    The turkey club.

The service is great, friendly staff that greets you with a smile. The food is good, and servings are big, in fact you can probably share a meal with a friend and be satisfied. Its a nice clean dinner with a good atmosphere and indoor or outdoor seating. If you have a large party, everyone orders their own meal and pays at the counter so you don't have to worry about the bill. There's a reason why The Franklin St Cafe has been around since the mid 90s. It will continue to be a family favorite.

This spot is downtown in sequoia station. Service was good. When ordering you need to order and pay first then they will give you a number and you choose your seating. Food was ok, there could be more flavor. The bacon was also a little overcooked. I would try this place again though!

Earlier tonight my mom and I stopped by this comfy cafe to warm ourselves up from the rain. We've been here plenty times before to enjoy brunch and the food is always filling and delicious. Tonight we ordered a chai latte and mocha with a pumpkin cheesecake cupcake and apple turnover- the chai wasn't too sweet and checked off all what I would want a chai to taste like; it paired well with the cupcake that was sweet and I especially loved the pumpkin flavor and how moist it was. My mom enjoyed the mocha and apple turnover warmed up. The service is always prompt and friendly- they were quite busy for a rainy night which I appreciate due to the fact that people are supporting such a great business. Thank you Franklin Street Caffe for a consistent pleasant experience.

Lots of options to choose from on the menu, and the portion sizes were quite large. The service was quick, and the employees were very kind. Side note, their salad dressing is so delicious!

Went here for lunch on a rainy Saturday. You order at the counter and then find a table. We ordered the Italian omelette and the artichoke chicken, some soft drinks and sat down. Was pretty busy, but we were lucky that there was still a table available. Food arrived pretty quickly. Both dishes were good with generous portion sizes. Would have liked some more artichokes in the artichoke chicken dish though Potatoes were great ! What I liked most about the place is the relaxed but cozy atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

I found this homey, hole in the wall brunch spot in Redwood City and decided to give it a try! My friends and I went here after dragon boat practice (check out @southbaysynergy on IG) at BIAC since we ended practice at around 9 AM. We were all super hungry and decided to visit this cafe since it was one of the only places that was open. There was plenty of seating outdoors and minimal seating indoors but luckily it was early enough that we were open to move all the outdoor tables together to accommodate for our group. The cashier was definitely patient with us since we ordered one after another. I decided to order the Italian Scrambler with sourdough toast. The potatoes were good but wished it was a little bit crispier (my personal preference). You can't go wrong with sourdough toast and it was a great treat with the scrambler. I loved the amount of meat they added into the scrambler. I kinda though the slice of orange was random LOL. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and the employees were super nice towards us. Maybe I'll try something new next time!

Food is delicious. Customer service is amazing. This place is a must when in Redwood City. Patio is nice on a sunny day. Inside is cozy. Solid place.

Definitely worth getting the umami fries as they were seasoned to perfection. A perfect starting side! Horsefeather is a perfect brunch spot to stop by and try in this Old Town and Country Palo Alto plaza. I have never heard of this chain nor in their other locations before and was definitely satisfied afterwards with their great dishes and their aesthetically modern decorated interior. The dishes here are American so you'd get what you typically get for breakfast from scrambles to French Toast, and we ordered the French Toast, the Chicken and Waffles, and a Salad during our visit here. All of what was ordered was perfect and beautifully plated upon arrival and out of all that was ordered, I have to say the chicken and waffles with their matcha butter & syrup was their standout dish. I have never seen matcha infused with butter but it was perfect and complimented the waffle just right. The chicken was fried and juicy inside and the waffle in general was toasted with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and soft interior. French Toast was a definite close contender too, where the toast was still gooey soft as expected and served with syrup & cream on the side. Salad was good but nothing too extraordinary about it. The staff here were all very nice and on a busy lunch day, I was surprised & pretty sure just lucky was able to get a table in less than 10 min on a Sunday. For weekend brunch, Horsefeather is a perfect spot to visit & enjoy the pre-afternoon before enjoying Palo Alto. I would highly recommend checking this place out and will definitely be back for more.

Our favorites were the kimchi deviled eggs, the miso linguini pasta, and the yuzu dessert. One thing I did notice was the seating arrangement. I had seen another Yelp review mentioning that they were seated right next to another party despite the restaurant being mostly empty, and we had a similar experience. Even with plenty of open tables, we were seated directly beside another group, making it easy to hear each other's conversations. It wasn't a huge issue, but a little more spacing would have made the dining experience feel more comfortable. Overall, the food and service were great.

