I really like Frank's selection of pizza. They normally have a ton of different options from eggplant park to BBQ chicken to shrimp scampi. Unfortunately the people working the counter just don't pay attention. The last THREE times I went there they burned our slices. The last 2 times I kept warning the kid that my slices were in there too long. We'll once he took them out they were definitely burnt. When I mentioned it they were happy to place another slicein the oven for me but then took the burned slices and placed them back on the tray for resale. Another time we went in there with a party of 6 and sat at a table for waitress service. We all ordered at the same time but everything came out at different times. Especially hard when half of our table were kids. Plus my son ordered pizza and then the waitress came back 10 mins later to tell us there was none of that type left. Ok - we ordered another slice. I have had enough of this poor service. I had ordered 1 large pizza and some fries for the side. I had asked how long till it would arrive, they said about 30 minutes as I only live 5 minutes away. After 45 minutes passed I called and they still had it in oven. I called again after 15 minutes and I was given the same response so I cancelled the order. Didn't get a pic because I was very hungry and couldn't help diving into this cheesy heaven of a sammach. I just had the most UNPROFESSIONAL and immature experience with the staff. I made a mistake by calling the wrong location and putting in an order. I called on my way home from work using Siri since I couldn't exactly type it in driving and quickly glanced at the main pics to see it looked exactly the same. I realized 15 minutes later after my mother walked into our usual Franks location for pick up I had made a mistake. She called back this location as a courtesy hoping they still hadn't prepared it/the dish wouldn't just be sitting there for hours unclaimed. The girl said okay and they hung up. A few minutes later, I assume the man who I originally spoke with had the nerve to call my mother back (I guess he hit redial which is kind of creepy since we left no number). He stated he had special prepared the dish which wasn't even on the menu (it was bc I altered my order to a similar dish they had bc their menu is different), then he goes "Well just so you know that was a 30$ dish wasted!!!!!". Pizza was very disappointing. Crust was super hard and cracked. Flavor was just not good . In addition they charge you$1 to use your credit card. What a joke. Let me tell you about my experience: I went in and put my stuff near a table and went up to the counter to order my pizza like you do at every other pizza place in NJ. The kid behind the counter asked me if it was for here or to go? I told him here. As I was about to get my pizza, a guy I can only assume was "Frank" came storming out of the back and informed me if I wanted to use his table, I would have to use his waitress (who was nowhere to be found when I arrived). When I told him I didn't know, he sarcastically asked me if I went to Applebees and ordered directly from their kitchen? He then told me he would let it go "this time." Hey Frank!! Guess what? This is the first and ONLY time I'll ever eat in your restaurant!!! In an economy where restaurants are hurting for business and in a state where there are pizza places everywhere, I think you should learn to treat your customers better. The food may be decent but the customer service isn't even close to civil. There's too much competition in this category for me to come back to Frank's. Placed a takeout order for wings, pizza, an arugula salad, and a slice of pecan pie. I get there to pick it up, and there's a pizza box and a paper bag with the rest. I get home. The salad is depressingly small for $9 (gonna try to post a pic). For comparison, a place I work a couple times a week orders from Biaggios in Fair Lawn. Their salads are always bursting out of the container. The wings had very little flavor, and they didn't even give me the pie ($6). I live a couple miles from Frank's so I decided to drive back to get it. They don't have pecan pie (Why is it on the menu, and why did they accept the order and charge me for it!!!???). They ask if I want something else. Okay, I ask for the peanut butter and mascarpone pie. He walks away for a bit and comes back to tell me they don't have that either. They list off a couple things they do have so I decide on cannoli. An older man that works there has noticed my predicament likely based on my body language. He informs me that they are giving me an extra one, which apparently meant I was getting two. So a small cannoli is $4. Not exactly going above and beyond for someone that drove back from their house at rush hour. Anyway, so that's a bad enough experience for me to scratch Frank's off the list. Their takeout menu is already in the trash. I never had pizza from here but when I had it back at the house, my first thoughts were "man this is pretty good!" I have eaten pizza many places before but this was different. Delivery is super slow, but the buffalo chicken pizza is worth it. I've ordered from Franks twice now, and both tines delivery took just over two hours. I called at the hour and a half mark both times and was assured the delivery was out, but it still took another half hour and its only a 15 minute drive. Both times the food arrived lukewarm as well. We walked into an uncrowded pizza place on a Sunday, we looked at the menu. I got mussels, yes mussels at a pizza parlor, for an appetizer, and pizza for the main meal. I ended up getting the pizza first and took a bite of the best pizza I have ever had. It was so good. I want another piece, but I am in a hurry, after that we got our muscles and brocoli. I ate most of the misled, but they were filling. They were so good in the marinara. Then I ate the brocoli. I figured out the mysterious sauce was garlic sauce. They were very good after I got some salt on it. In all franks pizza has the best pizza I have ever had, and also good mussels and brocoli. I placed an over for $145 at franks through door dash the order showed up and 4 dinners were missing. I called the store to let them know and they were less then accommodating. I asked to speak to a manager three times and the person who answered the phone told me that the manager was busy. I have worked in the service industry for 15+ years and this type of customer service is unacceptable. I will never eat from this place again and be sure to let anyone who asks know. Still an hour after and haven't received the rest of the food. Had pizzen taken out at a friend's son's birthfay party and all were amazing. There was a selection of pies ordered and the plain and buffalo chicken were amazing and super filling. Other peopel tried and loved the white pizza. Years ago I used to frequent the wine bar next door and Frank's would 'deliver'. The only reason it got two stars is because the wait staff and all are generally nice when we've dined in, but this review is really for service though. We ordered food tonight for delivery - $65 worth. When an hour passed and it didn't come, I called and the girl at the counter said it had gone out with the delivery already and should be there soon. Fast forward 45 minutes later and it showed up, cold, sloppy, dripping, and the quality was worse than we've ever had it! The calamari was cold and clumped together, the pizza looks like it was sliding all over the car and leaking out the bags and boxes, and everything except one soup was COLD. Horrible and considering we didn't just order a pizza, you'd think more thought or care would be put into a bigger order. We will be ordering elsewhere. read more

I have lived locally for years and have always come to Frank's for a while this was my favorite place... I am not a person to complain but here goes my rant... my bf and myself came in for dinner and waited about 15 minutes for even to acknowledge that we were there. We moved our table because the table we sat down at was filthy we said something about the table just in case someone else sat there, nothing was done. I ordered a cheese calzone and my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich with a side of fries. We wait over a half hour for our food, nothing was said to us no one apologized, I can see the frustration of the waitress in the background she felt bad that I did no. My boyfriend's food came out before mine, thinking mine would be close behind nope it was another 20 minutes. At this point I am starving. My calzone was cold, the cheese was not melted and the inside dough was raw. At this point I ate the whole plate of fries, tried to eat the calzone and just couldnt... took it home because I hate wasting any food to see if maybe I can salvage it. Did not say anything why because no one seemed to care while we were there and what wait another forty minutes for food. It was not worth my time.
