The pizza is so delicious, I wish that they had this in Georgia, but nope not even close. I could eat from there every single day only fresh ingredients used here. Here we go, Here is a little hidden gem in Bayshore on Maple Avenue. Not matter what time of day you come to this pizzeria its busy. The customer service is and was outstanding. Location is in Bayshore on Maple Avenue under the new apartment building. Its located on the same street as though you were headed to the Ferry. Great location. Walking distance from Main Street. Parking is across the street or on the side streets. You have to pay for on street parking. Overall this place is crowded no matter what time of day or night you go. As far as the food . One word delicious . I tried the Thai chili pizza . Wow amazing. Sitting is very limited but the restaurant is organized and clean. Pricing was reasonably fair. So Im originally from Brooklyn and lived some time in the Bronx and The Pizzeria is the closest ive come to tasting authentic New York style pizza. The dough, the sauce, the cheese along with the toppings...it just so delicious. Ive tried their different types and im yet to be disappointed. The calzones, the rolls the food...its just all so good. And I say this along with saying that I've only ordered delivery and my food and pizza still arrive hot and tasting delicious. Knowing that these fine folk and the fruits of their fine labor are less than a mile from my reach (unless there's some whacky Bayshore street festival in which case ...maybe TWO miles due to rerouted traffic). The outdoor seating will make you realize how much miss summer. Then you'll sit in the cozy indoors and realize summer's overrated. The staff's hospitality and good spirits will warm you right up. And all this was not enough, the food will keep you coming back. Plain and grandma and vodka slices cannot be beat ...BUT, guess what. -- for the first time in my 37 years (excluding maybe the first couple due to lack of teeth), I cleaned off a WHOLE SALAD at a restaurant (I legit think it was called "The Salad"). Wildly good. I would probably give up a pinkie toe if it would guarantee me two slices a day for life (I'd pay of course + tip). In a world where pizza can be extremely hit or miss The Pizzeria has been consistently outstanding. The variety of clever concoctions is quite impressive and thus far we haven't found any duds - even the garlic knots they somehow got just right, moist without that off putting oil squirt you often find and the balance of seasoning spot on. But I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my top two pies: the trifecta and the bruschetta. For my money they are next level and a must have every visit. Hopefully things stay this good as they seem to be expanding to more locations pretty frequently, should they stay on their game they've got loyal customers right here. They serve Balthazar Bakery (NYC) pastries for breakfast. My favorite was the sticky pecan roll until deliveries stopped due to a lack of demand for it. La Colombe cold brew and coffee are poured from the draft. They taste bolder and more flavorful than the bottled ones that I buy in the supermarket. The Pizzeria's chicken wings are one of the best deals in town: 12 for $10 every Sunday. I had the dry rub today, which was served with house-made blue cheese and buffalo sauce. Next time I will order the plain or Thai chili wings. Note: my favorite wings on the Island are the ones made at Avino's Italian Table. They taste closest to the chicken wings I ate when I was going to college Upstate. Wow ! Everything looks as delicious as the Islip establishment with the same amazing selections of pizzas, wraps , pinwheels , hero's and so much more ! It is super spotless and inviting . Everyone was very polite and attentive ! This location is a bit more upscale with a bar and a large TV. There is a sufficient amount of seating indoor and outdoor . We enjoyed eggplant parmigiana served with a lovely fresh salad and a chicken wrap . All very good ! Only issue we had was delivery was left at emergency room even though we specifically asked the delivery driver to call cell when arrived and we would have met him at entrance. Finally checked out The Pizzeria! They are opening up a few locations on the south shore and one coming soon to Babylon (woot woot). Decided to try the Bay Shore one as a sneak preview. We ordered a classic pie and it did not disappoint. Annnnd of course some knots (how can you not get some knots?) When I went in to pick up the pizza it was popping inside. Guess everyone else decided pizza was on the menu tonight. I saw in the display case they also have buffalo knots which I will have to try next time. Everything on display looked delish - will try the margherita next time as we didn't notice it on the menu. Some of the pizzas have unique names - I think the margherita here is the Bay Shore special. In any event they were super friendly and I can't wait for them to be in BV. I know I already posted a review but I needed to post another I work at Southside hospital down the block so we decided to go back to the e Pizzeria on Friday as we enjoyed it so much prior to this. My coworker and I stopped by to pick up a Bruchetta pie that we love woth two extra slices and drinks. I paid and had to leave a box on the counter because I had too much in my hands. The worker (who I think may be the owner) noticed I left the pizza box and thought I had forgotten it- he ran outside after me to make sure I didn't leave without it! I've waited to review this place after I tried it for the 2nd time. The first time we ordered a large regular pie and garlic knots. There was nothing special about either of those, so I wanted to wait and try a few of their speciality slices before I left my view. The sad part is that the pizzeria is beautiful, but the food is bland and for the most part, tasteless. I went in today, we ordered 5 different items. A pepperoni slice, which was like a deep dish style, just too much bread, and didn't taste that great. We tried their "bar pizza" which was mikes hot honey and Burrata, it was tasteless. Couldn't even tell there was mikes hot honey on it. The chicken sweet tai chili slice was 2/5, and the grandmas slice was decent. The best thing we ordered was this chicken roll, had fresh mozz, arugula and roasted peppers. The only issue with that roll is how round it is. It's not like a regular roll, so it's hard to eat, and falls apart. I really think it's their sauce, it not good. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place. read more

Stumbled upon this place with my boyfriend and so glad we did because it's amazing! They have pastries/breads from Balthazar and their pizza, both incredible! The ingredients are so fresh and they have interesting selections like Buffalo garlic knots which were delicious. Balthazar makes some of the best bread in my opinion and they are located in the city so it's nice to be able to get pastries from there on Long Island! Their hot honey slice with mini pepperoni is to die for and the aesthetic in general is beautiful! I also noticed they have a regular menu with salads, pasta dishes and more so I would love to come back and try something other than the pizza! A table next to us got a salad and pasta dish that looked incredible. There's also a beautiful bar , so whether you want something sweet, savory or a drink you have everything here! Passed by and noticed a new business in town. The interior is beautiful, and we noticed they had a bar, we had to stop in! Everyone is super friendly, the bartender was great! I had a mimosa and she made it with a different juice, loved it. We chatted for a bit, she had great energy. My husband watched the soccer game and had a beer.
