A little day trip to Charlotte meant I had to find a local bar and so happy I stumbled upon this one which happened to be a Dominican owned spot (heyyyyy ) - I tried two of their local brews which were amazing & a side of their lemon pepper wings which were chefs kiss. There were murals all around, good music playing and a large tv which I'm sure streams games. Perfect spot to grab a bite and hang out for a while!

I really love this spot! My friends and I stopped by on Saturday to check out their coffee party and had a super fun chill time. I got there about noon after a yoga class and it wasn't super packed at all. I was happy about that because I know folks love Salud, as they should. I think I was just early and that was perfect. I loved teh music and the DJ, the vibe was so upbeat and positive. It matched the beautyiful sopace and day operfectly. Salud has so many beautiful plants and art. It's such a vibe. I ordered the lox bagel sandwich and it came on a cheddar jalapeno bagel. SO GOOD!!! I loved the lil cup of pineapple chunks, canned but yummy. Next time I definitely want to try some coffee and a cocktail. Such a fun time!!

Staff were super cheerful, sweet, attentive. I went for a WFH event. Lots of seating to work from home. There are plugs for computers. Music was not loud. I had the beet salad with chicken. So good!!!! I also had the Miel y Canela coffee. Also really good. I will be coming back for sure!

Love this place. It's such a chill spot and you have a variety of beers, although I tend to stick to the same one every time also a variety of pizza which I stick to the same two every time, but always a great experience. Today, I received service from Grace and Callista both very friendly. I look forward to returning!!!

April 2025: The food at Salud is incredible. I don't know how I forgot about that. So, when I went back recently, I made sure to indulge in the items that I knew would really deliver. Their pizzas are amazing, and there is something for everyone whether you are a meat lover, more plant-based, whatever. And the wings are really good too! I also ordered an espresso martini. And while they didn't have espresso, the bartender was able to make it with a nitro cold brew, and it was the smoothest espresso martini I've ever had. Probably the best one yet. And I'm wondering if they could even re-create it. It was giving, once in a lifetime. Anyway, I can't really comment on the beer because I didn't have any on this trip and it's been a while since I've drank their brews. But I do remember them being good. Last time I was here, I had a mimosa. Another thing about Salud is it's pretty chill. I appreciate the laid-back vibes and it can easily be a family/friendly spot as long as it's not one of the live DJ nights. So families should go during the daytime. Downstairs, you will find the bottle shop. So good!

Beer and pizza is a top tier combo. What happens when both of those things are also top tier? You get Salud. Salud not only has one of the best beer bars (downstairs) in America offering many options for beer lovers but they also brew their own beer that's eclectic, delicious and nothing short of amazing. There's also good variety so you're sure to find something you like. After you're done eyeing the bottle selection and draft list downstairs (maybe grabbing a beer) youll want to head upstairs past the cool graffiti where you'll find yourself in the coziest boho inspired lounge. That's where you'll find the most creative pizzas in all their glory. I got the Latin lingo which had so many flavors going on blended together. One of the best pizzas, and my favorite pizza spot hands down!

Great local spot here in Noda area of Charlotte! Vibes are awesome. Food was fantastic! Try it out!

Second time around! Ordered the El Gordo pizza, wings, and Abomination F Dry January Beer. This James Beard nominated brewery is nothing to play with! The food is amazing, service, people, and ambiance are always friendly, and I love the laid back feel of the place. As a bonus, there is a lounge upstairs, where every third Saturday is Latin night. So get your grub and cervecita on, enjoy great food and support local, before NoDa shuts everything down due to its rising rents Support Local!

This place was amazing! The decor inside was so cute. We got breakfast crunchwraps and the breakfast burrito, and everything was delicious. The burrito may be one of my favorite in Charlotte. The iced latte was also one of my favorite I've had. One of the servers, James, struck up conversation with our table and was so sweet! Will definitely be back!

Loved how easy SALUD is to access from the parking deck. Great ambiance and lovely people. Had incredible food and beer. We celebrated our son's college graduation at SALUD. We would certainly return. Service was great.

Super cute little bar in NoDa...live plants all over the place. Plenty of different seating areas and there is even shuffle board. A group of us came on a Saturday afternoon...we had planned on bar hopping and this was our second stop. We all chose different beers and ordered some pizza rolls and wings to share. There seemed like a large selection of beer but there were a lot of sours and only one stout. The pizza rolls were REALLY good and I thought the wings were too but one of our party said they were too hot. We really enjoyed our visit...I'll come back the next time I'm in Charlotte.

We love visiting breweries. We were very excited when we saw a Latino brewery during our short trip to Charlotte. We had a very relaxing time. We ordered a flight and we enjoyed every single one of them. Friendly staff. Great ambiance. Wish we could visit on a night they open for floor for Latin dance. Highly recommend.

Not only are the pizzas absolutely massive, but they're also incredibly delicious. The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. It has the perfect texture and flavor and is good enough to eat on its own. Every bite was fantastic, and the quality really stands out. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

The pizza looked great and was not burnt or undercooked - but seemed a little soggier than normal (typically it's more dry/crunchy). The service was still very good and pleasant. The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

It had been sitting there under the lights for too long. Because the place was busy, and we do have empathy for how hard servers work, we did not send it back or say anything. Just ate as much as we could The meatball appetizer was small and not overly flavorful--a lot for $14, just to add that in. Also, many of the appetizers are cheese-type dishes, which feels like a bit much if you're already there for pizza. Why PB puts SO much sauce on their pies, I don't know. They could save a few dollars by cutting the amount in half. Maybe their other pies are not as soggy, and the fact that margherita pies have a more watery cheese is a factor. Still, we nearly had to eat it like soup. The service was fine--could've been a little more attentive. But there are a dozen other pizzerias in Charlotte that are much better.

Their patio is so fun, the street you overlook is pretty chill so there weren't a lot of cars or noise. The area has good enough traffic for decent people watching, that's always fun. Our server was so funny and cool. I wish I could remember his name, but he was having a good convo with the person I was with about basketball and it was just really nice. It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. It was nice to actually meet the owner too, he is the person who greeted us when we walked in and he was really nice. This place just seems like a good neighborhood spot. Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.
