During my research, I found his rates are in line and actually a bit lower than other physicians in the area, but this is not the deciding factor in choosing Accents. I viewed numerous before and after photos of procedures done by Doctor Berkowitz and knew he was the doctor for me. All of my procedures were done by Doctor Berkowitz personally. During visits, staff are in attendance but Doctor Berkowitz does all the work. I can't count all of the compliments I continue to receive. After several tests I was informed that I had dry eye which I already knew. He informed me that they have a light therapy treatment that helps with this condition. I did my diligence and researched this and it had good results. Unfortunately these treatments run around 900.00. I must have an "S" tattooed on my forehead for sucker. This was over a month ago. I have had only 2 light therapy treatments. (He said 7-8). I also had 1 eye heat treatment. I was scheduled for one on 10/11. However I was called on that date to cancel due to a part needed that was due the end of that week. Was told she would call me when it came in to reschedule. NO call. I called last week to check and was told someone would call be back yesterday or today. NO call! I have already paid 425.00 and I don't feel I have received my adequate care. I should've just gone to an opthamolagist to begin with. I feel I should receive a partial credit and let it go at that. I'm not at all happy with Shelby Eye Care.

I was told I had to pay for the exam to come back in to have my glasses adjusted to the right lens and I had to pay for the adjustments. They didn't do it right the first time and I'm suppose to pay for their mistake. Don't go there. I spent $800 on 2 pair of glasses and this is how they treat their customers when they mess up. They're not even worth one star.
