If a customer looks unhappy for any reason, they are on their feet immediately to see if they can help. (I have been there when I am just having a "bad day" and the owner always asks if the food is good and if they can do something to make me feel better.) Meet up w friends for lunch. They love this place and I can see why. They treat you like family. I like that the soda is in cans so you know it's fresh. The water was good and cold. They brought us warm bread that was crusty and chewy just the way I like it. They brought both butter and an oil mixture. I had portabella roasted pepper and mozzarella salad w balsamic dressing. Good portion and lots of flavor. My son had chicken franchise. It had good flavor but could use lemon in the side to add more lemon flavor. It was two chicken breast and pasta (you can chose your favorite it is made in house). My friend had the Capelli in red sauce that looks good and the daughter has the ravioli with spinach on top. Because we were celebrating our birthday, they gave us chocolate mousse cake, which was phenomenal and my girlfriend loves their carrot cake. I didn't try it but she loves it. Ordered a small cheese pie (6 slices) with sausage ($5 topping). I asked for pie to be delivered which was in a timely manner...about 20 minutes. Pie was fresh, delicious and 2 slices was very filling. The total of pie was $24.44. Delivery man did not have change to give back from $30. The pizza and desserts are always good but ordered linguine with red clam sauce yesterday and was very disappointed.

I've eaten here several times before and always liked it. Today, however, the pizza I got was the sorriest excuse for pizza I've ever had. Very little cheese, too much sauce, and just plain worse than ordinary. The homemade minestrone soup was just OK, nothing exceptional. And the price for 2 slices and 1 quart of minestrone soup???? $29!! I am so disappointed in this place. If it wasn't raining, I would have returned all for a refund. Very pleasant owners, but they lost me as a customer. Too many excellent choices out there to put up with mediocre food. Could have been an off day, but I wouldn't have let those slices out the door. read more

I hate to write something negative but this just stood out that I had to. The price of their slices is insanely high, over $10 for 1 regular slice & 1 specialty slice. They charge $3.50 for a regular slice & they charged an additional $3 for the sausage & peppers on the other slice, so $6.50 for the specialty slice. I took 1 bite of each and just threw it out. No lie, it was that bad. If you are going to charge top end prices, at lease use top end ingredients and serve good pizza. The cheese was horrible on the regular slice and the the sausage & pepper had no taste. The place was clean and the staff was nice so that brings it up to 3 stars. read more

Wowwww freshly made and the service here was quick. My family loves pizza. We can eat it every single day. Since February we have now tried a total of 3 different pizza spots between Bay Shore and Islip, NY. I have to admit this is so far the best of the 3 different pizzerias. An added bonus is that Vinny is so chill mode. One thing I look for when reviewing eateries is the demeanor of the employees and owners. I purposely chat it up with staff about anything and everything. I observed customers coming in smiling and I was happy to see that. This is definitely a family friendly place with more than enough seats to eat in. Again, everyone I encountered was smiling, sociable, and welcoming. The actual pizza: Oh my word it had just the right amount of sauce, a tiny kickback of spice from the pepperoni slices, cheesy, but not too much, and the best part of the pizza is that the slice was not flimsy when picking it up. The bottom of the pizza was light golden brown. The crust had just the right amount of crunch. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture before grabbing slices. I'm not homesick for NYC pizza anymore yay. This thin crust baked deliciousness was just right with a generous spread of fresh marinara sauce, cheese, and pepperoni topping. I have always loved Fratelli's. But lately their prices are through the roof and the quality is not up to par. So expensive and was told the prices are going up! Their eggplant parm hero's were always stuffed and delicious. Now they barely have any eggplant on them, with very little cheese. Such a shame. We won't be going back. read more

The slices are very small, unmistakably really small. I ended up getting a whole pie several times and the taste was mediocre. My comparison was : 1) Difara's Ave J/E. 15th Brooklyn, 2) Little Vincent's of Huntington, and 3) Di Raimo of Huntington,4) La Casa of BayShore, 5) Gio's Pizza of East Islip. Jon and the staff at Fratelli are committed to helping people by serving them good food and doing right by the community. A group of friends pooled money to buy a meal for the ICU staff at a local hospital, where our friend's parent was being cared for. The hospital staff requested Fratelli's, so that's an endorsement already. Jon worked with us and the amount we had raised to get hot Italian food into the bellies of these essential workers, and he said he's been doing that kind of thing ever since social distancing went into place. I came to "Fratelli's Pizzeria" for a little bite to eat. Little did I know it was literally going to be little. Coming inside, the place looked nice enough. They have TV's playing in the background and a nice atmosphere inside. I was unimpressed with the staff. A group of people that can't even greet you is what you get from them. I went over their selection of slices and landed on my two favorite. Once I sat down to eat I took a closer look at my slices......a real close look. They were smaller than average and I felt for the price, they should have been bigger. Eating the meat slice I was not satisfied. It had no real flavor nor did it fill me up. The next slice the buffalo, did no better. It tasted like buffalo sauce mixed with chicken and cheese. I almost felt cheated after eating my lunch. I walked out with my head down, because the building was beautiful, but the staff and the food left much to be desired. If I was a betting man, odds are I'm not going back. Pleasantly surprised! We meant to go to a different pizza place and made a wrong turn so we decided to stop and try this spot. Thank goodness we did! We started off with a slice of cheese pizza, the crust was authentic NY and we loved it. We also got an appetizer of calamari and it was excellent. Not chewy and the sauce was spectacular. The average cost of a slice of regular pizza in New York is approximately $2.30, but at Fratelli's Pizzeria a regular slice costs $2.85. There was not nearly enough sauce on the slice (although that could just be my preference), & the dough had been stretched far too thin before being cooked. When folded, the slice was unable to support itself, & instead, it flopped down & the cheese began to slowly slide off. I thought that this may have just been an off-day for whoever was making the pizza, but after visiting again two weeks later & experiencing the same lack of quality, I've determined that the pizza at Fratelli's Pizzeria is simply not very good. read more

Pizza is mediocre as well as the establishment. They use a microwave to reheat items at the counter. Huge no no and unprofessional. What's wrong with the ovens? Only reason they got 2 stars is because the waitresses seem very nice and polite. The staff working the counter lacked professionalism and seem forced to be there. Slices looked like they were from last week. Better off going a shopping center over to La Casa. At least at La Casa they keep the place clean and have fresh slices. read more

They handle the food without properly wearing masks (below their nose, not wearing one at all until coming to talk to a customer).

I decided to give Fratelli's another chance after charging me an arm and a leg for a stuffed meat slice last time. One thing that really bothers me about this place is that most of the pies aren't under glass and they exchange money directly over the pies!!! So gross!!! They really need to fix this immediately!! Not only is it gross but it is also a health code violation. I got a buffalo slice. It was good but about 30 minutes later I got explosive diarrhea! Never again will I eat here. And to too it all off, as I was leaving, there were two regulars leaving in front of me. The owner said bye and thank you to them. As I walked past him I said "Take care" and the guy didn't even acknowledge me. Just totally ignored me because I wasn't one if his regulars!
