We ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad to share and the Sardo Special pizza. Both were very good but we didn't realize the Sardo pizza did not come with sauce. The waiter was able to bring some to our table after we inquired. The restaurant is a bit small, but we had our pick of tables. If I could give no stars I would. I went for lunch was asked if the pizza was to go and if I wanted it hot. I said yes. The pizza went into the oven for literally 3 minutes. I get home and the pizza is ice cold and cheese wasn't even melted. I called back to ask why should I get asked if I want it hot if it's not hot. The girl on the phone said sorry. I was like that all you have to say. She said what else do you want me to say. I asked to speak to a manager and he gets on the phone and said what do you want me to do to make it better. I was like why get it hot when I am heating it up in the toaster. He told me that he hopes the worst thing that happens to me is that I have cold pizza today. I WILL never set foot in there again. We ordered a round cheese pie for pickup Friday night. From the person that took my order to the people that helped me when I picked up, the staff is friendly and helpful. The place looks great and is very clean, all the food in the glass case looks fantastic we can't wait to try some other items. Last visit we had the sardo special pie and a couple of us don't eat onions and peppers so they were nice enough to put them on the side so those of us that like them didn't have to miss out. The family and I absolutely love pizza, and we have been getting pizza in Huntington (DiRaimo's) and Melville (Victor's and Mario's), as the local places in Greenlawn we have not been happy with - not the same since Jimmy's closed years ago! Seeing so many glowing reviews for Sardo's, we were optimistic to have a go-to place closer. Well, either the reviews were wrong, or we caught them on a real off night!! However, an off night could explain giving out burnt garlic knots (see pic), though that is pretty inexcusable since you would think they would see it was burnt, and not give it out. The main point though is he pizza overall was just plain not good for a number of reasons, including flavorless, watery sauce, so that makes us think it was more than just an off night. I would give them the lowest rating, 1 star, except to be fair my daughter thought the gluten free pizza she had was fairly good, so I want to be fair. read more

Finally! Been waiting for a consistent pizza fabbrica! I stopped going out and started making my own until I found this great pizzeria. You can tell all of the ingredients are high quality and the crust is like floating to Heaven with each crispy chewy bite. Been here a couple of times on their busiest nites and still consistently delish! This place is worth the drive from any origin on Long Island. I'm happy I got to try this new establishment being a pizza connoisseur Raised in queens I know Pizza very well I ordered the Sicilian and a regular pie both were excellent I also ordered the Gorgonzola salad but that's for the girls in my family not for myself and they enjoyed it very much. I would say my pizza was definitely the best pizza in the vicinity. I think the sauce while very very tasty can use a drop more basil and oregano. Stopped here for takeout Wednesday night for a Margarita Pie. I was mesmerized by all the amazing food on display the second I walked in the door. The folks behind the counter were all super nice. Decided to have a nice cold beer while I waited. There is no bar but they have small 2 tops by the counter you can sit at if you're waiting or just grabbing a slice. There's also a large dining area for larger parties. Everything was cooked and done before I even finished my beer. The Margarita, Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap and 2 Garlic knots. All EXCELLENT! Thank you to the nice woman behind the counter for suggesting the dipping sauce for the knots! I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back again. read more

When you order online there's an option to add "extra sauce" so it seemed like the pizza already comes with sauce, but no, the pizza came delivered with zero sauce. Just toppings baked on top of pizza dough. We called about it thinking a mistake had been made but the guy insinuated we don't know how to read and laughed at us???? Terrible pizza and even worse customer service. Screw this place. read more

Very very good! We were there the other day for a slice of pizza which was great and we came back for a nice dinner. My husband had Chicken parmigiana dinner really nice taste not too sweet of marinara house salad nice and crisp . I had shrimp francese over linguine OMG! Delicious! Nice Big shrimp cooked to perfection and they give you a lot . Portions were big and oh! Can't forget to mention the bread that was hot and yummy. The staff I'm assuming all family related some how lol which is great and they all are very nice and attentive. It's a pizzeria restaurant very busy and everyone gets great when they walk in I appreciate that it makes you feel welcomed. We can't wait to bring our friends there to have a fun dinner. Go check it out. I hear they have a homemade sangria everyone raves about I don't drink sangria but I might give it a try next time. Thanks to staff it was a pleasurable dinner.