Now I gotta drive either to RWC or SL to get this fix. Saturdays are Prime Rib nights and that's what you want to get. My first visit though was on some random weekday when I was in town and really didn't know what to order. I ended up getting a Pastrami sandwich because I saw they hand carve their meats, and I have been craving something as close to Katz Deli in NYC as possible. It's definitely not as good but it was decent. I came back for Prime Rib on Saturday and that was a massive hit. Honestly the best Prime Rib under $30 in the area, and I've tried several. Line can be long, ended up waiting 35 minutes. The line system can be optimized, but it is what it is. Love the condiments at the table, they use Beaver branded everything. From strong horse radish that'll make your nasals burn and your tear ducts flow, to whole grain deli mustard (which is my favorite kind of mustard), perfect for sandwiches.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've experienced poor treatment from the older cook with the mustache who works on the right side of the serving line, but it will likely be my last visit while he is working there. My wife and I entered hungry and ordered a roast beef sandwich. She ordered before I did, and while we were moving down the serving line, I heard this employee repeatedly raise his voice at my wife, telling her several times in succession to "bring your tray." The woman working behind the line even looked over at me, and we exchanged a glance that seemed to acknowledge how inappropriate his tone was toward a customer. When it came time to prepare my sandwich, another cook sliced the roast beef. The sandwich looked noticeably light on meat compared to what I've consistently received during previous visits. I politely asked if they could add one more slice. Before anyone else could respond, the older cook loudly said, "Four ounces of meat per sandwich only," repeating it twice. The sandwich was still open, and it was obvious it could have used another slice, but after being spoken to that way, I simply dropped the issue. By that point, my appetite was gone. I became quiet, sat down at our table, and found myself writing this review instead of enjoying dinner. I came in hungry and left upset. What makes this especially disappointing is that I visited just last week when a different cook was working--perhaps this employee's day off. That experience was excellent. The food was good, the portions were appropriate, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. I understand that restaurants have portion standards, and I wasn't looking for free food. My issue was never the policy--it was the way my wife and I were spoken to. A little courtesy and professionalism go a long way. Sadly, I probably won't return while this employee continues treating customers this way. I hope management addresses the issue because Harry's Hofbrau has always been a place I've enjoyed, and I'd rather remember it for its great food than for an unpleasant experience.

One thing that stood out during this visit was the incredible teamwork. Every employee was constantly moving, helping guests, and supporting one another. We also noticed the manager walking the dining room, checking in with guests and making sure everything was going well. It was refreshing to see such a hands-on approach. Our appetizers took a little longer than expected, which honestly didn't bother us--we hadn't even noticed. But the manager did. One word of warning: arrive with an empty bladder and a working relationship with patience, because the restroom line moves like it is being reviewed by a committee. Das Bierhauz is located right next to the VTA and Caltrain station, which makes it a very practical stop before heading to a game at Levi's Stadium. There is shaded outdoor seating and indoor seating, but this place fills up fast. Do not show up late and expect the universe to hand you a table. The universe has other appointments. The beer selection is very good. We got there around 6 PM before the Austria vs. Jordan World Cup match, and the stouts were already sold out. That tells you two things: people know what they are doing here, and you may need to move with purpose. Order the huge 20 oz glass if you want to have fun. It is not subtle. It announces itself. Food-wise, the combination appetizer is a strong move for a group of three or four. It comes with hummus, crushed eggplant, olives, a cucumber-yogurt-style dip, and other Mediterranean support staff. For the main dish, I recommend the veal knockwurst with fries. It was simple, filling, and did its job without trying to explain itself. The ordering system is where things get a little loose. Seating is basically self-directed, which means the bold inherit the tables. The line to order can feel scattered, although the menu is clearly posted above the cashier. You order, pay, receive one of those coaster number things, then sit down and trust that civilization will continue. To their credit, the staff found us with the beer and food without incident. There were TVs everywhere showing Argentina vs. Algeria, and with the international crowd in the room, the energy was like getting electrocuted by friendly aliens experimenting on how to make adrenaline surges in the body lightning fast. Loud, lively, and just the right amount of chaotic. Overall, I would give Das Bierhauz a 4 out of 5. I would not want to be here when it is absolutely packed, mostly because the queue system could become chaotic like a school of fish in a class on how to properly get into an auto accident. That said, the staff were reliable, the food was good, the beer was strong, and the location is hard to beat before a game.

There are also richer items (milk bread, sesame pancake as an example) Recommend: - any of the fish: coconut fritter with salmon, kampachi, halibut - steak was fantastic - salads: loved the little gems with dashi Overall, phenomenal spot with friendly and fast service. Would come back!

I took out a friend for her birthday here and it was a vibe! Made a reservation online about a week…read morebefore. The milk bread, as everyone also said is amazing!!! It's so soft and with the butter melting on it it's just the perfect texture and a little sweet. I could eat a whole loaf of this. Must get. The sesame pancakes reminded me of a chinese dish. The avocado and salmon dip was interesting! I didn't expect that. It took some getting used to. The yellowfin rice was good, though raw fish being warm is a little weird to me. I don't think this is a must get. I liked the flavors otherwise. The octopus was one of my favorites. I loved the sauce for it and the jalapeños were a nice touch! The pork chop was one of my favorites as well!! I love how it was experimented with peaches; I'd never think to try those together but it works. The short rib steak was amazing! It's suuuper tender and I'm still thinking about it. Though I probably wouldn't eat it with the green beans; it didn't seem to go well together but it did with the mushrooms. The service is great here; they even took a napkin that was hung on my chair and folded it neatly onto the table again. I wish the portion sizes were bigger here overall, when you share with four people you're only getting like a bite each and for the prices even though it's a fancier place I'd expect to get a litttleee more (i've seen other fancy places have bigger sizes)
