Great little neighborhood spot! Love the relaxed atmosphere and reasonable drink prices - this place is definitely somewhere you can come chill on a weeknight or weekend! They have beer, wine, and canned cocktails, as well as capri suns and juice boxes and snacks. Dog friendly too

We were a walk in but were able to score a table outside which was perfect. The drinks are good and the staff members work as a team so there's not one primary waitress. I ordered a custom drink where I told the server what I liked and the bartender created something based on my likes. It was a "fruity" tequila based drink and I enjoyed it. We were given a bowl of complementary kettle corn to enjoy with our drinks. The music was a mix of r&b and hip hop and was loud enough to vibe but didn't overpower the conversations. Random Notes: Parking is validated and the hidden bathroom was so cute. The inside is perfect for selfies lol.

There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.

The restaurant was very cute and intimate. Our server, Matt was very friendly and took drink orders while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. I ordered a bottle of still and sparkling water. The waters took a while to arrive and we had multiple other servers come to our tap to offer tap water which we ended up taking, because the bottled water still hadn't arrive after 10-15 minutes. Our server was apologetic and let us know that the bar was backed up. This was during Queen's Feast week, so it may have been busier than normal. We ordered appetizers and entrees. I wanted to try the deviled eggs, lamb meatballs, tuna tacos, and Rockefeller oysters...I enjoyed all except the meatballs weren't my fav. The manager brought out Brussels sprouts for our wait. SN: we were waiting around 20 mins for apps and even longer for our food. The server informed that they recently hired a new chef who was still acclimating. Later I was provided a cute champagne tree for my friends and I to enjoy! It was beautiful! I enjoyed my food and would give the restaurant another try. We did have to park in the parking garage which the restaurant was very informative about where we could and could not park. It was a 3-5 min walk from the restaurant. We paid $10 for 3 hours. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures due to the event and yapping, but I do have some.

I was visiting…read morethe nearby Bohemian Wine Bar with my girlfriend, and she was dismayed that they were out of this hard ginger beer she really enjoys. One of the employees informed her that The Hop Shop is owned by the same owner, and has it on tap! So we decided to take a walk over and visit. I had heard of this place tucked away behind Moo & Brew but had never visited which I now realize is a mistake, and I have been missing out. They are part bottle shop and part tap room, but more than that this place feels like a welcoming and chill neighborhood hang out. There was a live musician singing and playing guitar of both covers and some of his original tracks. There was a fluffy dog hanging out in one the chairs like he owned the place. They have several seating options from large wooden tables to soft plush sofas, even some swinging couches hanging from the ceiling. The walls are vibrant and full of murals, and the whole space just feels alternative but still approachable and not pretentious. In other words this place seemed very much at home in Plaza Midwood one of the coolest neighborhoods in Charlotte. We ended up staying far longer than originally planned just because we were loving the vibes. I can't wait to visit again.

There's a beautiful, spacious patio, a small coffee shop and takeaway area up front, a cozy bar, and a main dining restaurant area. Their wine wall and overall selection are incredibly impressive. They also feature a great cocktail menu--and for my fellow martini fans, they have blue cheese olives (IYKYK). The staff is super inviting and helpful with recommendations. You definitely won't be disappointed if you order the mussels, tuna, or scallops. Pro Tip: Be sure to go with someone who is willing to order something different so you can share and try a bit of everything!

Girl dinner is $25 for Caesar salad, a martini, and fries. The Caesar salad did not taste like Caesar at all, mostly like lemon. But it was still yummy! The steak was sooo delicious but not worth an additional $14. The fries were perfect! And the espresso martini was awesome as well. The bar took foreverrrrr to get our 2 espresso martinis and one beer out to us, around 20 minutes. Our food came out before our drinks, big yikes! Other than that we had a good experience.
