On the second attempt to reschedule, work conflicts, I was advised by Donna that they would no longer reschedule my appointment. As a new patient, I understand Dr. Bertman's decision to not take me on as a patient. (Twice I scheduled; one time I rescheduled and the second time I realized that again I would not be able to make it I contacted the office in an attempted again to reschedule, but was told that was no longer a possibility. Understandable.) However, Donna's rude delivery and tone was unnecessary and unprofessional! As she managed to answer the phone in a pleasant manner, she should have been able to state in a pleasant manner that they would no longer be able to take me on as a client instead of using the tone that she did. I consulted Dr.Patel in Aug 2022, I was not happy with the appearance of my implant and I wanted to improve it, I had an implant on tooth # 8, and his recommendation was to redo the whole process again, meaning take my implant out, and perform a bone graft after the gum healed he then would install a new implant, providing me with a better results. These procedures take time and are very costly. I decided to trust his judgment and do the procedures. He took my implant out and did a bone graft, I paid for a retainer, $300+ retainer, and they told me that they would fix it if the retainer broke during my treatment. Unfortunately, my retainer broke, I called and told them, and they said that they would get back to me, I called again because it was hurting my gum and it was my front tooth, and they ended up telling me that they couldn't replace it, I was confused and I told them they would not fix or provide me with a new one, to seek another provider because the person who made mine was no longer working with them. I was disappointed with how they dealt with this matter, I paid them for a retainer and because they did not have a person to make retainers, they told me to seek elsewhere. The second thing I needed to deal with was insurance, they submitted the wrong code and I had to go through an intense process with the insurance for them to pay for my bone graft. I went in for my implant, I paid the balance due that day before going inside, and they applied anesthesia, I was waiting and the secretary went in and told me a balance was due from the previous bone graft, I was confused and I said the insurance should cover, they said I need to pay or they could not proceed, this person already applied anesthesia and they just now telling me about a balance I had, I ended up paying around $2000k more that day. Later on, the insurance paid me after I found out it was their fault for submitting the wrong code. The third and final horrifying experience was the result of the bone graft, this surgeon permanently damaged my gum tissues leaving me looking like a monster, I am beyond traumatized by the results, I consulted two other gum specialists paying out of pocket and they told me my gum tissue was gone permanently. Dr. Patel initially said he would cover any cost to repair and offered to refund me what I paid out of pocket, I provided him with the estimate and this Dr. ghosted me, yes you read this right, ghosted me, when I called the office, they said to have a lawyer contact him. Please seek another provider, Dr. Patel ruined my smile and now I have to seek other treatments to repair the damage he caused, and on top of that, he is a liar who lacks ethical standards.

When it came time to have my surgery, 3 teeth extracted, one implant, sinus lift and bone graft, Dr. Patel and his staff helped me feel as relaxed as possible. I opted for general anesthesia because who wants to be even remotely awake for that. Dr. Patel was able to do necessary blood draw and iv placement easily which has not happened for me before. He followed up with me and he and his staff were patient and caring. My next two implants don't concern me as much as the care I received has put my mind at ease. My entire dental plan is about 24 months in total and the communication has been great. No guessing as to timing or treatment. Thank you!

By the way- they cancelled my appointment with the dentist and never let me know. I can to call and confirm it was really cancelled. I called three times to talk to someone- they kept saying they would call back and never bothered!! Find a decent provider who respects the patient. Turns out they had a new patient deal that was the same as the groupon. $49.00 for exam, x-rays and a cleaning. They had appointments available right away which was awesome. I'll be honest it's been about 5 years since I went to the dentist last, bad I know. I wasn't having any issues but I knew it was time to start regular dental care again. I was a bit leery of the $49.00 new patient deal, given the amount of time since I had been to the dentist last and knowing these places need to make money somewhere I was certain that this dentist was going to find "a lot of things that needed to be fixed" or there was going to be a lot of up selling of some type. I could NOT be happier with the service I received or the staff at this location. Not only did the Dr. Heggade tell me I had no cavities or anything that needed to be fixed but she also told me all the issues that I had with my smile could be fixed with Invisalign for about $5k. Which was fantastic considering the last time I had asked about it I was quoted roughly $32k worth of work including crowns and veneers. I was only looking to fix some crowding in my lower teeth and close some gaps left by having juvenile teeth on top. Nothing major. I think the last place wanted to replace my healthy juvenile teeth with implants which probably isn't necessary. The office is clean, parking is easy, the equipment is all very new and comfortable. The cleaning I received was top notch. She removed every single stain I had and my teeth look amazing now. They were fast, efficient, kind and gentle. I highly recommend this location and Dentist. The front desk, Ginny made sure I was comfortable at the office while waiting for my dental exam. The dental assistance Anna, she did a great job cleaning and rinsing the area of the gums and tooth's for a hour of gum cleaning. Anna explained that I would need gum deep cleaning to prevent any infections deep in the gums pockets. Dr. Strickland advise I should lay off the soda, candies, any junk foods which I will try my best to avoid for future decays of cavities and to the gums. I hope to return back for deep cleaning for the gums, since it not affordable but I hope to return soon when I am ready. Dr. Strickland explained that, it would take time to do every part of the area for cavities repair. At this time, I had a front upper tooth filling done by Dr. Strickland and I am impressed how quick the filling and tooth was look like new. I knew it will be a long journey to have all the cavities check and repair. They was professional and made me comfortable during my visit, always made sure everything is check out the tooth and gum before leaving the dental office.
