    Burger and Onion rings

Very good service. I was visiting from out of town and had this place recommended by a local. Jerry and the staff were very accommodating, and the atmosphere was great. The food was excellent--I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great burger!

Today I had a chili burger the patty was hand formed not frozen but fresh nice and thick and seasoned perfectly the bun toasted . The chili on the burger was fantastic making a tasty but messy burger! PS Ask for a fork and knife if you order a chili burger! Had fresh lemon for ice tea always a nice touch ! Service was wonderful friendly and helpful. Cashier was very informative. Waitress was very good sweet young lady was very helpful. Ambiance clean organized. Very much a local sports bar feel. What they could improve. Soap in restroom . Sadly was out. Onion rings batter was not a fan seams T to hold the grease in . Not a fan of little packet of ketchup. Like paper cups and pump or bottles. Would have gotten 5 stars if onion rings were better. New place I recommend you give them a chance .

For lunch, we decided to check out Franky-G's on W.W. White Road. To kick things off, we ordered some crispy fried mushrooms smothered in creamy gravy. I opted for the signature Franky's burger paired with crispy tater tots. The meat was perfectly seasoned, a bit messy, but oh so delicious. My sister went with the Bacon burger and a side of golden fries. To wash it all down, we both enjoyed ice-cold Dr Pepper.

Mango habanero and spicy bbq wings .

Frankie g's is a hidden jewel in the heart of WW White. They provide the greatest service and give you that neighborhood family vibe. The wings are outstanding and pair perfectly with the Frankie g's special if you bring company. The beer is always ice cold and always on point ! Check it out , you won't be disappointed!

Avacado burger was really good! Got it with jalapenos and added a great touch. This is my 2nd time coming and I will definitely be coming back. Price is higher than usual but burgers are worth it.

When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. Two of us were dining and we ordered with the intention of getting the one dollar wing special and adding fries and alcoholic beverages. Since payment is done through the handheld device, it wasn't until I received the text with my receipt that I saw the breakdown of the bill but I'm definitely blaming myself for not asking why my total was more than expected before I paid. Upon seeing the receipt, I asked the server why she had rung the food as two combos instead of the dollar wing special with fries, drinks and dips added and she informed me that the wing special was for only one flavor and said maybe she should've asked me beforehand. Hearing that was beyond disappointing. We had asked about the special and even ordered the beer that was on special. It was poor service to not have been informed before or during ordering that I would not be getting the advertised deal of the day.

We did not expect it to be within the old neighborhood of San Antonio, nor on the corner of a gas station. But as we got out, I started to understand why this place was truly loved. They have discounts for veterans, students, and a couple more groups of people I can't remember off the top of my head. They aim to serve their community within the area, offering multiple specials, and opportunities to make their food affordable. It's cheap, sure, but is it worth the wait? I'd say so. We may not have gotten our food under 30 minutes, but by god was it fresh. The lemonade was sweet and representative of a family reunion cook out. If the quality of what they served wasn't indicative of the amount of people that parked and walked up to order some food, it would be my order of catfish nuggets with their sauce, fries, and their large lemonade. They serve catfish, tilapia, and chicken as you'd expect. You can get poppers (also great) and multiple sides, but I say all of this with praise that with your chicken, your fish - it comes with fries. Best part about waiting was observing the community and watching FIFA. Just be sure you pay attention to the area. Highly recommend, though be decent unless provoked, and watch out for the unsavory types looking at your cars. We had one rando walk out and then walk back to their car after doing so to ours... overall, very interesting, and worth their prices. Staff was friendly, and the food was delicious.

That's how I ended up trying Anthony Fish & Chicken, and honestly it turned out better than expected. The restaurant is located on the east side of San Antonio, which happens to be the area I grew up in. Some people who aren't familiar with the area might consider it a little rough, but in my experience those neighborhoods often have some of the best food in the city. I called in my order and was quoted about 25 minutes. It took a little longer than that, but it wasn't a problem. When I pulled up there were a grip of cars waiting for food, so clearly the place stays busy. One thing to know if it's your first time: if you don't call ahead, you order at the window. I accidentally tried going inside at first and was told they were serving through the window only, which was fair enough. I ordered the 15-piece lemon pepper chicken, which came with fries and two slices of bread. We also grabbed steak nachos at the last minute, and those didn't even make it home because they got demolished in the car. They were loaded with toppings and I'm pretty sure they used Doritos for the chips, which added extra flavor. The chicken itself was excellent. Crispy, fresh, and clearly made to order. The legs and thighs were seasoned well and the portion size was generous. A 15-piece could easily feed a small family of three or four. Between the nachos and a couple sides we made at home, it actually ended up feeding five people comfortably. The crinkle cut fries were also solid and had a nice seasoning on them, and the hot sauce they give with the chicken paired really well. When I arrived there were a grip of cars waiting, and after trying the food I understand why. Compared to my number one fried chicken spot, Chatman's Chicken, this place honestly holds its own. The chicken here is crispy, fresh, and flavorful all the way through. Another thing I appreciated was the value. I've seen places around San Antonio charging close to $20 for a simple three-piece meal, and the food doesn't even come close to this quality. Here the portions and price felt much more reasonable. Anthony's definitely has something going on. They have a solid menu with plenty of combos and options for a good price. Next time I'll probably try the wings because they looked great coming out of the kitchen. Overall this spot definitely satisfied my fried chicken craving. I'll be back again.

We assumed that meant it's like a bar and grill, not just a bar that happens to have a unassociated food window/kitchen at the back. We planned our first ever visit here after family day at the art museum, but the bar staff asked my husband and son to leave while I was trying to find parking (the lot next to the bar is privately owned and charges $19 for 4 hours). That isn't mentioned on their Google page or Facebook page, and on their Instagram, it isn't clear that it is 21+ all the time as it is written right after "late night." I went in on my own to order wings to go. The menu is not written anywhere, and isn't on the website (which would also be a convenient place to mention that anyone under 21 is not allowed on property), so the moved slowly as no one could figure out what they wanted until they reached the only ordering kiosk at the window. Maybe their flavors change frequently? A chalkboard or something would be nice. The wings were very reasonably priced and didn't take overly long. We took them up the road to someplace with picnic tables to eat--only to discover that one of the extra sauces was missing and another was wrong. It would also be helpful if they labeled the different flavors. Maybe it was an off night for the wings, but we didn't get the hype. I think this restaurant is suffering from being too successful too quickly and will hopefully find a way to scale up to accommodate its popularity. Maybe somewhere with menus and access for families. I would try it again at that point, but I can't see going through the inconvenience for their food until then.

That's a true tip - fellow Yelper's have said the line is out the door, get there early. Thursday mornings is a slower day. The dining area was already full.
