and we never worried if we were getting our money's worth. Thank you Jubel Movers!

One of the trucks was much smaller than we agreed so they had to return it--then charged me for the time spent. As a result, we ran into overtime and it cost more than the estimate. The movers, of which only three were experienced, damaged a mirror, a frame, a bookcase, and despite my guiding them carefully, a very expensive painting. Although I called, texted, and emailed Jonathon, he avoided me. I went to small claims court to try to collect the $1200 worth of damages and excessive charges, but Jonathon hid from the process servers. Jonathon is liar and not man enough to stand up for his company mistakes. What was once a great company, is unprofessional and if you have anything of value, be warned: Green Good Moving will NOT take responsibility for them. Stay away from this company.

When we got to my new location, everything was unloaded and placed where I wanted. There weren't any scuff marks or careless handling during this process! The men also reassembled my bed post. What I appreciated the most was them fitting me in on such a short notice for a day earlier. I had to reschedule due to my landlord. Real, upstanding moving company to recommend! They dealt with some bulky and heavy items down stairs at both houses without complaint or incident. I would definitely call on them again if we have the need. The only reasons for 4 stars rather than 5: minus 1/3 a star for insisting on cash and charging extra for electronic (not debit or credit card, mind you, just Zelle or Venmo). To me, this is an annoying trend in smaller businesses. Minus 1/3 a star for all three movers spending about 40 minutes trying to reassemble a sleeper sofa - that was a lot of cash burned! They had taken it apart much more quickly, and should have kept in mind how it went back together. And minus 1/3 a star for leaving all of the wrap used (which was a lot, but justified, I think, because there was no damage to any of our items) for us to dispose of. They did put it into a couple of big trash bags that we provided, but we still need to get rid of it.
