DO NOT COME HERE!!!! The store owner is a complete bit$& and doesn't know how to treat its customers. I purchased two large bottles (not cheap - paid around $300) of shampoo and conditioner. When I had purchased it, the shampoo was out of stock and I was told it would be in within the next day or two. I called two days later to follow up and was informed that it wouldn't be coming in for another two weeks. I ended up ordering from my old Aveda salon and they were happy to overnight the shampoo and conditioner conditioner for me. So I went back to this salon to return the shampoo that I never received and the bottle of conditioner. The owner proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get a refund and was completely out of line and rude. She basically told me I was having a fit and threatened to call the cops on me and told me to leave her store with no refund. I told her I shopped at her store a lot and wouldn't be coming back and she told me I wasn't special, etc. This woman does not know how to run a business and treat customers. I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone considering this salon bring their business somewhere else because this woman is not deserving of it. read more

I've been going to the salon for many years, not only is Courtney amazing at what she does, I love the salons location and the wow factors they have that other salons don't. Excellent service from start to finish. Obviously it's a great salon because they have stylist who have been there for many years, you don't see that very often. read more

TERRIBLE! Zero customer service, and just overall unprofessional and rude! We called to book for our wedding day, and wanted to give them 3 credit cards to pay for the 3 groups, simple right? NOPE not for them! The manager got on the phone and said since we have a problem with this then they are not interested in accommodating us, then hung up on me! I feel like the reviews on this salon are out of date. I have gone twice now and both times have been very satisfied with my hair. A regular cut includes a nice scalp massage which is enough of a reason to go back. I am a huge fan of this salon especially with how friendly everyone is that works there. read more

The stylists at Fratelli treat their clients like family, perhaps because they are one big family within their Salon environment & outside of it as well. The caring & concern they have for each other is a lovely thing to witness first hand. They say location is everything, Fratellis Salon is located in a fabulous area in Coeur d'Alene. The view, the park, the windows, the people, the fresh air off the lake. This location has it all, including a restaurant right next door if you desire a snack, meal or beverage refreshment while you are being pampered in luxury from head to toe. I just moved to town and was stoked to find an Aveda salon in CdA. I have been going to Aveda salons for years and have come to expect amazing results! On that note, I was very disappointed with my visit here. I came in for a cut and highlights. The cut was fine- no complaints. The highlights came out orange. My specific instructions were to make it look natural, sunkissed. I came back to have them fixed and they said that the only way to fix them was to lighten even more. I reluctantly agreed and now my hair is FRIED. It lost all of its body and feels like straw. I am so devastated...The girls were really nice so I feel bad for writing this review but it was just not the Aveda experience I have come to trust. Guess I'll be going to Spokane next time. read more

I went here for the first time recently to get a haircut. Because I'm a little jaded when it come to hair salons, I did my homework and brought pictures of the style I wanted. I was set up with a "Master Stylist", so naturally, I had high hopes. After showing the pictures and explaining what I wanted to the stylist, she nodded and seemed to understand my concept. During the haircut, I did not see her focusing on her work as much as I'd expect from a "Master Stylist". I felt as though she was overly confident or perhaps not taking her craft as seriously as she should. The haircut was completed rather promptly because of this; I expected it to take longer since I was getting bangs and fresh layers. The haircut she gave me does not resemble the picture I showed her, which makes me really upset because I believed in her ability to envision it and execute it to the best of her ability. My layers are not well blended and are choppy in some spots; they also don't match (half of my hair's layers look different from the other half). The bangs are quite difficult to style--the opposite of what I wanted. I paid more for this haircut than it was worth. This salon is very comfortable and welcoming but I will probably not return. read more

OMG what an aweful place. The first girl cut my bangs so short that I had to paste them down so they didn't stick straight out. I made a second appt I said I wanted to try somebody else and even so when I arrived they had given me the same girl. She argued with me about everything til I told her to forget it I would get somebody else. They comped me another haircut, but when I came and started saying I didn't want my bangs cut too short, the owner came and kicked me out and said I was being abusive and said I was yelling. She called the police and everything. Just a friendly warning out there, don't go there! It's not worth the over pricing and... they seem rude and really really nuts to me. read more

Sara at Fratelli's did a great job on my hair. I have a really sensitive head and she was very gentle using a wet brush to detangle. The layers and style she gave me turned out even better than I asked. The salon is very upscale and nice. The location is in the heart of Coeur d' alene with lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby.They even gave me a complimentary paraffin dip for my hands which made them so silky and smooth. I have clients that go to Courtney and some of the other stylists at Fratelli's and love it, I highly recommend Fratelli's! read more

