Honestly it was very average. You get what you pay for with a four dollar slice. It is a very crowded place, and they had nothing but cheese and veggie left so I didn't get to try their other pizza types. Went to watch the home opener of the Houston Dynamo and then went to yelp to see what was near by and saw Frank's Pizza was popular. Lots of traffic pulled over with their hazards, waiting for pizza to go, my wife ran in and got us two slices of cheese pizza. They were so good! Came across this place late one night walking back to my hotel after a series of conference receptions. Love the vibe! Came to Frank's Pizza before a concert nearby. Decided to try it out on a Sunday evening and we did free street parking a 3 minute walk away. We then decided to order and for a fresh pizza slice it took 15-20 minutes. The Pesto Chicken Pizza was well made and the crust was delicious. The margarita pizza was also well done and was incredibly fresh and light enough to eat. Got the barbecue pizza (no chicken) I didn't enjoy it much as it had a weird taste (could be due to no chicken). They sold water bottles for $1 and also had a soda machine. The seating was a bit limited but expected for downtown. I paid ~$8 for two slices and it filled me up very well. Would definitely recommend a visit when in town! read more

I had read that this was the best pizza in town. So we had to try it. It was around 6 pm on a weekday. Decent amount of Astros fans inside. At about $4 a slice I didn't think it was worth it. My pizza slice was cool. My daughters slice was hot though. I guess it depends on how long it's been sitting out. Taste wise it would be better drunk. Which is how many experience it I think. The wait in line and for the food was probably around 30 minutes. The pizza had plentiful toppings and was delicious! The crust of the pizza had a good crunch.
