You ever want to witness one of the greatest shows of strength humans can do? Hire these guys! They look unassuming but I think these guys are made of pure muscle. I watched one of them move my full purple mattress, which is notoriously hard to wrangle on account of its floppiness, down stairs and into the truck all on his own. He just hefted the whole thing on his shoulder--totally mind blowing. It took me and my family 3 people to move it before but this guy managed to do it in record time. I only moved about a room's worth of stuff including a bed/bed frame/other furniture, and they were in the first house and out with the truck all packed and ready to go in 15 minutes flat. They even disassembled some of my furniture and put it back together at the new place to rest my mattress on. Alfonso and his friend were so awesome and respectful of the house I moved from, my new apartment, and my belongings as well. Nola, the woman handling the booking and scheduling, was also really nice and was super easy to reach about any of my questions or needs to reschedule. Totally worth every penny. While searching for movers, I went on Yelp to request quotes from moving companies. Top 10 had the best deal, so we went with them! I gave them a call to inquire about their services and Nola was very responsive, transparent and easy to work with while I booked them a week in advance. Nola said the movers would come around 3pm and they arrived right on time! The movers, Abram and Anibal were really nice guys and they moved really quick! I was moving out of my 1 bedroom apartment and it took 4.5 hours to move 12 years of things (I have a lot of things). Not bad for 2 people moving! Mind you, I was moving from the bottom floor to the 4th floor of an apartment complex right across the street. Sometimes they used the elevator (when things could fit in it since it's a small elevator) and other times, they climbed 6 flights of stairs. Talk about a workout! When it was time to pay, I was really pleased with the price. I even added a 20% cash tip to each of the movers cause they were great! Overall, I'd def book again. We hired Top 10 to unload a truck that we drove across country as we moved to the San Mateo/Half Moon Bay area. They were absolutely outstanding in every respect. From the time I first called Alfonso, to interactions with his assistant, and finally the three wonderful men who did the heavy lifting on move-in day, everything was professional and top notch. Luis, Alex, and Abran arrived on time (with a call from the office saying they were in their way!). They listened to our requests as they efficiently and carefully unloaded our truck. We had some time left in the three-hour minimum and they helped us to set up some of the items, for example assembled the bed frames and move items into final locations. All three guys were very kind and friendly. Abran was a whiz at figuring out how to put things together. Alex always had a smile even as he lifted very heavy items. Luis listened carefully and was a joy to work with. They were very patient with us as we misidentified some pieces that were all wrapped in moving blankets causing them to have to move them a second time. They did not complain and simply relocated the pieces. I recommend them highly to anyone looking for an excellent team. These guys are some of the nicest and hardest working movers I've ever come across in or outside of the city. Alfonso and his help arrived on time and hauled all of our 3BD 2BA down two flights of stairs (including sharp turns) without so much as a scratch on any of the items or walls. Then came the move in to the tight unit in North Beach. Two flights of narrow stairs in the blistering sun...still not a scratch or moment of hesitation from Alfonso and his help. Amazing is the only word to describe Alfonso. I needed to move from SF Bay Area to LA for a year for work and my family would join me a year later. Since I was working a very busy schedule till the last day I did not have much time to arrange movers etc. I called TOP10 moving company on a Tuesday after I had called a couple of other companies and been told that even though I did not have much stuff they had to charge me a minimum of 5000$ and the delivery window was 18 days. This did not include packing which was at least 300$ per hour (minimum 1000$) plus cost of supplies. Alfonso came over and looked at my stuff the same day. He and his team came a week later to pack my stuff ( which they did excellently), load their truck, and drive it to LA the NEXT DAY, where they unloaded everything. All this he did this for much less than 5000$. It was absolutely the best moving service I have ever encountered. The first thing Alfonso told me when I called him for the first time was that he wants to help people. I truly believe this. He and his team are not only efficient and professional but also kind and generous humans. I recommend TOP10 for all your moves. read more

Amazing service!! I had a reservation with a different company and they canceled on me the night before the move due to a crew member getting covid and had no replacement. Recently hired these guys to help move us out of our place and into the new one. More than happy with the work they did. Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous! I was going to be moving from CA to the Midwest, and I needed to hire a good moving company. I've moved cross-country two or three times in the past, and each time, one of the large, long distance moving lines moved my belongings because an employer was scheduling and paying for the move. I'm sure there are reliable long distance firms among the not-so-reliable ones, but I was never moved by a large interstate mover during which time some items weren't either damaged or stolen -- or both -- during the move. I wasn't going to go any of that again, so I started looking for a small, locally owned, company who did interstate moves. I looked online at a lot of moving companies, and San Mateo Movers was the only one that seemed to be what I wanted and needed. I called and spoke with Alfonso and we scheduled an in-person walk-through so he could give me an estimate. Alsonso and Nola, his office manager, arrived at my home on schedule and we talked for quite a while about what I was expecting and what San Mateo Movers had to offer. Nola took notes and later provided me with an estimate, and I knew this was the company I wanted to hire. We scheduled a date and a time for the move to begin, and Alfonso and his associate arrived right on schedule. It took a full day for them to pack my belongings and load them on the truck, but they did a marvelous job. One of the perks of going with San Mateo Movers was that only my belongings were on the truck, so there was no chance of their getting mixed in with anyone else's; and the delivery was super fast! I bought a vanity that was delivered to the garage of my four-story condo building. I thought that my contractors and I could move this up into my bathroom for a remodel when the time came. We realized that this fully assembled 350 pound beast was more than we could handle. I needed to get it installed so as to not delay the project. I called top 10 moving and explained my situation, and Alfonso said his team could be there the next day by 1 PM. They were right on time. They looked at the object and gave me great confidence that this would not be a problem. They maneuvered this thing through tight corners, through an elevator, and through some other tight corners all the way to my bathroom. They made it look so easy. Go with San Mateo movers if you want a hassle free move at a good price. I had reached out to multiple movers for quotes and shortlisted a few based on their reviews. On calling them up, Nola assured me of their service and I confirmed 2 movers. Later, due to logistic concerns, Nola offered me 3 movers which I accepted. I dismantled my beds, packed nearly all my stuff in boxes prior to the move. Given we had 40 boxes in our 2 bed apartment on the second floor, I was concerned the move would take all day. I was skeptical that the 3 movers were an upsell, but the team of Anivel, Edgar and Pedro proved me wrong. They arrived early, got to work quickly and loaded my 2 bed room apartment into their truck in an hours time! Our move was an hour and half drive away, once they reached, our team of 3 got to unload immediately. They worked fast and efficiently and completed unloading across 2 storeys to the rooms we wanted in an hour. Overall, our move was completed in 3.5 hours!
