Don't waste your money and time on poor customer service and unreliable staff. On their website they proudly share a commitment to "exceptional customer service" and "providing amazing customer experiences." Also, to providing "dependable follow-through" with "dealers [that] keep their word and deliver on what they say."  However, I got the EXACT opposite of that and was mistreated as a customer.   I was told that in order to buy a car from them I needed to put down a $500 deposit to bring in inventory for a 4 Runner since they didn't have any at the dealership. So, on February 28th I put down a $500 deposit to do just that.   For nearly a month I received no follow-up communication from them. No texts, calls, or emails. Was my 4 Runner there? I didn't know. I didn't hear from them. Expecting them to "follow through" and "keep their word" I was surprised to not hear from them. When I did follow up nearly a month later, I was mistreated with awful customer service. Scott (unable to find his last name or his online profile) was confrontational, harsh, and rude with me. When I discussed my concerns with Scott, he rudely replied with: "I don't know how other dealerships do their business, but THIS is how we do it here." So they take advantage of their customers, choose not to communicate, and are confrontational? That doesn't seem like "exceptional customer service" to me.   Fortunately, Joe Myers Toyota was able to deliver with exceptional customer service and with exactly what I wanted. I was able to purchase the 4 Runner I was shopping for and was treated with the utmost respect and care from the beginning of the process until the end. Even better? It all happened in one day. I didn't have to wait a month and wasn't left in the dark about the process.   Please consider going elsewhere for your car buying needs. I lost $500 with Fred Haas Toyota. I drive all the way from Katy, TX to Spring, TX. Mind you I have a mobility disability .To buy a car which I had already called about before the dealership opened Sunday morning. I informed Jesús I had cash in hand. When I got to the dealership jesús informed me that they had shown the car to another family. Despite me calling ahead and confirming I wanting to buy the car. So after waiting 40 mins in the lobby, I was informed that the car was sold to the other family. They had no true remorse about the situation and made remarks about my income even though I already had cash in hand. The sales manager then had Randy try to pressure me into financing way more expensive cars. I told them I am not comfortable and just wanted a car for the same price. They showed me old beat up junk cars and made feel like I was not important to them. The sales manager made very prejudice and assumptions that were very concerning. As a person, man, and person of color...I have never experienced any bias up until them. They were very short with me and was rushing to help other customers who were of higher income and primarily white. I am not trying to play the race card. I used to think that this was the best location because you can get drinks inside like water, which it still may be better than other locations. Came in to test drive a Tundra on Sunday. Dana fielded us in the parking lot, took our info and passed us off to Christian. Dana is listed as the primary salesperson on our contract even though it was Christian who spent nearly four hours with us test driving two trucks and helping us arrive at a decision and price point that we were happy with. Michael at Financing was likewise very patient in working with us to get the best financing arrangement. It was such a great experience that we immediately told two friends who are in the market for cars about it. HOWEVER: we requested that some work be done on the truck so the agreement was for us to return the next day to pick it up. Christian said he wouldn't be here but assured us that Dana would take care of us and have a delivery manager get us set up on the truck. Following day we make the hour drive out to the dealership, just to find that the key to our truck was missing. Dana did not hesitate to throw Christian under the bus, saying that it was Christian that dropped the ball because Christian was the one that called us to let us know that the truck was ready. Eventually Dana found the key in the mechanic's lockbox, with his name on the key tag no less. Look, miscommunication happens, that's okay. But how about some accountability and ownership. Are you or are you not our primary salesperson? When we parted ways yesterday Dana knew our plan to pick up the truck the next day. Even if Christian did not ask him to take point, one would expect a primary salesperson to take the initiative to follow up/through on a sale from start to delivery. But as with all dealerships, it's every man for himself. If you're already working with a salesperson you can bet that no one else would so much as look you in the eye, needless to say offer you water or make sure you're sitting in the right waiting area so you don't get skipped