Then, walk into the laundromat and there's a bank counter to the left of the washers... or there's a front counter at the street corner of Garey and Orange. I'd been driving a long distance to a cleaners I used when I first moved to Southern California; until two years ago, I worked near this cleaners and continued going there even after my office moved to Glendale (I live in Chino Hills) I started riding Metrolink, and I would see Franz Cleaners on my way to the Pomona North station; one day, I decided to try them on my way home... I'm glad I did! Their service is fast and friendly; my clothes look great, and I can conveniently drop them off on my way home and pick them up the next day. I like the drive-up, which allows me to park right at the front - also very convenient! And, there's a laundromat on site, so I can bring my king-size comforter to wash (many of the laundromats in the area are not the nicest) I highly recommend Franz Cleaners for all your clothing care needs! read more

I will start this by saying, I chose this cleaners because they were here when I was a child over 30 years ago and they were good at what they did and their customer service as well as their cleaning service were stellar. With that being said, I had a custom chiffon gown with bling sewn in that could not be detached that needed to be cleaned the same day. The seamstress wasn't done with the alterations and delivered the dress on the 18th after closing. So, I went in at 7:15 a.m. on the 19th. My step son's wedding was the 20th out of town. We had to get to the hotel... I go in with my 16 year old and I let the woman behind the counter know that I had an emergency. I took off my sunglasses, made eye contact and was very nice on purpose because it was a potentially impossible task. I needed the dress by 1/1:30 the latest. Long story short, the woman behind the counter was so rude that my son was confused because of how I approached her. When someone comes in your place of business prepared to spend major money because you're the best and you crap on them, it's not okay. She just wasn't rude once, she was rude with just about every exchange with me. I say just about because I was in my feelings but in talking to my son, she was rude the entire time. I gave 2 stars instead of one because when I went to pick up the dress another lady was there who went out of her way to help me. (I was trying to carry the gown while using my cane. That's why I had my son there...) She even opened the door for me. Customer service goes a long with me, especially when I had to pay $35. for the service. I was prepared for a crazier price than that but it was still steep for a gown that I only wore for a couple of hours. At this point, I need to acquaint myself with other cleaners in the area. I can't see myself going back to them. When you open your doors at 7 and you have a customer come in at 7:15, chances are good that it's an emergency, especially when you have a sign that says in by 10 out by 4. If it wasn't I could have done exactly that. read more

I have used them in the past but never wrote a review. I recently used them to dry clean my tuxedo for my wedding. They were so nice and friendly and when I asked how quickly they could get it done they told me they would have it ready by the following day. Granted it was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon also. Their prices are also fairly reasonable. I was expecting to pay a lot more than about $20 for my tuxedo, vest and dress shirt. read more

This place is right around the corner from my house so I couldn't beat the convenient location. The employees are beyond friendly and very accommodating. THIEVES. This company does not deserve a single star! I dropped off expensive pieces of clothing to be picked up the following day. Upon arrival, I was told that my garments were "accidentally" taken home. Gail, an employee of Frantz explained that the manager took the clothes and could not promise me when they would be returned. I demanded that they bring my clothes back as promised since it should have NEVER left their facility. After a series of questions as to WHY this happened, I did not receive an apology, nor was her accommodation suitable for the action (theft) that was committed. This gives me the impression that their employees STEAL their customer's clothing, possibly wears them, and returns them before pick up. I highly suggest that you do NOT bring your belongings to this dry cleaner unless you want to see someone else wearing your things. read more

Upon arrival the clerk "GALE" told us that the items were "accidently take home by the manager" and that they would have them done by the morning. no discount or effort to contact the customer at all! honestly I have never written a review in my life, until now. I'm new in town. I had my last dry cleaner for 12 years. Never had a problem. I introduced myself to the owner at Frantz, but she never remembered me. Service was always indifferent, unorganized, and the facility is dirty. On my sixth visit to Frantz, they lost my clothes, interrogated and accused me, saying maybe my husband picked it up. I had a ticket in my hand for four items. They asked me to describe them. I could only remember two blue shirts. I asked about a room in the back where other clothes were hanging but they said it wouldn't be there. The owner pawned me off on another employee, who went through piles of tickets, asking how I paid, more interrogation, no looking for clothes, so I started going through the racks myself. I spent 45 minutes there before I finally left. She said they technically have 30 days to find my clothes. A week later they called to say they found them. I went to pick up the items. They were in that back room that they said they wouldn't be! No apology. Asked me to pay full price. I said, "I can't believe that after all you put me through, you are asking me to pay full price." She called the owner asking if I should get a 10% discount! 10%! Ultimately, she said no charge. Still no apology. I haven't been back since. I now drive farther to La Verne, where the owner knows my name, has a clean facility and does everything on computer. read more

Hope you guys like bad reviews.. been a customer for years and was pretty satisfied with the clothes that they would return. I took them a pair a jeans to clean up, when I went to pick them up, there was a bunch of holes and tears along the side of both legs.. I asked what happened and they said that I had spilled battery acid on them! What?? Firstly, the guy that worked on my jeans didn't let anyone know that they came out looking like that to cover his ass. I don't work with batteries, and I never use $68 jeans to work! I talked to the manager over the phone and she said to bring an MSRP of the jeans, thinking that she was going to help me through this she said, "I talked to my husband and he said that there is nothing we can do for you!" It wasn't ever her decision to even try to help me out. They would rather be ignorantly right than to keep a longtime customer happy. Very disappointed! Will also let family and friends know not to go there! And seeing that other customers had similar issues I should've known better. read more

They have to be the worst dry cleaners ever. These people are really cheap and try to cut costs all of the time. About 95% of the clothes that are supposed to be dry cleaned are thrown in washing machines in the back of the location. So your clothes are being washed in the laundromat section with the public. By the way, if you are a bride and want your wedding dress cleaned... it gets thrown in a washing machine just like the rest of the clothes that are not supposed to be washed. I knew someone who worked there, and there were several brides that were told that their dresses came up missing. When really the owners threw it in the public laundromat and forgot about it. So someone came along and stole it. This is why alot of their employees quit. read more

Wow, Iam extremely surprised a place that has been in business so long,had such bad service? prior to leaving my "review" I read some of the others and I agree. I dropped off long sleeve work shirts and dress pants expecting them to be cleaned properly, what I got back was below average cleaning on my shirts and pants and "rude" attitudes as well, Iam not sure whether the lady there was flustered, Confused or Having a bad day??? but when I brought up some issues on (3) of the shirts, Broken buttons and a "strange" long crease down the front of one of the shirts, It wasnt " Iam sorry I apologize let me make this right" it was "oh thats normal" and that button was broken before, Uhh no lady it wasnt.I was shocked at the treatment I received and this was my first and last time there!!!! No alternate means to rectify the issue, nothing at all? I will NEVER visit or recommend this place again...Maybe they have forgotten there customer service skills or simply dont care, Youve been in business that long and this is how you act with a new customer, Maybe its time to close down and retire that place or at least people who work there...Good riddance read more
