Used Frank's Auto Body for minor bumper damage from deer on Acura. Estimate included headlight, several body panels and painting/clearcoat adjoining panels. Received car back with missing / lost trim and not even washed but that's not the worst of it. Could clearly see several body panels were not even replaced per the estimate and when I questioned Rob said they don't have to follow the estimate. Ok so I guess they can collect the inflated estimate from insurance and take shortcuts on YOUR CAR at your expense. Frank's collected $5K for basically painting a bumper and putting in an inferior light that projects vertical black lines. My advise DO NOT LET THEM WORK WITH YOUR INSURANCE DIRECTLY or it will be a low quality patch job on your car. read more

Our car was recently hit in a parking lot and we had to have the entire driver door replaced. We were referred to Frank's by our Volvo dealer. It was a bit far from our house but I'm glad that we made the trip. Rob and his team were fantastic. They made the process seamless and dealt directly with the insurance company. I took my Infinity to Frank's Auto Body after it was in an accident. They are EXTREMELY DISHONEST and you should not trust them with your car or repairs. First they lied to to the insurance company and overstated the estimate. When the insurance decided to scrap the car, they revised and lowered the bid. The estimate was then approved by the insurance company including the purchase and replacement of 2 doors. I specified that I wanted the doors replaced not repaired due to the extensive damage. Subsequent to picking up my car, I noticed the rear door had markings that were on the original door and also the handle was not operative. I called Rob and he admitted that he repaired the original door but was unwilling to compensate me or fix the damage. THIS SHOP IS A SCAM - BEWARE!!! read more

Did very poor work on my 2019 tundra truck and then tried to tell me that it wasn't bad work and then when I finally called the dealership who recommended me there I got a call that they were going to take care of it. The work was still not done great and can see the not fabulous body filling work. After my interaction I do not feel I could ever trust them again they were more interested in beating me up and forcing me to accept what they did as good work even though it was really not good work and it was full price. Except cash only which is a red flag for me and if I hadn't been recommended there by the dealership I would have left right away. Not a place I would refer anyone to any longer. read more

After my experience with this business, I feel compelled to share my horrible encounter. I was in a car accident, therefore my car was towed to this business. I didn't want my car to be towed to this business because I had heard from word of mouth that this is not a trustworthy business. Therefore I found an auto body of my choice. When calling Frank, he did everything in his nature for me not get my car back. Just for the car to be towed over night was almost $300 which consisted of the actually towe itself, and then they added a few other miscellaneous fees. Then Frank gave me a hard time because the car was impounded illegally. So I came to this actual business to pick up my car where he continued to discourage me from getting my car by asking where I was taking the car, and then trying to close his business so that I would not be able to get the car, and then trying his best to say that insurance will give me problems if I remove my car. This is not a trustworthy business and have completely lost my respect. read more

I don't normally write reviews but felt the need to regarding Franks Auto Body Shop in Hillburn, NY. This was the second time I took a car to their shop. the first time was a brand new Jeep which was dented in a parking lot. I payed out of pocket and the car was perfect , paint and everything matched and you would never know there was a repair. They charged me a couple hundred dollars which I thought was quite cheap. Fast forward to Halloween, my 2010 Ford was hit and I immediately called Franks. He sent someone to check out car and make sure it was safe to drive. Although the headlight was hit as well, it was still light and I took car to their shop and they drove me home. They set up a rental car, dealt with the insurance company and fixed the car perfect! as a matter a fact, there were a few odds and ends which needed repair and he did them for me at no charge! My ten year old car looks brand new, detailed , carpet and seats shampooed and all. Thanks to Frank, Anthony and Rob for making this process so seamless and providing a perfect job with a fast turn around time ! read more