over, even though they're just standing around. In fact I'm writing this as we wait for the delivery manager. They only have one, so we've been waiting an hour and counting as she works her way through the customers, possibly skipped over because Dana told us (an hour later) that we were seated in the wrong area (even though he passed by us at least twice). Granted, Dana apologized for the wait but the wait is not what needs apology for. It's us being left to our own devices now that the sale is done. The handover sucks. Nothing to confirm that the work we requested was done, so we had to get on the ground and do the inspection ourselves. Promised that detailing will be done but only removed the marks that we pointed out; still visible dust all over the dashboard and controls, fingerprints on the glass and doors and hairs on the mat. Not that I care about any of that; what matters is people following through on their word and seeing to it that their promises are made good. It's also alarming how many of their salespeople leave customer information face up on their desks even after they've left for the day. Nonetheless, I will still refer people to Christian because he's still the nicest car salesperson that I know (though the bar is low), will work with you to make a deal, and delivered on the major items that he promised. read more

This dealership is the parent company of Fred Haas Toyota Country. As you can see the other reviews are correct pretty much about everything. Myself working in the auto industry have had the worst experience from the original GM at the Country store who is now the COO at this store. Customer service along with their ethics is the last thing they think about and address when issues arise. They are worried about the bottom $$ signs. Myself buying a car this year in March have had that car in the service department 8 times and it's there now again for a headliner being on back order for 6 months. Now car has a recall, have had the trunk adjusted twice, the hood adjusted twice: I've even had to pay rentals in order to get car serviced. Issues started at 5k filed maintenance and the car is at the dealership every month for some issue. Then it will be back on there when recall parts come in I assume so that will be like 10 or more times in 9 months I've owned the car. The dealership managers, COOs and whoever is above does not have the courtesy to make things right because they are not going to lose a $ but will have unhappy customers warning everyone else & that's why they have a 2.5 rating so beware. Went in today for oil change and tire rotation with an inspection. I watch mechanic entire time. He drove vehicle over to inspection and was walking back . I said hey did you rotate my tires? He replied yes sir, I said bullshit. I watched you the entire time and you never did . He said let me check paperwork. So he brought it back over and rotated tires. It only takes one to lie directly to my face when I'm paying for the service. Brought it to service managers attention and gave him time off. He was the most knowledgeable salesperson I have ever dealt with. Additionally, he was not pushy and was very professional. The closing paperwork was very efficient and quick. He never said I had to have approval first. We've been car shopping for my wife. We drove several models and were impressed with all the options on new SUVs! (She has a 2013 Highlander) She was excited about the Mazda CX-5 and we were driving south to look at some. We bought the highlander from Fred Haas and had a good experience, and they showed a CX-5 on their website, so I decided to take a detour to see if it was still there. It wasn't, but Danny took us around and showed us several options. We came back to the first car we drove, the Toyota RAV4. It's a little harder to get in for me (I'm 6'1"), but once in there is enough room to be comfortable. We didn't want to be there late so we asked to take it home to try it. No problem. We went back the next day and after some back and forth we got close to what we wanted for our car (and above KBB trade-in value) and a few extras to make the deal. I'm taking a star off for the finance guy. I know it's his job to sell the extras, but he didn't even tell us our rate. Then he gave it as 5.9% (WAY too high). He acted like that was the best so we did a little quick internet research and found lower available rates. Then he called his back guy and lowered it to 3.99. We kept looking and had him pull my credit again for BOA and Chase. Approved for 3.24%. BAM !! I don't think he was going to tell us until the end. If you know you excellent credit, don't go with the 5 and up %, ask for a lower deal! VERY satisfied with salesman Danny! 5/5 Finance guy. 2/5. He did throw in some extras, but he was going to give us about $50 more a month in payment. Stupid. But they've been good to us overall both times. *** Buyer Beware *** The dealer add-ons are a COMPLETE waste of money. Let's go through those on my invoice: 1) $364 - Vehicle Protection Package - Paint Renewer Cleaner Paint Sealant Fabric Guard. Ok. It's a tube of basically wax and no one had a clue what the Fabric guard was; pouring a few drops of water on a surface that had fabric guard applied would result in beading of the water. So, no fabric guard and a tube of high priced wax/sealant that has a street price of $40. 