We ordered take out for the first time after hearing good things about Mammas Santina. We ordered for pick up online and it said 30 minutes. When we went to pick up, the whole outside was seated with tables and parking lot packed. Our food was ready and the check out was quick. We got the garlic bread, and two personal 12" brick oven pizzas. Delicious!! We would definitely order from here again and hope to sit down at the restaurant soon. read more

We decided to try their pizza, but our experience was not pleasant. The staff was unfriendly and seemed disinterested, which made us want to leave quickly. Unfortunately, this left a bad taste in our mouths. Initially, we entered through a door in the back parking lot. A waitress who was there told us we shouldn't enter that way. We were taken aback by her tone and thought we might have to leave. When we checked as we left, there was a sign indicating the proper entrance, but it was located on the right side of the entry hall, making it difficult to see when approaching from the left. I don't think the waitress needed to respond that way; they could easily improve the signage to make it more visible if it is an important concern for them. When we reached the pizza area, the person taking our orders was also quite curt in answering our questions. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations either. I tried the chicken and mushroom pizza, but the chicken was overcooked and had an unpleasant odor. The Caesar salad pizza was just okay. Went on a Friday night to meet up with some college friends. It was a reunion 25 years in the making. Parking is a bit difficult so make sure you leave enough time to look for a spot. There is parking next door but the restaurant was so crowded all the spots were gone. We ordered the margarita pizza and eggplant parm and it was all really good. 4 stars because the food is great. The service is good and staff are friendly. However this is a disconnect between what's portrayed online. We wanted to order for pick up the pasta night. It's hard for us to get out as we are new parents to multiples. We called to double check if we can order pasta night for pick up, the hostess said I think so. So we said can you double check. She did and said yes we can. So we hung up and spent 15 minutes getting our orders only to call back and told we can't. I explained we called before and were told we can. Nowhere online does it say it's for dine in only. Maybe it should be stated on the menu that it's for dine in only so time isn't wasted. It's disappointing because for various reasons there are that people can't dine in. Been here many times for sit down dinner as well as for take out. Everything is fantastic. Yesterday my husband had the lentil soup, which was delicious, and I had the grilled chicken with broccoli rabe, which was also delicious. The portions are huge. The picture posted is of my dish, and I had eaten a portion before taking the pic! Our server was very attentive and friendly. As for takeout, we absolutely love their sausage, garlic, and broccoli rabe pizza. I only have 2 minor issues. The first is that the tables are very close together. I was seated on the outside, and I got bumped a few times by some of the servers so I had to squeeze in. The second is that under our table there were crayons and other debris, which I think it should've been cleaned up before we were seated. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Went for the chicken specials night. Not too sure what's so special about it though. Same price as the menu and the only addition is a cannoli and coffee. Not impressed with that so far. Hostess was great. Waitress not so much, or just not a good night for her. Food tasted good enough but portions were small for the price on this specials menu. My husband had the eggplant rollatini. Both entrée's come with either a side salad or pasta. My only issue is nothing is labeled for take out. Maybe it's just me, but.... Amazing place. The owners have done of phenomenal job since the renovations a few years ago. The food has become exponentially better but the service js great! Come inside with your significant other and be sure to have a drink at the bar before you dinner. Make sure Tim is bartending! Overall disappointed with the pizza which was half veggies half Brooklyn ( which I have ordered in the past this pizza was soggy like it sat awhile before it was delivered & the Rigatoni with meat sauce was sub par - hardly no chopped meat a lot of pasta sauce & way too much mozzarella minimal ricotta cheese . Everything here is phenomenal from their pizza to their pasta and dishes. I was miserable when they were closed but their renovation is amazing and beautiful! I can't wait to drop in and sit at the bar for drinks and apps. We always get the chicken parm and francese. I just tried the Rigantoni Giana and it was fantastic! Every time I call I end up getting the same guy on the phone who acts like you're bothering him by placing an order. 1st I asked for a white slice and if the could add broccoli or spinach to it, nope can't handle that meanwhile it's been done for me before. Months later I call back with a large order again being rushed! Can I have a salad with lettuce tomato cucumber onion and grilled chicken? Nope, This isn't a build your own salad place. Can I speak to a manager. No manager gets on the phone. We're just too busy. Too busy for lettuce tomato and cucumber....are you kidding?!?! Since moving to the neighborhood back in 2014 this quickly became our pizza place. As is somewhat common, Friday nights has always been pizza and movie night at our house and Mamma Santina was always on the menu, but I've noticed some concerning changes since their re open and expansion of their restaurant. Often I will call and the phone will ring out and never get answered which means I settle for some second rate pizza elsewhere. Whoever has been cutting their pizza has been doing an awful job. Slow TF down. The size differential in slices is comical. What's most concerning is the quality and consistency of the pizza. Some nights, it's a perfect pie the next week it's a floppy, soft mess. I'll continue to provide patronage here, but after last night, this is becoming concerning enough for me to leave a 3.5 review on what was once my families favorite establishment. read more

I opened the container no tomatoes which I paid extra for, there was a tiny amount of garlic and basil almost no oil mostly water on the bottom mixed with a little oil. Bread with no butter.
