    Never ready

So, I tried to give this place a second chance to redeem themselves. They have failed. Around 4pm they have no chili. After waiting for 10 minutes for the food. Someone tells me, sorry no chili, want your money back. WTH. What are y'all doing? What is the issue? I will make it a personal job to close this place down for bad service and efficiency

First time here. The food was very good! I'll be back. When I was going to throw my tray away, I accidentally spilled it all over the floor. The front counter girl kindly cleaned it up. She was also very helpful when we were ordering I didn't catch her name but she had red/purple hair

We enjoyed Freddy's. A step up from your average burger joint. The beef is good on the burger. I had a bunless burger. They call it a lettuce wrap. And my husband had a double smash burger. The fries are pretty good. I'm a sucker for shoestring fries. Overall it was descent tasting. They are pretty fast with orders. If you want a smash burger it's not bad.

If a place has french fries, he's in. And I'd heard that Tony's was one of the best places to grab a burger in the area, so everybody wins here. I had the Juicy Tony and it was a solid burger. It's noted on the menu that is must be served medium rare, no exceptions - that's my preferred temperature anyway, so it was perfect for me. It was indeed juicy and tender. The cajun fries were a nice pairing. We enjoyed our experience overall. Was it a top notch, amazing burger? I wouldn't go that far, but it did its job and I'm happy we came and tried it out.

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.

I had never seen a chicken smash burger before and it was so good. The edges were crispy, the flavor was amazing, and it was cooked perfectly. We also got two milkshakes and they were really good. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they make the food to order. Service was fast, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was spotless which I always appreciate. It was pretty quiet when we got there. This place is easily one of the best burger spots around. The menu is very concise and consists of burger, spicy burger, chicken sandwich, vegan burger, plus sides. They do have a kids menu and a small selection of milkshakes as well. We both ordered smashburgers with a single patty--they charge extra to add lettuce, tomato and pickles. Raw onion is not an option on the menu. The burgers come with caramelized onions, cheese, and bamsauce. We also got an order of fries and the cookies and cream milkshake. Everything was flavorful overall, and the fries were very hot. I added lettuce and pickles, so my burger had a nice balance of meaty cheesiness along with some freshness. The food did take longer than I expected for it to come out--so don't expect fast food speed. The milkshake was so good, I had a hard time not consuming it right away, but I was also pretty hungry. It's a pretty bare bones place from the menu to the service to the overall ambiance. For anyone who prefers to keep their distance from others, this is a dream come true. For me, that slightly detracted so I'd probably get it to-go next time.

A quick Google search brought this place up first with 4.9 stars, which is practically unheard of these days, so we decided to try it. Wow. What a meal. We started with the onion ring basket and a half order of beer bread. The onion rings were fantastic--huge, thick-cut rings with a wonderfully seasoned batter that actually had flavor instead of tasting flat or bland. Served piping hot, which matters to me because I like my food HOT. The ranch dressing was a great addition, too. The beer bread was decent. You could definitely taste the beer, but it wasn't the best loaf I've ever had. Mom, Mark, and I all ordered the grilled ribeye steak sandwich. I'm the only one who got it as designed on the menu. I originally expected more of a slab-of-steak sandwich, but it was actually closer to a Philly cheesesteak style sandwich, which honestly I prefer. Mom and Mark skipped the peppers, onions, garlic aioli, and pepper jack cheese in favor of lettuce, tomato, and mayo instead. Our waiter, Evan, was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and clearly proud of the restaurant. He even offered to tell us the history of the building and restaurant, which added so much to the experience. The story is also printed on the back of the menu, and it's definitely worth reading. Evan mentioned he's only been there a few months, but he is absolutely an asset to the restaurant as a server. My brother Mark is blind and autistic, and it's honestly not often a server addresses him directly. They usually look to mom or me and ask, "What does he want?," but Evan asked Mark directly. Kudos to him. We had to finish the meal with the historical whiskey chocolate cake, and I'm glad we did. It's served warm with whipped cream on the side, caramel sauce drizzled across the plate, and pecans on top. Absolutely delicious and huge! There were four of us who shared it, and it was more than enough for each of us. Also worth mentioning: the sweet potato fries are an extra $4 but absolutely worth it. These are NOT frozen Ore-Ida fries dumped from a bag. They're clearly fresh cut and homemade, and they were delicious. For nearly two o'clock in the afternoon, the place was packed--at least three-quarters full--and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly. I live in Katy, so Old Town Spring is definitely not nearby for me, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through. It's easy to see why people love it. A definite five-star experience for us!