What can I say about the master stylist Sara, at fratelli? She's the stylist that equates to the absolute amazingness of inventions such as the wheel, penicillin, or the iPhone. Her ability with hair is the progress that all great inventions have given us. After leaving the salon companies were calling me to put patents on what Sara did (or so it felt:) ) It's new , it's fresh , it's invention! The compliments in the past 48 hours have been overwhelming. If you want to reinvent yourself in an incredibly positive way then you must get in to Sara ASAP . Heed the warning though ! Do not be surprised if she's booked weeks out, for progress attracts company . She is also sweet and insanely considerate . You will never feel better when you walk out of a salon after experiencing Sara's superior talents. Go. Feel amazing ! You deserve it ! read more

I was also stoked to find an Aveda Salon here as well. While, I am overall happy with my stylist when she does my (Low-Lights) the color comes out well & lasts.. I HAVE noticed some inconsistency as far as what I have come to love & the REASON Aveda is what it is. EXAMPLE- Some times my- Master Stylist" will give me a nice hair/scalp massage, the paraffin wax, etc... Everything Aveda consistently does elsewhere right? Well in Cda., SOMETIMES it's done?? I have been a loyal customer & gone back several times; however recently noticed this. Last visit I paid well over 100$ & did not get either? As if I don't know what to expect right? I really feel bad because I pay a lot of money & really don't think I should have to remind my stylist about these small (yet special) things I have come to know about Aveda! Just moved to the area and was super nervous about finding a new stylist...not to mention I ask for some unconventional, artsy/radical cuts, and decided to make an appointment with Fratelli's. I love anything Aveda, so was happy to see that C'da had an Aveda salon. I was in a desperate way for a big change to my hair. I've been seeing the same stylist for a couple of years in Missoula Montana, and was pretty sure he was as good as it gets, but upon my abrupt decision to get a fairly dramatic style change, and with whomever had an opening, I was psyched to be assigned to Lauren (hope I'm spelling this right, if not--sorry, Lauren!) who did an absolutely phenomenal job! She was patient, kind, attentive, confident, and was willing to step out of her comfort level with my edgy requests. I have since been back to change the cut as my imagination developed around the style I ultimately desired, and yet again, while pressured and booked solid, Lauren pulled off yet another AWESOME cutting edge style. I LOVE my cut, and my only worry now is if she can do it again. I've gotten numerous comments on the style and can't wait to see her again. Thank you! Only reason I can find to give the salon 4 out 5 stars is that not everyone there seems to be hip to how to deal out 5 star service. A bit of uncomfortable shuffling around at the desk when I "checked in" and the the lack of letting me know there are drinks available upon request would have made it a 5 star review. I don't think I can say enough bad things about this salon. The shampoo bowls had two temperatures; frigid, and scalding. I believe I saw Courtney H, but I'm not sure if I remember her name correctly. She was rude, condescending, insulting, and painfully closed minded. I asked for a trim all over, including my bangs. She spent ten minutes "trimming" my hair, then the next ten telling me I should've gotten layers and That I would "look like a two year old cut my bangs" when I told her I wanted them shorter. Then she cut a huge chunk out of my hair I'd told her I was trying to grow out. I should've walked out, but I was just so shocked. I specifically asked her not to flat iron my hair, but she insisted that was the only way she could check to make sure the cut was even. It isn't even. I walked out of there with more split ends than I had when I arrived. I can't believe I spent $50 on twenty five minutes of being insulted by someone who can't cut in a straight line, or keep unprovoked put downs to themselves. I found the receptionists to be wildly unprofessional, and unhelpful as well. If I could, I would rate this with no stars. read more

My husband and I are on Week 7 of a 12 week motor coach road trip and really need some excellent hair salon assistance! Hubby has had his hair cut by the same person at home for 15+ years and I haven't had anyone, but my hair technican at home, touch my color for 10+ years! So, it was with great reluctance that I made appointments at this Salon - knowing nothing about them! What a complete and delightful surprise! Husband's hair cut is wonderful and he is very happy. I am a blonde and my hair color is very unusual and Sarah (our hair technician) not only consulted my notes from my hair dresser at home but also with 2 other gals in her salon. I walked out of the Salon wth my hair color looking amazing! If anyone needs hair color and/or a cut - we totally recommend Sarah at this Salon. I am going back for a shampoo and blow dry and spa pedicure before we "hit the road" again! Thank you Sarah! read more