2) $595 - Scratch Shield. Basically $5 dollars worth of stickers. 4 placed on the edge of each door and 4 more behind the vehicle handles on the exterior of the vehicle. What a joke. 3) $895 - Window Tint. The cheapest dye based tint available. You could get the same job done elsewhere for $250. After realizing this shysterism I didn't even want that junk installed. Instead I'm having high quality ceramic tint installed everywhere INCLUDING the front windshield for $750. Radically better product, more product, for less cost! 4) $275 - Premium Carpet Mat Set. Decent carpets worth about $100 but for the price get yourself something better. These dealer add-ons are all about profit NOTHING else. Heck, they won't even deliver some of the products! Don't buy from Fred Haas Toyota World. They are far less honest than you would hope for. If you're going to spend $20k, $30k, $40k, or more do that somewhere where the people actually appreciate your hard earned money. **Update** Some bot directed me to call Joe Salazar. I did. Literally so freaking upset with the collision department. I was in an accident over a month ago and have been given 3 different dates that my car was supposed to be done, and there has been an excuse every time as to why it's not ready. Wrong parts, someone is out of the office, etc. meanwhile I'm paying $300 a week for a rental car. Don't take your car here for repairs. I learned my lesson. While they agreed to pay for the week of my rental, still totally upset it's taken them over a month to fix my car, and stories have changed a handful of times. I will not make the mistake of taking my car here again. Taking my review down to one star due to not being able to get ahold of ANYONE. They have no had my car over 40 days with no definite finish date, my adjuster doesn't understand either why my car isn't fixed, and we have now sold our house and are supposed to be moving on the 6th to Dallas and my car won't be done by then. Please see my original review of 8/4 regarding a battery that was to be replaced on 7/12. I contacted FHTW on 7/18 after receiving a "thank you for having service done here" text. I told them I was unhappy, as I'd received horrible service, and a bad battery. I received no reply to that text. I next sent an email on7/20 to "M Wood" at MWood@fhtworld.com who is listed as the head of the service department on their website. I sent a very detailed description of what happened during my supposed battery replacement and my return 2 days later. I received no response from M Wood. On 8/4 I posted a yelp review and received a quick response from "Jessica" stating I should call Joe Sanchez (or Salazar, I can't remember his last name for sure) with his number. I called him the next day and received his voicemail. I told him I was calling about a yelp review and was instructed by Jessica to call him, and left my number. I usually go to this dealership since it is very close to my home. However the service is incredibly bad. I went there for an full maintenance about 3 months ago. The "full" maintenance took less than 10 mins. I questioned them what exactly did to my vehicle as there is no way they can change the oil, inspect and rotate tires in 10 mins. Aside from that they broke one of my rim hub caps. They tried to argue that they didn't break them however apparently after reviewing video footage they found the technician did break them. I waited 2 weeks for them to order the hub caps . Today I decided to give me a chance they yet again it was a disappointment. This time they had me wait 4.5 hours for a tire rotation only and they broke 2 of my hub caps . Dennis and the technician took no type of responsibility and they have yet to call me back regarding the hub caps. I don't understand why or how they break them . Carla greeted us and started to tell us about the vehicles and told us that we aren't able to get any customized vehicle online anymore. She continued to show us other options and she seemed knowledgeable about new trucks that would be in transit. We came across a color that I liked and we started discussing prices but at this point she was getting really frustrated with us now. My husband and I wanted to step out for a few minutes to rethink If this was a good option for us. We then called Carla back because we were interested but she didn't even check system and immediately said it was sold. She didn't offer any more help. We came across another salesman and was able to assist us this time but Carla noticed how we came back and approached us but I had told her someone else was nice and now helping us. She seemed extremely upset and made us uncomfortable because she told the salesman something and stormed right infront of us. Second , going to finance with Miguel