We tried this cafe for the first time this morning and we were impressed! Great location and the staff and the food were wonderful! The owner Frank introduced himself to us and he was the sweetest. We love the hometown feel this place was giving. We had the Portuguese omelet and the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

Great downtown local spot to enjoy some good food. We enjoyed our late breakfast on a Monday mid day afternoon great way to start off the month of December Parking is tight since it's located on. Small business block there is. Parking lot to use if no street parking is available Can't go wrong with anything you choose to eat. We enjoyed some omekettes and club sandwiches

It's a small but busy place. They have both inside and outside seating so you don't have to wait for a table to be available. The menu is mix of breakfast and lunch food that you can order from anytime of the day. Everytime i go to a breakfast spot and they offer Country/Chicken fried steak, that's the first thing o go for. It's a make or break for me if this will be a repeat order from me. So with that being said, their Country fried steak was a repeat order from me. It has crispy thin batter and tender meat and smothered with peppery Country gravy served with eggs (I like mine over easy) and hash brown. It also comes with your choice of toast, pancake or biscuits w/ gravy. I also like their other food menu like omelets and French toast which I have also tried before. This place is a repeat breakfast spot for me and my Family. They're attentive, keeps your coffee refilled and always have your food hot and fresh.

Little skillet action. Super bomb. I'm stuffed and have quite a bit left over!

We came on a pretty quiet Tuesday morning and we are glad we beat the crowds! Every table filled up as soon as we sat down and we had 5 adults & 3 kids! Coffee was hot and fresh. Served within 10-15 mins of ordering & I've had a LOT of breakfasts in my life but this is easily in the top 5 of all time. Got a Skillet with sunny side up eggs. (Reallllllly good! Very filling & plenty left over or to share)! Others got Chorizo omelette, senior breakfast, waffles & the kids split a pancake meal. The most impressive hash browns we have had in years as they were requested "extra crispy" & they were delivered as such. 5/5 would MF recommend y'all!!! Very attentive staff, great cook, and for 5 adults & 3 kids, it was reasonably priced (130ish before tip). Thank you!

Came here on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Place is a nice hole in the wall. Inside it seemed dark and tightly spaced so we were happy to sit outside with a a warmer overhead. The service was friendly and quick. The food was well presented. I liked my eggs, hash browns, and sausages. My French toast lacked flavor and came with cheap syrup. My son liked his sunrise sandwich and potatoes.

Fried zucchini so delish must order.

Came here with family for breakfast and the experience was great!! The customer service was amazing with Frank (the restaurant owner) being very enthusiastic and jolly, creating a fun and humorous experience! The other servers were also very kind and cooperative. The ambiance was also very light and lively with the greenery and cream colored walls. The only contrasting factor is the seating being black. The music playing was very 50's diner style but was also upbeat and lively. The food was considerately proportional and fulfilling. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, the eggs were perfect and the sausage links were very flavorful and great texture! The biscuits and gravy were very big! Super filling. It was moderately flavorful, not too much but could be a bit more flavorful. The biscuits were super fluffy and baked just perfect! Overall, this was a good experience to start the day with. Intertwining tastiness and humorous Frank crating a fun and light atmosphere. We will definitely continue to support this small and local businesses in Manteca.

Wonderful breakfast spot. Had to order the Mexican hot chocolate. It was a must. My husband needed up ordering one for himself after trying mine. I had the chicken fried steak which was tender and fried perfectly, I then opted for hand browns, scrambled egg, and a pancake. I would order meal again. My husband had the chorizo burrito and he enjoyed it. Service was great and quick. And if you happen to be staying at the Great Wolf Lodge it is conveniently close by.

I had been on a bit of a cheeseburger kick at the time that I came here. I was on the hunt for the best cheeseburger in the general area. Unfortunately, when I got to this place I ended up receiving a sub par cheeseburger. I'd say a bit below average. Was a little burnt, very dry, and poorly placed in the container so the bun was kind of smashed. I will say that the fries were decently crispy at least. Now generally my reviews are more about dine-ins. In general I feel that's more fair. But then I do to-go orders like this. I'm parked right by the restaurant to I can eat it at peak freshness. Keeping all that in mind, the overall quality should not have decreased drastically enough to justify the cheeseburger being that sub par. Now they are sort of a small restaurant so I feel compelled to give them another chance eventually.

Came here with the fam after our stay in Great Wolf Lounge. We got seated promptly and they asked if we would like Coffee. Which my mom and I said, "of coarse." After browsing the menu, we all decided to order something different. The food was really good, but the winner was the coffee with hot chocolate. That drink was really, really good. Overall, great place to come and have brunch with. Great service as well.

Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

After checking out their extensive wall menu, I ordered a plain Bagel with Lox, an Asai bowl and a Sea Salt Caramel iced coffee to go. Like I mentioned above, they have an extensive menu which really impressed me. I was also impressed by their super large espresso machine. My order took about ten minutes to prepare and I headed off with my bag and drink towards home. At the house and before tearing into my food, my camera ate first. My Bagel with Lox was dynamite. Super thick cut of fresh salmon with cream cheese, capers, onion and cucumbers gave the sandwich a nice crunch. My Sea Salt Caramel coffee was great and their Asai bowls are impressive. The restaurant is connected to (or at least shares a building with) the casino, so parking can be a little tricky. Most of the lot was full when we arrived, and I ended up parking on the street. Inside, it's really cute. They have a great wine display right when you walk in, a cozy dining area, and a small outdoor patio that looked like a nice spot to sit. Service was good. Nothing over the top, but friendly and exactly what you'd expect. The menu sounded fantastic, which made me really excited. We ordered oysters, lobster bisque, filet mignon, scallop pasta, lobster mac and cheese, and I had an Old Fashioned. The oysters and bisque were both okay, the filet and pasta were decent, but honestly nothing really stood out. The biggest disappointment was the lobster mac and cheese. If you love lobster mac like I do and always order it when it's on the menu, I'd skip this one. It wasn't really mac and cheese at all. The sauce didn't taste cheesy, the presentation wasn't appealing, and it ended up being one of my least favorite versions I've had. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, but the food just didn't wow me. If someone invited me back for another celebration, I'd happily go. It just wouldn't be my first choice if I were picking the restaurant myself.
