Don't order off DoorDash because it's a complete mess. I ordered the pastrami with cheese that clearly did not list anything else on the sandwich and ended up with all these ingredients I did not order. The site then charged me for cheese and chips and a drink and there was no way to not get the additional items. The store even messaged me and I was very clear NO lettuce on my sandwich. Then I get all this lettuce and arugula and tomatoe?? The sandwich was also not good the meat was dry and it was expensive.

Stopped by The Sandwich Guy for the first time, and wow... I'm already planning my next visit! I ordered the hot pastrami with melted cheese and the pesto mayo, and it was SO good. The bread was incredibly soft and fresh, the veggies had the perfect crunch, and all the spreads were amazing. I especially loved the pesto mayo and the vinegar dressing--it added so much flavor without overpowering the sandwich. I ordered through DoorDash, and it was ready in about 7 minutes instead of the 15-minute estimate. Super impressed! I also loved that they have a great selection of chips, candy, snacks, sodas, juices, and drinks. It's such a convenient little spot, and everyone was really friendly. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I even grabbed another sandwich to go because I already knew I'd want more later! Next time I'm definitely trying one of their fresh salads or pasta salads because everything looked so good. First visit and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Easy 5 stars. So happy Redwood City has a sandwich shop like this!

Gave this place a try and I am glad I did! This place looks a lot better than the previous one. I really like that you can actually watch them making your sandwich. I got the promotional meal for $14.95 which comes with sandwich, chips and soda. Really delicious and great customer service. I will be returning.

    Ham & cheese

Our second time here! Food was yummy and fresh and the service was great. I got the ham and cheese sandwich with a sourdough roll and provolone (without mustard and peppers). My brother got the hot pastrami sandwich and liked it! We've also been loving the deal where you get a free bag of chips and drink with the sandwich!

Was in San Francisco for work, stopped by this place. Awesome sandwich's for great price. highly recommended

They recommended the hot pastrami and it was my favorite between that and the buffalo chicken sandwich.

The bread is fresh, some of its baked in the store. The meat is high-quality. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. The combinations are interesting and tasty. The condiments are typical or unusual whatever you wanna try. The french fries are fresh cut really crisp with good seasoning. Nice selection of California tap beer and full bar if you're into that. Indoor and outdoor seating, clean restrooms. In the evening, it turns into a hookah social event with Middle Eastern music. I've never done hookah, but it looks like the people doing it are having fun. The reason this place is so well run is the owner seem to be there most of the time and take a lot of pride. This is a truly top-tier spot. Enjoy.

WHAT IN THE DELICATESSEN IS GOING ON HERE AT MO'S??!!…read more First, check out my pics, then absolutely get here as soon as possible to enjoy some crazy delicious sammies and other treats! Tiny little baby deli on the edge of Belmont and San Carlos border, nice peeps serving up some seriously nice quality deli goodness. Tiny shopping center on El Camino Real with baby parking lot, lots of street parking free on the boulevard. I ordered the Sanburger 2 and chocolate croissant. Words cannot do the sammie justice, except that it's a dang Big Mac, but no burger and healthy! Whaaaaattt???!! Yes, you read that right. I want to eat this sammie everyday. Recommendation, get the sammie as they serve it for the Big Mac replica effect. There are Sanburgers 1-5. The one I ordered is 2, roast beef. They melt the American cheese on the sliced roast beef, then placed on the sesame seeded bun with shredded lettuce, mustard, MO's special sauce and lots of lovin'. When I took my first bite, I said out loud, "Am I eating a Big Mac?!" Very creative are these folks. The chocolate croissant speaks for itself. It's fully loaded flaky croissant goodness and it's huge! Head over to Mo's for an excellent sammie experience! Plan for to-go as it is very tiny, however, there are tables and outside area, too. The location used to be a Subway for years. Very nice new flavor in town. I believe they opened in 2024. I will definitely return!

$13 (plus tax). Cubano sandwich is better than 3 stars, but not yet at 4…read more Good bread can make or break a sandwich, but it has to be in balance with everything else. I'm not buying a bread sandwich. The bread's job is really to frame and support the other ingredients and not dominate the experience. In the Cubano, the bread did bookend and support the ingredients, but there was simply too much of it compared to the important ingredients like the proteins. The crumb was thick and overwhelming, so each bite started with a mouthful of bread rather than a mix of the flavors. That was especially disappointing because the meats were clearly a step above what you find at most sandwich shops. The ham was carved directly from the bone which deserves recognition. Tasted alone, it had great flavor and was a quality product. The pickles were green and snapped with freshness. But these ingredients got lost behind the excess bread. With a better bread-to-filling ratio, the ham and the rest of the ingredients would have made more on an impact. As for the shop itself, when I first walked in, it felt like the kind of neighborhood spot where one of Tony Soprano's guys might stop by to collect a protection payment. I half expected a bagman to emerge from a back-room card game wearing an undersized sleeveless T-shirt with a filterless Camel hanging from his lips. It's not intimidating, but a bit of no-frills grit and unapologetically old school. I had the cashier pick between the two sandwiches I was considering and went with the recommendation. The process is straightforward -they make the sandwich and hand it over the counter. I wasn't asked whether it was for here or to go, and since it arrived in a brown paper bag, I took that as my cue to start walking with it. Character isn't this place's problem. The shop has personality, the ingredients are quality as the ham deserves praise. But for me, the bread overwhelmed everything else. A better protein:bread ratio would have earned this place another star.

You have to place your order before they give you a table to sit at, which I found be more efficient than waiting for a table. I ordered the burrata toast and had the option to switch out my salad with potatoes for $3 more. I opted to try the potatoes since my friend mentioned that they were super flavorful. My friend and I sat down close the the entrance and only waited about 10 mins for our food to come out. The pesto spread on the toast worked well with the burrata and tomato and the potatoes were in fact, super flavorful!! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

I honestly thought it was an office building as I've passed by so many times, but was glad when friends suggested coming here to enjoy brunch in their back patio! I tried the shakshuka with sausage and it was flavorful. Got an iced latte that was decent. P2 got the yogurt (and apparently cotton candy-topped) pancakes and a hot mocha which were good! Friends all ordered things from grain bowls to waffles and things with eggs and all were raving about the food. Place is self service: you order at the counter, grab your water and utensils, and a runner drops the food to your table. The only downsides here were that it's slightly on the pricey side in my book and parking was a little meh. We got here at 10am on a Saturday and they have a parking person directing confused visitors where to go. The lot was already full so we parked on the street. Other than that, this place is a really nice spot to relax with friends or a date for weekend brunch! I'll definitely come back!