Garcia. This person who at first was attentive to us but then in a blink of an eye when we declined his guarantee or offers he also became upset and hardly continued to even talk to us. Never going to recommend this place to anyone. This was our first new vehicle and wanted to have a wonderful and accomplished moment but this was such a disappoint. They acted as kindergarten. Literally the worst dealership I've ever been to. They made me wait 6 hours for a crappy trade in deal and they only budged because I left the dealership, so i went back. When I went to pick up my Tacoma and drive it away, a salesman or worker left his CIGARETTE boxes in the truck. A few months later, I'm coming to find that I have to spend nearly 700 on maintenance for the 60,000 mile mark because Fred haas did the BARE minimum on the required 60k maintenance in order for it to pass the pre owned inspection, so now I've been going 10k miles without some things being done that needed to be. I don't even want to give them the 1 star. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them. Service has been horrible. Every time we get our truck serviced it takes hours. We also have gotten something replaced and kept on having to go back for the same issues. Costing us more money and time. This last time we had to get our brakes replaced again. So we drop off our truck at 7am on Saturday. They know we are leaving it with them. Didnt hear back from them til 15mins before closing. By the time we get to talk to someone about not making it in time for pick up they pretty much said sorry I guess you will have to come get it on Monday then go to work. The car I owned was a 2012 Cadillac with 89,000+ miles and I was ready for something newer and with less miles. I wanted to buy a 2018 Nissan Murano and had already been at one dealership without success. I made a last minute appointment with Bobby Waheed at Fred Haas Toyota World in Spring because I found that they had a car like I wanted in stock. My dealings with Bobby were excellent. I told him want I wanted in trade for my car (my car was paid off - makes it much easier that way) and he gave me what I wanted without any hassle or issues. Bobby treated me very professionally and was very genuine to work with. I also like that he is very direct (like me) in his communications. The whole car buying process was done in two hours and I was out the door with my new car. After a few weeks of having the car a friend of mine noticed that my "new" car had some old hail damage on the roof. (Me being 5' 5" I couldn't see it until he pointed it out.) I contacted Bobby and explained the situation and he asked me to bring it in. He and the Fred Haas sales manager looked over my car and agreed that it had some old damage and offered to fix it ASAP at no charge. Bobby arranged a loaner car for me (no charge) and had the shop fix the hail damage in one day. I was REALLY impressed with the service! I have never really had a good thing to say about car salesmen, but Bobby was an exception. I highly recommend working with him at Fred Haas. I also found out that Bobby can pretty much get any kind of car you want in stock - he isn't limited to just Toyotas (or Nissans). Ask for Jimmy Nguy, if you want a no-pressure deal with a fair price. I had a couple of addons done after I chose my truck and he handled them without a ridiculous mark-up (and yes I shopped around at aftermarket places to compare prices). He sent me the paperwork that was needed and I was able to fill it out at home while my truck was being finished. When I came in, I was able to drive out in around 30 minutes. This review is for the collision and body shop at Fred Haas, Spring, Texas. Once again, I am incredibly impressed with the customer service I received with Fred Haas, of Spring. The damage from this wreck initially appeared minor. The technicians at the the body and collision department "dug into" the vehicle and found structural items that were missed by the insurance company. This includes a buckled floor board, stripped bolts under the truck bed, etc. The technicians spent a large amount of time to find out "what was wrong", with quirky computer codes and sensors. They saved me the added expense of replacing parts that the computer flashed an error on. The techs are so knowledgeable that they researched error codes that didn't makes sense to them and their amount of experience with comparable wrecks. Chris Garcia, my account rep. Kept me informed of progress and concerns. He dealt with the insurance company and acted as a "go between" so that I didn't have to deal with them. Chris also answered multiple questions, showed photos and explained the process any time I asked. When the repair was complete, they made sure to walk me around the truck and show me things to watch out for in regards to the work and their work carries a lifetime warranty. They put gas in my tank, they changed my oil and took care of blemishes in the tint..they also coordinated the rental car exchange. The reception staff was fantastic, prompt and courteous.
